I wish to claim the precedent that all the non-USAF SG teams used their own gear. (SG-3 in BDUs and MCCUUs, SG-4 in Russian gear, SG-25 in ACUs, etc.)

But, is he MILITARY assigned?
If he's military, he's restricted to SI stuff.
Standard operation for all armies, in any country with an army worth speaking of.
Also, I asked my father (Colonel Doctor in the Indian Army) about the rules for military uniform, because my own experience didn't quite cover it too well.
On duty, an officer has to be constantly wearing his uniform. He can wear any where that isn't denigrating to the uniform, off duty.
In combat, you wear whatever is supplied, though some special forces have a very small choice in firearms and armor

Ever seen a movie, I think it was called A.I., but don't quote me. Mainly I cried and hated that movie with a passion since it really hit me on some levels which was odd as I didn't expect it to. So there's a few nicely done androids out there and not as cliche and over used.

I remember that one

Again, I was a small little idiot kid back when it was released, and I hated it, because it was so sad. Haven't watched it since.
Great post, Echo.
Also, to clarify how Blaze looks, because my description falls short, I show you a picture.

You can post, yes.Sep may not be fond of androids, but I see no problem with the sheet as it is. Stranger things have been found by SG teams before....As well, not all decisions we humans make are entirely logical, so its perfectly fine for him to turn down that request as he did in my opinion.

Thank you so much.

I'm not very fond of androids anymore, in sci fi as a whole, because they're quite cliche and used (still love I, Robot [not film]), but they suited the purposes of the app.

(Secret: I was stupidly tired today morning, and instead of androids, it was Kull Warriors.
Don't even..... ASK
I am aware that they die after a few hours, and the other problems, as well as the RP OPness of such a feat. Which is why I looked at my draft in the afternoon, and made "what on Eaaaarth?" face.
Just........ don't question morning/pre-coffee me
So, am I allowed to post now?
Now for the terrifying silent wait.

(also, I'll go cancel my involvement in another RP, my schedule no longer allows nine RPs, so I have to shift to only 7)
There, I've edited that part in. Its rather vague, but it gives an idea of his personality, really. Slightly arrogant, weird, but still skilled.

(still, not my best work)

No because... wouldn't he wonder why an army grunt was being asked to go into the space program? Just say he didn't want to move on.

Well, he is slightly arrogant (slightly justified in that, I suppose), and there have been, at least in India, that army officers have been chosen for them, but you make a better point, so I'll just take your idea, if thats alright

Well he might just want to finish the job he has started before taking a new job.

Theres that...
Is it possible that he is just given the option of joining, and "its .... confidential, but space related" type words? Which would leave him with the idea that its a space program, and a war would be more important? So he denies it, with the option of joining later?

GravityFlux, don't be so hard on yourself. You are basically accepted apart from the few small technical details we are discussing here. Not to mention Ellri complemented your sheet. He never does that.

Wow....
Thanks.

But still, being hard on myself is justified, and it keeps me in the game and on my toes.
But still, thanks.
Anyways, I'm just "Hmmmmmmmmm"-ing my app, wondering how I make him refuse, and still keep it right.
