i could see that making Velan dress better would be a hassle he is a practical Bosmer also i could see Velan giving advice as well he is older then most of the group and is a master hunter so helping the group survive the harsh wilds, scouting gathering food and navigating. all thing he could do if he can be more comfortable with the group.

Velan cracked a small smile he was at ease with a fellow mer though he had only known a handful of Dunmer he still felt some kinship. " well that's ominousness...the harbinger is not one to just disappear he hardly left whiterun since i joined." He mused,

Biography (Optional): Velan Grew up in the Grand forest of Valenwood in a small village with in the trees where his learned to hunt to shoot a bow and to survive. His childhood was relativity peaceful as he was mostly isolated from the outside world. He knew the laws and
customs of his people and was satisfied. He was even sweet on a girl named Karlia. To impress her he strove to be a master of the bow he trained until it was apart of him not just a tool. He even became a Hunter of his village it was about this time that the Bosmer felt the full weight of their compact with the Aldmeri dominion. Stories of village leader who spoke anything but loyalty to the Dominion being culled villages burned spread. Velan's father was deeply convicted to the old ways of the Bosmer would speak out against the Altmer who would dare harm the green of the land. which he saw as an affront to the Green Pact this would bring the wraith of the Thalmor. Velan who was on a hunt to win the hand of his love on his return his village lay burn and ravaged his friends, family everyone
gone. the only thing he could salvage was a pendent the last reminder of his home fearing his life he left his home and went as far north as he could go settling in skyrim hoping to forget his pain he joined the Companions to fill of void of kinship.

Relationships: Velan is mostly shy with the Races of man and beast and has a hate for Altmer so he mostly finds company with Elrindir and Anoriath as they are also Bosmer in fact he keeps a room in the drunken huntsman.

Velan thew his bow over his shoulder as he made his way to Jorvaskr. he whistled a soft tune to himself as he walked past the market place. Up the stairs into the wind district the Hall lay in front of him to Velan no Nord architecture could match the beauty of his home but alas this was home now. Velan looked over his shoulder for a moment to the tree which stood proudly in the district.
A smile formed on his face " Grow strong and wise" he said softly something his father used to say to him.
