Again, done in the time span of an hour, because I had little time for this today, and I wanted this to get to you guys as fast as possible. I'll be more free from now on, though, so I won't be disappearing in the RP any time, don't worry

Appearance: Harry is a slightly abnormal sight in the military, being the thin and short person of only five feet ten inches that he is. He isn't exactly "buff", but he is very fit, being able to run at speeds of 23 kilometers per hour for more than a minute. He has black hair, and black eyes, which is rather normal for a person like him, although if someone were to comment that he looked "emo", he'd punch them in the face. He wears small rectangular glasses when not in a combat situation, and wears auto-fitting contacts in combat.
Out of combat, he wears his uniform constantly, and is quite proud of it.

Nationality: Canadian
Biography: Harry was the child of Lieutenant Mike Blaze, and Doctor Jane Wilinski, two members of the Canadian Navy and Civil Services. He never was their actual son though, and he was actually adopted because of their inability to have a child.
But they were smart enough to not conceal that he was adopted, and this was a good decision that prevented any kind of stereotypical drama.
They raised him to be a normal child, although he grew up around hospitals and military bases, but they did the best they could.
He was generally noticed as rather smart, although he didn't apply himself at all, and only got away because of the huge amount of luck he had as a child, passing test based only on prior knowledge.
But as he grew up, it became quite obvious that he had no interest in any career involving him applying himself. His parents were getting incredibly unhappy with the results he was putting out in school.
He did the only he could. He joined the army, although his parents insisted that he be an officer, so that he wouldn't be shamed, when it came to that.
He joined as a Cadet, and joined the Royal Military Academy, to become an Officer. From his former experiences, people at the Academy did not expect him to graduate, or to do very well at anything at all. And because of his height and physique, he wouldn't make a very good soldier.
He surprised them all, especially the masterful jocks who excelled in the academy. He "blazed" through the academy's tactical tests, becoming brilliant at long term strategies and improvising. "Making gambits all day, sucka." from one of his favorite songs became something you'd hear from him.
He became notorious for being extremely stubborn, for attempting to beat each and every simulation that the Academy had, and even some unofficial ones posed to him. If he couldn't beat it in one go, he'd go at it again and again, spending hours, days, even weeks to win.
His tactical style of blowing through became quite predictable after a while, though, which lessened his skill. Others now became familiar with his style, even adapting and using it for themselves. He had to change. Predictability was a tacticians worst nightmare. But he didn't realize this for a while. His slight moment of fame dimmed, and he didn't understand why.
Change came in the form of a book. "History's Greatest Military Disasters", a dumbed down type of entertaining history book that he purchased at a bookstore. They gave him an idea of what he was failing at. They gave him a need, and a reason to be better, because if he failed on the field, him and his men would die, everyone would suffer casualties. And he didn't want to die. Even worse, he didn't want the deaths of people to be on his head, when those deaths could have been prevented.
So he began to analyse his own style, and produced counters and counter-counters to it. He disappeared off campus for weeks, showing up only for classes and tests. The pub he would often visit closed up shop because the customer that single handedly, or single liveredly kept them in business had gone.
When he came back out, there were challengers. New simulations had been added to stock? Brilliant, and just in time. For once again, the Blaze was back, and he was able to beat the simulations, something he'd been failing to do for a long while, as he stagnated. His motto changed, and he became more mature. "Change is the Future" became his motto.
And so came graduation, where he left with honors, and was posted to fight in Sierra Leone's civil war. Time and again, he showed his skills, although even then, they recognized his failures as well. He made mistakes, but he was only human.
The Sierra Leone War ended, with the UN getting kicked out, and he had nothing more for his skills. He didn't like sitting around on his ass all day, and he definitely hated paperwork. So, he requested for UN Duty. When his request was granted, he joined the UN Peacekeepers as a Canadian officer, fighting in most future UN deployments, such as Afghanistan.
But then his prime time came. He was selected as a Strike Leader for the SG program, but, it was because he was still fighting in Afghanistan that he refused the offer. He was told that it was a "special" mission, nothing more, but he refused on grounds of the fact that his job in Afghanistan was not done. It wasn't that he wasn't curious about it, but he could see that his CO wasn't quite happy about the prospect of him being pulled out, which was a slightly minor reason why he refused. It was purely his stubborn desire to not give the enemy the "idea that they had won", which was incredibly arrogant, and didn't quite make sense, considering only he was selected for the program. (He was aware that it was senseless and arrogant.)
Only when Canadian forces pulled out of Afghanistan, and they offered again, did he accept the offer.
He was part of the Canadian SG team, which had the dual purposes of exploration and establishment of bases on other worlds. However, the Canadian SG was quickly dismantled, due to the lack of funding after an "accident", which basically meant that the SG team discovered a crashed ship on one of the assigned area, that contained several androids, which were somehow inactive. The details of the mission are still skewed and only available to higher ranks, but it is known that the androids became immediately aggressive on their reactivation, and took the team by surprise. They annihilated almost all members of the team, and seemed to have a resistance to all the weaponry the team had, like Kull Warriors. However, Harry survived, and overloaded the ship's reactor in an attempt to destroy them, and he took whatever research he could when he got out. The planet is still under supervision, but the ship's fusion style reactor's destruction had wiped most traces of the ship right off.
His superiors were at an impasse. From what the report said, and video evidence, Harry had obviously done a great deed for them, yet, he had also destroyed a possibly large store of knowledge for the Tau'ri. And with the termination of the Canadian SG program, they never made a decision about it.
But Harry was then selected for the Catherine Langford, considering his long service in the military, and him being a former member of an SG team. They mostly selected him for his combat tactical skills, not prowess though, and he's annoyed about the prospect of PAPERWORK being something he would have to deal with
Personality: Harry is a cigar smoking, gun laundering, man with a lifetime of experience with weaponry and the military, Harrison is a well trained man with an arrogant, yet disciplined attitude. He is also incredibly proud of humanity, and his race, believing the Tau'Ri to be the best in the universe.
But when he's not acting like an Officer, (and a lot while he is), he's a quirky and outgoing. One could even describe him as outgoing and genial, as a total opposite to what he can be like if prodded a lot, in which case, he'll burst into a furious rage.
He will obey orders from his superiors, and will deal with insubordination with a subtle, yet disturbing method. He's patient, yet impatient, in the meaning that he can wait for big things, but is incapable of waiting for a burrito to heat up in a microwave.
He is also entirely unpredictable at times, and for all his reputation as a genius planner, sometimes he will unexpectedly shift to using a lot, a hella lot of raw firepower, a tactic he uses rarely, just to surprise others.

He is also rather skilled with most Tau'Ri firearms, and uses a G36K carbine whenever possible. Not skilled much at all with CQC, and definitely not with spatial non Tau'ri created weaponry.
