Mind if I make another psyker?

Name: Sten Revna

Gender: Male

Age: 35

Appearance:

Equipment:
Standard Imperial Guard Flak Armor
Force staff
Laspistol, two extra clips
Psy focus (Imperial Guard ID tags, charred beyond recognition)
Lho-stick case.
Psykana Temple robes
Psychic cowl (the implants on the back of his head, a more primitive version of a psychic hood)

Personality: Sten was once very outgoing and friendly, but the discovery of his psyker talents has changed him. He is now deadly serious and rarely smiles. He enjoys lho sticks and will smoke them when he is concerned or uneasy, saying that it helps focus and relax his mind. When in battle, he is often filled with rage, which fuels his psychic techniques, though the source of his anger is primarily self-loathing. He is, at his core, ashamed of his psychic talents and is burdened by guilt.

History: Sten and his brother joined the Imperial Guard together when they turned 18 and served in the 27th Kaviskr Shock Troopers. Sten was promoted to Sergeant for his ability to quickly grasp a situation. He and his brother served in the same squad. No one seemed to question that their sergeant's hunches were often right, but when his hunches became more and more eerily accurate, they bean to worry, especially his brother. No one knows exactly what happened, but one day, a freak firestorm engulfed Sten's entire squad. He miraculously crawled out unharmed, and surrendered himself as a psyker. He soon found himself in the employ of the Inquisition due to his uncommon level of psychic control and his powerful abilities.

Position in Retinue: Sten is adept at precognition techniques, such as reading the Emperor's Tarot, and is a potent Pyrokine. Also, as a former Gunnery Sergeant, he knows his munitions and wargear, and serves a secondary role as armorer.

Psychic Abilities: Sten is able to predict the future, though only with a great deal of focus and concentration, and usually only through vague symbolism. He also possesses potent pyrokinetic powers, often turning himself into a walking firestorm during combat. His psyker abilities have been classified as Beta Level.
Well, there are tents among the supplies. I think we can say that we scrap an extra one for rope or rope-like materiel. Or that there's a big coil of climbing rope in the life-pod. Or both.
Lets just assume you have everything needed to finish the raft, and overlook this glaring plot hole. :P
I'm not too much a fan of Space Marines, but this has caught my interest. Assuming this interest check is still viable.
This is something I'd like to get in on. Mind if I play a psyker too?

And though I don't play the game (anymore), I love the universe.
Favorite Pirate: Blackbeard. He actually did this kinda stuff simply to build up a fearsome reputation, so that he didn't have to kill anybody to get what he wanted. The clip is from AC4.

Also, can I just make up other island names as we go, if only for the sake of lyric-changing? Most of the songs Ray is singing are re-worded versions of all those pirate songs I provided. The only two islands I knew were Hara (where we just came from) and Lendria (Ray's home island), and I was worried making up a new Island (Ventra) was stepping on the toes of Aki's idea of the world.
I would have posted sooner, but I always seem to check the site when its down.
"Enough! As the highest ranking Inquisitorial agent here, I will be issuing orders and punishments. Now, seeing as this situation does not fall fully within my area of expertise, I am open to suggestions. However, I am accustomed to being given proper deference to my position. Those who don't are usually the ones I am sent to kill." He left the threat hang in the air before continuing.

"I have taken the suggestion of splitting up under advisement, and find that it may be a better decision. We will split into two groups. The first group will be lead by Gaius; as he is the second highest ranking Inquisitorial agent here, respect his authority as if it were mine. Sergeant Adrian, Lieutenant Igam, Commissar Klemper and Corporal Yeshada will go with him. You will scout the western island village. Nothing too fancy, just recon it, see if its inhabited and who by. The map's census reports are about a century out of date, so we need fresh intel if we can continue. Take the vox-caster and the magnoculars with you. We will be able to stay in contact with you once we reclaim the listening post. Try to avoid conflict and detection. All we need is a little information. Going by the group that attacked us, I somehow doubt that the village is sympathetic to Imperial Law. Once you complete your objective, vox us and we'll send the raft over to the eastern coast here." Ray indicated a point on the map. "We can recon the north village tomorrow, and hopefully know a bit more on what to expect.

"The second group will consist of me, Techpriest Honoria, Grav and Trooper Radclyffe. We will take the raft and the supplies and set up base at the listening post."

That should separate most of the troublemakers. Ray thought. His gaze rested on Trooper Radclyffe. Could she really be...? Igam was clearly disturbed by her presence. He would have to keep them apart.
Concerning my latest post, the song Ray sings is to the tune of this. I modified the words a bit so it would fit the RP world better. In our RP world, I'm saying that its an old Lendrian Navy shanty. Ventra is a major Navy port and Vrelance Keep, also known as 'the Lance' is the fortress overseeing Lendria Island's main port.

I like making up background information like this. It adds a level of depth to the world.

On the topic of Pirates of the Caribbean, I liked the first and the fourth, the other two were confusing.

On a completely unrelated note, Mizos, is your avatar of Jin from Samurai Champloo? Cuz I love that anime.
Once Ray was satisfied the Captain was going to be okay, he sat down and sighed contentedly. They had quite the adventure at the port of Hara, and no one was seriously hurt. He normally would be rather sore at the severe lack of tact in the crew's dealings at the port to result in the kind of mess they had just gotten out of, but the buzz of the alcohol gave everything an entertaining atmosphere. He chuckled to himself, Is this the life of a Pirate? If so, I really could grow to enjoy it. This is so much more stimulating than Lendrian high society. He looked around and took in the scene, Nolan tending to Captain Runali, the girl who saved his life that fateful evening, asking for a song to sail off to, and the rest of the crew looking at him expectantly. Ray couldn't help but feel the song welling up and out his throat.

"Farewell and adieu to you, Haran Ladies,
Farewell and adieu to you, ladies of Hara;
For we've received orders for to sail for old Lendr'a
And we may never see you fair ladies again.

We will rant and we'll roar like true Lendr'an sailors,
We'll rant and we'll roar all on the salt seas
Until we strike soundings in the Shadow of the Old Lance;
From Ventra to Vrelance is thirty-five leagues."
