Bio(Optional):
Gehrhart Keldran was once one of the most respected knights in service of the emperor and was considered a shoe in for a position in the Bornia back in his prime. But when the promotion never came he continued on serving as a simple knight until a string of incidents befell him. The first was the sudden death of his senior commander an ancient man that had not been long for the world. Naturally eyes turned to Gehrhart as his replacement but then the second of the events happened, a young knight barely out of his squire-ship and the sniveling pampered son of some noble received the position instead. Even in the face of this obvious corruption Gehrhart was determined to see his duties through when the final of these unfortunate events befell him. His new Knight-Commander was at best horribly incompetent and at worst a dispassionate killer in one major act of callous disregard for life he ordered the death of several innocent civilians because of suspected relation to rebels.
When word of the massacre got out the Knight-Commander sought a way to save himself and so blamed the whole ordeal on Gehrhart who was arrested tried and punished with public disgrace and loss of title and all properties he had owned. Hundreds had watched as the old man stood before his Knight-Commander and was stripped of his cloak, a symbol of his office and had his shield taken as a symbol of his knighthood. Hundreds watched as the cloak was burned and a smith, hammer and chisel in hand, removed the royal seal from his shield. His humiliation complete Gehrhart rode out of the town armor, horse, sword and shield all he owned in the world eventually meeting Kurokuma and joining the group.
Other: Gehrhart has a deep seated hatred of his old order and it is one of the few things that has been known to cause him to lose his usual restraint.
