Made my character- I still have to add in a bio but I figured I'd post what I had so far, just in case it needs tweaking :3

Reason for Exile
Jaina had been hired by a rather influential and wealthy businessman, Haider Sherjihan, to protect him and his wares while he and his caravan travelled North to sell their exotic wares. What should have been an easy journey with only the usual dangers became much more when one of Haider’s son decided this was the right time to stage a coup. Haider wasn’t too well liked among his own, known for being strict and stingy with his family and even more so with those who worked for him. It was not hard to believe someone would wish to overthrow him and take over his business empire. Jaina however was not swayed by the money; their inner politics weren’t her affairs and she simply wished to be paid the amount that had been promised to her at the end of the journey.
There was no contest when it was the entire caravan versus two people. Jaina was a skilled fighter, but there was no way she could take on over ten people and keep the businessman alive and well. In the end, she was able to escape with her life, continuing her way back to the city. It wasn’t long before she was accused of murdering Haider, and overnight she left, leaving behind her family, not wishing for them to be blamed and targeted because of her. Word spread that if she returned she was to be killed on sight, and those who aided her would suffer severe consequences.
News however travels fast, and soon enough Jaina found herself once more being accused of a murder she hadn't actually committed. Since there was no actual proof of what had happened, it was decided that she would not be jailed or executed, but she was however banished from staying in the North.
Motivation
Jaina can't go back to her family nor can she stay in the north, not unless she wants to lose her life or the ones of people she actually cares about. Knowing only the life of a mercenary, there isn't much else she can think of perusing now with options closing off to her because of a false accusation. At least with like minded people, she knows where she stands.

Jaina aka Jai
Ra’sheek | 30 | Female
Appearance
Standing at 5'1, Jaina is a rather small individual, even among those of her own tribe. She has a lithe yet strong body, honed from years of living on the go with her mercenary rag tag family. Her skin is olive toned, sprinkled with light freckles from being out in the sun more often than not. Her long black hair has a brownish sheen under the light, once again from continuously being under the desert sun. Her face is surprisingly scarless, sporting dark brown eyes resting beneath long dark eyebrows, a straight thin nose and full dark lips.
Most noticeable on her, however, is the tattooed lotus on her forehead. Often mistaken from far to be henna, it is a permanent mark on her otherwise flawless visage.

Personality
At first glance, one would see a serious and perhaps unapproachable looking sort of person, which would come as no surprised since Jaina grew up as a mercenary who had to keep her wits about and look at strangers with narrowed eyes, not just for her own survival but those she was taking gold from to protect. Some may call her a rather paranoid individual, but she likes to describe herself as cautious and careful, unwilling to stray too far from the line unless she is forced to.
She is quite tough and hardworking; once she is given a mission or an objective of any sort and has agreed to complete it, she will make sure to get the job done. If there are hurdles in the way, her stubbornness will not allow her to quit; she will find some other way to complete her tasks. That being said, money is not always the motivator for the Ra’sheek mercenary. While she likes being paid, she has a conscience of what is morally right and wrong, and there are some lines she will not cross, no matter the amount of gold.
Once a person actually takes time to get to know her however, Jaina is actually a friendly individual who enjoys stories and jokes as much as the next person. Still a quiet sort, she is more a listener than talker, though surprising people with the occasional dry humour. When she grows to like a person, she finds herself to be rather loyal and protective of them, and will stop at no end to keep them safe from any sort of harm, be it physical or mental.
