After some discussion, @VitaVitaAR and @Grey Star decided to do some swaperoonies with their pair and my characters. So now, Rika and Michi are paired and Sakie and Naoki are paired.
Receiver:
  • Name: Michi Masayuki
  • Age: 15
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance:
  • Personality: A very grounded and mature young woman who tends to take too much responsibility on her shoulders, especially when her brother is involved. She's a bit of a worry wart and tends to be overprotective of those she cares about. In fact, its hard for her to get that as a Reciever, she needs to rely on her tuner. She'd rather carry all the burden on herself and fight her own battles. She can't stand causing someone else trouble, while wanting help others with their problems. It's this attitude that kept her from being perfectly compatible with her twin, which is why the school found her a different tuner when she enrolled.
  • Skills: Because of her desire to be strong enough to protect her brother, she's taken classes in both judo and kendo from an early age.
  • Brief Backstory: The eldest of fraternal twins, she was genetically modified to be a Reciever. Her brother had went under the scientist radar until several months later when there was two fetuses instead of one. Time passed after the twins were born and to the surprise of scientists, the younger twin had shown signs of being a Tuner. Many theorized that growing in the same womb as a Reciever may have had some effect on the other twin. Whichever the case, there had been hope that they would form a powerful Reciever and Tuner pair. Unfortunately, the Michi's overprotectiveness proved detrimental to their growth. They were forced to find new partners, much to Michi's chagrin.
  • Tuner: N/A

Tuner:
  • Name: Naoki Masayuki
  • Age: 15
  • Gender: Male
  • Appearance:
  • Personality: He is a rather spontaneous and airheaded boy who seems to only ever get serious about music. Being scatterbrained and spacey, its hard for him to concentrate hard. When people talk to him, occassionally words just go through one ear and out the other. He can only ever focus if he's listening to or playing music. Despite his ditzy nature, he's a good hearted boy who easily considers every person he meets as another new friend.
  • Type: Ability
  • Abilities: Sound Manipulation: The ability to control any sort of soundwaves. This can be done by amplifying or muffling a sound, turning the sound into something painful to the ears, or even creating a sort of sonic boom effect with the sound. With a better relationship with his partner, his control over sound can get more intricate and percise. For instance, in a room full of people, he can have such control that only certain people in that room can hear a certain sound.
  • Skills: He is a pretty skilled musician, capable of playing the violin, piano/electric keyboard, and sing.
  • Brief Backstory: From a young age, Naoki was always considered weaker than his sister. That and his sacchrine attitude made him the target of bullies. Often his sister would come running to his defense and it was one of these days that it was accidently discovered that her brother was a Tuner. His cries had been loud that day, far too loud. Loud enough for Michi to hear from the other side of the block and loud enough to hurt the ears of his bullies. When the scientist found out, they saw this as a good opportunity to make a powerful Reciever and Tuner pair. But, of course, things didn't turn out how they expected. Michi was too protective and Naoki would let her making growth for either twin impossible unless they were seperated.
several years before they came to the academy, Naoki had discover a love for music. He found he could use his powers to make the music he made sound even better and that love grew more and more. He would take all the time to learn every instrument he could, but so far he's only learned how to play violin and piano. He hopes to learn guitar one day too.

Koishi Komeiji

"No, no, it's not 'that thing', it's Koishi!" The youkai replied, cheerfully oblivious to any insult being called a thing would be. She blinked between the two blond heroes. War? What was that? Were the fairies picking fights with eachother again? They were such funny danmaku matches. She would occasionally come across them and find herself unconsciously watching them.

The female blonde then approached her with a stern expression, telling her this was no place for young girls. Koishi looked around. Lots of people, shops, and other places but nothing that seemed especially dangerous. "Shopping districts aren't for young girls?" With a tilt of her head, she questioned the other girl, "Then we should get the little Scarlet out of here~"

The satori then proceeded to cup her hands over her eyes. Now, where was that tiny shut-in. It seemed that Koishi had completely forgotten where she had last seen the girl.

Chamo Rosso

The young saint attempted to make her way through the throng of people. Such huge crowds and big strange buildings, all the flashing lights and chatter were giving her a major headache. She could silence it all, get rid of it one fell swoop. All she had to do was stick that foxtail into her throat. However, a voice in the back of mind, a voice that sound distinctly like Adlet (or maybe Hans?) was telling her to actually be patient.

With a scowl, she continued to walk through the crowd instead doing what she actually wanted. She wasn't actually paying much attention where she was walking. So, it wasn't much of a surprise when she ended up bumping into a red haired boy in glasses.

"Hey, watch where you're going! You almost made Chamo fall," The green clad girl demanded as if it was Negi's fault and not her own.
Chamo

Chamo was bored. She was really, really bored. So bored that she wandered off from the others to go play with her pets. They had protested of course, said it was too dangerous and that they should stick together. Chamo might have listened if Adlet or Hans was there. But they weren’t. Those stupid jerks had went ahead somewhere without Chamo, so now here she was bored and with no fiends to kill.

The saint was just about to get up and go farther into the forest when she spotted a strange light. Her eyes widened. Was someone trying to kill Chamo again? Was… was she going to die this time? An unbidden fear that she didn’t feel very often gripped at her, keeping her from moving at all. She squeezed her eyes shut. Chamo didn’t want to die. It was scary, it was way too scar-

When she opened her eyes, it wasn’t death she found. Rather, it was a crowded place with strange buildings and people. How…? Where…? Chamo was so confused. And all this noise was giving her a headache, especially after she so embarrassingly thought some silly light was going to kill her. Whoever had played such an awful trick on Chamo was going to get ripped to shreds. They’ll definitely end up as scraps for her pets!

Koishi

Koishi’s engagements prior to getting engulfed by a bright light mattered little the girl. She barely even remembered what it was. Maybe it was fighting one of those taoists? They always claimed such silly things like being immortal, but she was positively sure everyone dies someday, right? Koishi spent enough time with the kashas to know this much!

Whatever the case, she currently found herself in a street crowded by strangely dressed people. Was this the outside world? She heard stories from that funny tanuki woman at the buddhist shrine. Koishi hadn’t paid that much attention but she caught enough to say this place looked a lot like she described.

That was weird. She didn’t remember coming to the outside world. Of course, there was a lot of places Koishi didn’t remember wandering to until she had already found herself there. That shrine maiden must not be doing a very good job if even Koishi can find her way outside~

Looking around the crowd, a multicolored twinkle caught her eyes. Wasn’t that one of the SDM shut-ins? Maybe she should go say hello? The satori didn’t seem to notice how frightened the girl looked and was just about to literally pop up behind her and whoever the vampire had bumped into. Luckily, something far more interesting got the attention of the satori.

Two blondes were in an intense staring match. One that Koishi had the mind to interrupt just because it popped into her head. She moved through the crowd with ease, not being noticed and yet also being avoided. She subconsciously masked her presence up until she was right between the two starey people, with arms open wide and a far too cheerful grin on her face, “Hello! I am Koishi!”

Spirit Wielder

Kanon suddenly hit her fist into her open palm, “Vampire, that’s it! Huh, I was really off.” Momentarily distracted by the revelation, it took her a second to catch back onto the conversation. So, her dad was involved into something like that? And now she was being asked to help in this matter as well? If her father had gotten involved then it most certainly had to be important, “Okay, I’ll help you. I’ll definitely do whatever I can. Just tell me what I need to do.”

“Wait, wait, Kanon-nee,” Shiroi blurted, nearly spilling the sake she had previously been drinking without a single care, “You’re gonna just trust her like that? You even let her in the house even though she was a stranger, right?”

Kanon nodded without a hint of hesitation, “Yep! If dad could trust her, then so can I!” She bowed politely to Elizabeth, “Please take care of us.”

“Maaaaster, have more concern for yourself,” It was a dog-like whine with slip of the tongue neither girl noticed. Normally, Shiroi would call her Kanon-nee, Kanon had made sure she would be called something other than Master. Still, occasional mistakes like this tended to happen, especially if the inugami was worried.

Child Mage

Once again, she had found herself stopped by the older woman. How bothersome. Not only did she ignore her advice once, but she ignored it a second time. Well, she supposed she couldn’t blame her for not knowing the dangers in being out so late now of all times. Maybe she should just let this woman take her home then sneak away. Still, that didn’t solve the problem of Kazumi being out whilst a war (albeit a very secret one) was basically about to happen. But was that really Cornelia’s concern?

Green eyes looked up at Kazumi, staring intensely as if she was trying to will her away with looks alone. That, obviously, was a very futile effort. Relenting, the girl sighed like it was the woman being the persistent child and not her, “Fine, I’ll go home.

It wasn't as obvious or frequent as Undyne. Just the occasional 'damns' here or there.
Oh boy, that is a lot of cursing for Undyne to be doing. I have the same opinion as Screwloose on this.

To be perfectly honest, I do hate seeing characters that don't cuss, y'know, actually cuss. I noticed you did the same for some of Twilight's narration and its just kind of jarring?
Jade Harley

Oh boyyyy, this guy really was not a happy camper! Weren't caped crusaders supposed to be nice and campy. And, you know, not a big grumpy pants! At least, that's what John always said when he'd go on and on and on about the awesomeness of all those comic book heroes. Though, maybe he was one of those anti-heroes? Jade distinctly remembered her brother telling her they were kind of jerkfaces.

"Roger dodger, mr. mask!" The dog girl replied with an ever present goofy grin and a mock salute, before she began floating up into the sky. Pulling the rifle off her back, she moved the scope up to her eye. Not having her First Guardian powers was seriously inconvenient for finding out where she was. She now had to rely on good old fashioned eye sight. And, well, the scope of a high calibur rifle, but details!

She looked to the left. Nothing but lots of food plants and food animals. She looked to the right and noticed her new partner heading towards something. Getting a better look, she spotted a group of people near a Bento tree. She guessed that meant they weren't the only ones brought here.

The godtier was just about to fly down and join the group when she spotted something headed towards them. Bugs! Big gross bugs! Oh nooooooo! They were going to hurt all those potential friends! jade definitely couldn't have that. Aiming her rifle, she began taking long distance shots at the bugs. Unfortunately, there was too many for her to get them all, but it seemed the Bento Tree people had a lot of cool abilities that let them handle themselves!

Tsubomi Kido

Today had certainly been a long day for the Mekakushidan leader. Still drenched in Miso and with no idea where she was, all she could do was cross her over her chest and shiver ever so slightly. Miso Lake had been pleasantly warm before, but now out here in the breeze, she was feeling a chill starting to set in. Cold, wet, and with no where to go. She guessed this was the full runaway experience she never really had to endure. At least, she wouldn't be going hungry anytime soon.

Kido seemed to be taking this much better than before. She was, until, she felt something poke her side. Looking down, her naturally glare-like gaze actually managed to widen considerably. She felt faint. Nope. Brain does not want to accept this reality. This was all a dream~

W, what was even up with this girl's arms?! She was so... odd looking. "U-uh... I'm... uh," Brain still refused to work and her mouth was doing little to help either. "I mean, I don't..." Come on Kido, you can be cool. You can handle this. She opened her mouth to attempt communication again. And failed. Miserably.
