@Argetlam350 Count me in if you do end up restarting!
Taurus Altobelli, The Winter Carnival
Interactions: August Weiss, Melanie Rose Pourri

Taurus tucked his handkerchief back into his pocket without fuss; it was what they were made for after all.

”Taurus Altobelli, it’s an absolute pleasure to meet you, Miss Melanie.” He introduced himself, beaming down at the young skunk. He raised up to his feet again, casting a quick glance over at August as Melanie made to leave. ”Wait a moment, let us escort you. Wouldn’t want you falling victim to more cables now.” He chuckled softly, noticing the nervous looks the skunk was giving to her surroundings and he couldn’t say he blamed her.

He was glad he had his height as an advantage at least.

He unwrapped the scarf from his neck and folded it twice before draping it around Melanie’s shoulders. He would have offered his coat but it would have all but swallowed her. ”Lead the way, it’s just up ahead I believe.” He smiled, reaching out to briefly rest a hand on the small of August’s back.

”Coming?” He asked his companion, tilting his head slightly. ”I’ll find you something to eat soon, I’m sure there’s something up ahead here anyway.” He gave August an apologetic smile, having gotten quite sidetracked from their original plans.
Alonzo gave NatJack a smile, making a mental note to go and find her later on. He personally couldn’t remember having a dream about his powers - although it could have been something more obscure and less obvious than simply a dream about lavender. He’d have to think a bit more.

He listened as the options were read out over the speaker system, snorting slightly. No way was he going to stay holed up inside when the area was so beautiful and full of inspiration. He cringed a little at the nickname but didn’t say anything - it was hardly the worst one that he’d picked up over the years.

”Of course, you really think I’m gonna sit in here and be bored to tears by these guys? I don’t need to listen to some people with a saviour complex.” He grinned at Conner. ”I need to change though, I’m boiling already. Plus I need to figure out how to prove this essence so I can get the money back.” He hummed, following Conner back through to the cabin.

He swapped his sweatshirt for a loose turquoise button-up shirt and his jeans for a pair of stone coloured shorts - hoping that the trail wouldn’t be too taxing on his trainers since he hadn’t brought any other shoes. He debated for a few minutes before slipping his small travel watercolour tin into his back pocket, along with a tiny sketchpad and a pencil behind his ear. Alonzo made his way back out, now a much more comfortable temperature as he glanced around, trying to pick out a BioTech employee among the swathes of people outside. He joined one of the lines of people that looked like they were showing off their powers and essences - wracking his brain for how he could demonstrate his own without someone getting hurt on purpose, just for him to heal them again.

He let out a frustrated huff and after a quick word to the guy behind him to ”Save my spot? Pleeease? he wandered off in search of someone. He spotted a familiar face in the crowds, his dog as adorable as this morning, along with two people he didn’t recognise, probably from their cabin.

“Dumb question, any chance that Mara has zapped you again? I really need to prove this power to the BioTech guys to get my cash back and unfortunately, the stupid thing doesn’t work on myself.” He turned his attention to the two others that had been stood with Ryker. “Alonzo, healing lavender powers - have anything I can fix for you?” Alonzo offered a slightly strained grin, aware of the time slipping away and really not wanting to be late to the hike.
Alonzo gave Connor a brief smile before he started speaking. At least he wasn’t going to be alone stuck with complete strangers - although they had only known each other a matter of hours. He half listened as Connor spoke, eyes flicking around the group to gauge the reactions of everyone else as he announced his sexuality to everyone.

He had more nerve than Alonzo did.

His eyes drifted to the young woman next in the circle, who seemed to be paying the pair of them more attention than anyone else in the cabin. He offered her a hesitant, but genuine, smile. Alonzo wasn’t about to admit that he was slightly intimidated; Natalie, as she introduced herself, was only slightly taller than he was but looked as though she could snap him like a twig without a second thought.

”Soybeans?” He murmured, trying to rack his brain for anything related to soybeans but all he could think of was soy milk - and he had no idea how that could translate itself into a power.

”Maybe your dream had some sort of clue as to what your powers could be? Or maybe even how to kickstart them?” He asked; his curiosity piqued.
@Crystal Amalgam Maybe have Ike in the black market with Tholo and Silas?
Alonzo checked himself in before making his way through to the conference hall, making a mental note that he was in Cabin 5 - halfways between them all. Easy enough to remember.

He made his way trough to the conference hall, picking a seat on the edge of the room and taking out a spare notebook and pen - he suffered from claustrophobia so being on an edge made him feel a touch more comfortable than cramped in crammed in next to people on either side. Not to mention the air conditioning was a welcome relief from the heat outside. He was going to have to change out of his hoodie at this rate. He was sure he packed some shorts somewhere…

He was drawn out of his head by the stage lighting up and the room dimming, a woman starting to talk about the whole reason behind the conference. If he was honest, he tuned out most of it. He wasn’t exactly interested in the science behind it all - he just wanted to speak to some actual real people who also had to deal with this new ability.

He blinked out of the daze he’d slipped into, glancing down at the double page spread of crappy little doodles he’d drawn while the pair had been rambling. He shut the notebook and shoved the pen behind his ear as he stood and gathered up his bag once again, giving Mara a small wave as he headed off in the direction of cabin… 5.

”Halfways between.” He mumbled under his breath, joining the steadily forming circle. There were quite a few other guys from what he could see.

He hoped he wasn’t about to get hate crimed- he wasn’t exactly the straightest looking person…

He was second in line, once the first guy had said his bit - Daniel or something or other… he hadn’t been paying too much attention - he could pipe up and introduce himself.

”Uh, hi. Alonzo Solandis, I’m from near here, no where really exciting.” He shrugged a little, giving a slightly sheepish smile. ”I have a lavender essence, if you couldn’t smell that already, and I’m an artist. I specialise in watercolour and oils but dabble in everything.” He smiled, glancing expectedly at the person beside him.
Silas Moore, The Black Market
Interactions: Tholo Whitlock

Silas was no stranger to the dark underbelly of the city where the criminals made their home - and their living.

The tiger had urges, afterall.

Ones that got him into trouble when they weren’t kept under control.

The paparazzi knew better than to follow him here - besides the fact he kept their pockets lined handsomely for their silence - they’d be robbed blind of both their belongings and their dignity before they could set foot off the main path. Not that people didn’t know him of course - they’d rather ignore the fact that their designer clothes came from a predator who had done more than his fair share of doing peoples dirty work. It was how he’d first made his money - selling fine furs on the street corners with a vague wave of his hand when asked where (or rather, who) they came from.

”I didn’t expect to see you back here, old timer. Being someone’s dogsbody again? Running around after misbehaving pups?” Silas snorted, crunching down on the delicate leg bone held in his paw. He surveyed the scene inside the run down building over Tholo’s shoulder, nose wrinkled at the stench. ”Pathetic, aren’t they? Rubbed everyone up the wrong way now look at them. They should have learnt their lesson the first one that got picked off.” He hummed, stepping back again, carefully as to avoid the debris and the other questionable… fluids on the floor.

”Happened three, maybe four days ago. Couldn’t tell you who did it, though.” He chuckled nonchalantly, licking his fingers clean of fat from his snack.

Taurus was deep in conversation with August when his ears swivelled at the sound of a yelp and a thud. It took a couple of moments of him glancing around to realise where the noise had come from; eyes finally resting on the skunk at his feet. One of the downfalls of being so tall was that most others were out of his immediate eyeline.

”Oh my dear there’s no need to apologise. Are you alright?” Taurus assured and crouched down, snagging the glasses next to his hoof that he assumed belonged to the young girl. He cleaned them on the edge of his scarf, inspecting them for damage before passing them over. ”They don’t seem to be damaged, thankfully, maybe a little scratched. That was quite a fall - though someone should really move that cable.” He hummed, offering out one hand to help her out of the snow while the other searched in his pockets for a handkerchief.

His fingers closed around the square of forest green fabric and he passed it over, ”Clean up your paws, I’m sure we can find a first aid tent around here somewhere if needs be?” Taurus lifted himself up and brushed the snow from his trousers and the hem of his coat, one hand instinctively shooting out as someone else nearly tripped over the skunk, although it seemed as though the feline righted himself quickly without too much spilling of his drink.

”Careful, watch your step. Hope you haven’t burned yourself?” He warned, tilting his shaggy head.

@Dark Cloud @LostButterfly92 @vertigh0st
@Dark CloudI find it a lot easier - especially with a new character!
@Dark Cloud I’m sure it would be chill if you left the personality blank for now - or just a few sentences or whatever and then just figure it out as you rp?

That’s what I tend to do most of the time - do a very basic one for the CS then flesh it all out as it goes along!
