Just as Blake finally moved on from a particularly challenging question (for him) he finally heard a sub start chewing Mina out for drawing for once. It's not that he purposefully ignored it whenever it happened, it's just that he literally always happened to be intensely focused on figuring out a question at those moments. That, and he just so happened to be seated on the opposite side of the room from her. Tests may make a room quiet, but unless you screamed in his ear Blake just wasn't likely to hear anything if he was particularly focused.

Back to the matter at hand, Blake just raised his head and hand up at Om. "She really is," he added to Alden's defense, "I see her do it after tests sometimes and our teacher doesn't get mad over it." Surprisingly enough, yes, he has in fact finished tests before time was up to see it. He didn't really see what the sub's problem was. It was one thing if she was sharing her answers around, but from where he was sitting it didn't look like there was really any way for her to do that either.

With that out of his system, Blake went right back into his test. Just a few more questions to solve! Just a few more... Oh goodness these are the things he has the toughest time with... Blake scratched his head and just kept at it to figure it out.
Interested.
Oh! Nearly forgot. Naturally I have Blake's brother all drawn up too.

I'm not gonna make a sheet for him, though. If he weren't so lazy I'd definitely sign him up as a villain.
Shoop. I decided to just toss Blake into Chem too. He's one of those kids who could've just taken Earth Science to get off easy, but wound up going with Chem anyway.

As the clock turned to 6:00 in the morning, a phone charging on a desk went off and started playing an obnoxiously loud metal cover of a video game track. If it weren’t for the fact that it was an alarm, one might enjoy it. For Blake Reyes, however, it only brought dread as it forced him out from his dream and back into reality. ”Ughhhh… And it was such a good dream…” he groaned to himself as he grabbed one of his pillows and stuffed it over his face. Nope, that’s not Blake’s alarm going off at all. Blake doesn’t use an alarm because his brother Albert’s in the next room over is loud enough to work perfectly fine. The downside to using Al’s alarms, however, is that… they’re usually not effective for Al himself at all. The alarm will just keep blaring until someone comes in to personally wake him up and get him to turn it off.

With a heavy groan, Blake managed to roll out of bed and face the music. Literally as he went into Al’s room to wake him up.

Over the next hour and a half, the whole family pulled itself out of bed to get ready for the day. Being the first one up, Blake was the first one ready. Fashion choice was a no-brainer to him, he just threw on his ordinary outfit. His parents came next, but Al opted to sleep in for a while longer. By the time he finally mustered up enough energy to get out of bed as well, they had all already finished breakfast.

At around 8:00, the whole family started piling out the door to head out for the day. The boys’ parents just drove together to work while the boys themselves just biked to school. It was good exercise in Blake’s opinion! Al never really liked it. Too much effort for early in the morning. It was a twist of cruel fate that Al was the one saddled with P.E. early morning while Blake got an ordinary class period, really.

Once that passed, Blake headed off to Chemistry, a knot growing in his stomach as he recalled the test that they had today. He wasn’t good at studying… Up until this year, he had managed to get through most of his classes purely through skimming his notes the night before. It really worked in most classes! Math and chemistry… not so much. There was a faint glimmer of hope in Blake’s eyes when he saw that they had a sub today, but it all came crashing back down once Om announced they’d be going through with it anyway. He stared at the test with disdain once it was passed to him, but he did his best to get down everything he could remember. At the worst, he figured, he’d be getting a 60 on it.
Oooooookie dokie I have most of my post written up.

Just gotta figure out what class to send Blake off to...
i mean look at blake

his day hasn't even started yet

I still gotta get writing on a post. HWOOP
I'll just append "Alden is on his shitlist" to Blake's CS then...

Yeah I'll probably work on Blake's Actual Personality section tomorrow. I got a class I gotta get up early for so I'll hop off for now.
@Inertia Hmm... I get the feeling they wouldn't get along very well.

It kinda feels like they'd be at odds, even down to their fashion. Alden's a perfectionist that's kinda rude, and Blake's the kind of guy who's fine with getting things about right and wants to be as nice as possible. Alden's behavior would probably strike a few of Blake's sour spots.

Also their fashion. Blake's bland as all heck about his fashion sense and gets Dad Haircuts while Alden's all prim and proper.

If he poked fun at that he'd definitely be on Blake's shit Dislike List!
I find it kinda funny how, scrolling down the Character Sheet, each successive one just happens to be more detailed than the last.
