Hellsalem’s Lot - Shotaro and Philip

”Ehhh... Basically people just figured out how to build better.” Shotaro answered Satori plainly to contrast Kotoha’s more complicated sounding answer. Were Philip unoccupied rifting through all the information in his head, he might have answered it even less plainly and with even more complicated sounding words. Instead he merely noted, ”Shotaro, did you know? The Statue of Liberty was not originally the green it’s known for. It’s actually made of copper that rusted away over the decades.”

”Oh, I didn’t know that actually… Geh!? What’re you looking that stuff up for, Philip?! Besides, why the heck would our guys wanna go all the way out to the Statue of Liberty island?!” Shotaro shook his partner as punishment for his off-topic research, but it didn’t seem to faze Philip in the slightest.

”It wouldn’t hurt to entertain the possibility. Perhaps they’ve been hiding out there instead of being on the mainland?” Philip shrugged indifferently, but when Satori offered to stop for a small break he opened his eyes back up. “A break sounds good. I see no harm in stopping for a drink. What about you, Shotaro?”

Shotaro inhaled deeply, though he didn't let out a full sigh so it wouldn't look like he was complaining about it. Even if he had his reservations about it, it's not like everyone could/would keep at the same pace as him. Had they really walked that much by now, though? Ah- well, the Kotoha girl had her excuse at least. There was definitely no way he could say no if that’s what she was up to until just now. Satori had a point too, they might be able to get some kind of gossip or plan of action out of it. ”Alright then, a break can’t hurt us,” he said with a bit of resignation to his voice. And with that, he and Philip started toward the coffee shop.
Schoooooool.

I'll try and get a post up tonight if not tomorrow.
Let New York say fuck Sleep - Shotaro and Philip

”Ah! You’re right, that’s not important now.” Shotaro shook his head, disappointed in himself for getting distracted by something so relatively small when there was the whole “world at stake” deal in front of him.

”I still stand by that this would be an interesting topic to talk about,” Philip defended himself in his typical straightforward tone, ”But you are right, we should be more serious about this. Another time then.” He closed his eye again to focus on the bookshelves flying past within his mind. ”Keywords if you please, Shotaro.

So as not to fall behind and start losing time, Shotaro slung his arm around Philip’s shoulder and started walking with him to follow Satori. ”Keywords: New York City; Popular Locations; Underground.”

”Rather vague terms… But I’ll see what I can look up with it.” Philip remarked. The shelves in his mind narrowed significantly to just a few, but there was still a great number of books and information to sift through.
HUP

Sorry, still here. I wanted to try and get a post up over the weekend, but I was neck deep an art project.

Well- I still technically am, but the load should lessen tonight. Hopefully enough to try and crank a post out. If not tonight tomorrow.
hoo-hah

I'm kinda tired, so I can't tell how coherent that post is, but AH DIDIT
After their last class, Blake and Al had an uneasy bike ride home. They were quite sure it would be more than a little uncomfortable to have to explain what really went down at lunch and why Blake wound up pulled into it. True enough, the atmosphere was a bit heavy when their parents got home. The first thing they did was sit the boys down to give them the whole truth of the matter- which they did do, but filled with reassurances that neither of them did anything to make it worse. The Reyes knew they didn’t raise liars, so they bought into it rather well, if a little angrily. What good was it in calling out the people who seriously couldn’t do a thing? What kind of teacher calls their students sheep?! And what kind of a detention occurs that late at night on a Thursday?

The family pulled a collective shrug. Mr. Reyes called the teacher who assigned it an asshole.

However, just because they didn’t agree with the punishment didn’t mean it gave Blake a free pass to skimp out on it. Unfortunate as it was, he still had to attend it. Despite his heavy groaning about it, his parents ordered he finish his homework early so he could just get this over with.

And so he did…

At around 7 PM, Blake biked away from his home in the same old clothes, but with an old, yellow hoodie swapped out for his button-up shirt. Mostly by his dad’s nagging and his insistence of always arriving somewhere with half an hour to spare. Blake never made it a priority to actually follow that creed, but if his dad was around to enforce it he didn’t have much of a choice. His dad also usually insisted the boys not go out alone around night time, but just this once he decided to test the waters and let Blake go by himself instead of just driving him there or making his brother accompany him.

When Blake arrived, however, he found himself half-wishing Al was here with him. He couldn’t help but feel somebody was watching him as he locked up his bike. It didn’t help matters at all when he saw something dart just out of sight when he turned to check on it. There was a growing sense of discomfort in the pit of Blake’s stomach after seeing that… Was somebody stalking the park? Or was somebody just being a sneaky little sunuvagun? He wasn’t sure he’d enjoy the outcome either way. To try and settle down, he just pat his face and started making his way to where he thought the meet-up location was. Surely it was just nothing… Surely.
I'll be here eventually. Just gotta get some stuff sorted out and muster up enough energy to sit down and write.
That is incredibly silly.

I'm in.
How violent is this video game?

As violent as you'd expect Super Smash Bros to get. There's just a bunch of skewed focus in the ~30 second period between matches.

She mentioned her name. ^^; Arturia Pendragon.

I know. ...Gaaah. Should've noted at what point Philip got into earshot of the conversation. I had it in my head that he overheard only the bit about what they were supposed to do now. Gonna make oooooone more edit.
