Taka Keone
"Getting lost just means you need to learn to find yourself"
Name:
Taka Keone
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
A piercing apathetic look greets enemies and allies alike. He has a pony-tailed long blonde hair, accompanied by a black tank top and the loose bottom half of a Gi. As for his defence, a light steel plate on both his elbows and lower leg proves to be a good balance between armour and mobility. Finally, once he extends his soul out of his body, it takes on an orange persona and forms a thin layer of focused energy around his body with a few spots leaking out said energy.
Personality:
This guy is straightforward and strong willed. He doesn't like to back out of fights and always looks up to challengers. Although inside he's soft and just wants to belong somewhere, he hides that deep beneath his facade. [tbh i gave up with this one]
Background:
A beginning shrouded in mystery, Taka first appeared as a beggar boy on the streets of a mutant city with no one to call family. The streets were cruel and unforgiving. He would be lucky to even gain a single penny in a days worth of begging. Yet, not for the city's fault, as itself was left by humanity. A child surrounded by hardship, incubated by hatred and torn apart by fear, the perfect recipe for disaster. However his deep seethed rage turned to determination. Did he do it From desperation, instincts, or maybe even will? Nobody knows. Whats for certain is that the pain he's been through, only made him and his will stronger.
That determination turned from a spark to a blaze. Which brought upon hope which then turned to ambition. The ambition to be able to make a change, the ambition to feel belonged, the ambition for equality all strived the beggar boy to be accepted into the fiercest rebellion against mutant discrimination.
Ability:
Soulbender:
A mutation with a recessive trait, giving the user an adept connection with the souls of living beings. Several perks, both for utility and offensive means, come with this mutation. For example, Taka's soul can be extended out of his body and becomes manifested as a spiritual attack, one that does no physical damage, yet still causes pain and damages the enemies mental health. Or the ability to enter and attach himself into an unconscious living being's soul and understand their conflicts and emotions. Theese are only a few of the things that he can do with his mutation, and there will be more as he grows.
However, these abilities seem to conflict with Taka's character as he is still unable to achieve his inner-peace which hinders his mutation's performance. Not to mention, his shallow care for souls and character in general worsens the problem.
