Physical Description
Lucius is a tall and thin young man, and looks as if he's skipped several meals too many, as he has. His skin is ghostly pale, which is made further evident by his dark hair and unnaturally black eyes. Aside from the Spiral gauge in his right ear he wears very little jewelry, and his casual attire includes a classic pair of black doc-martins, skinny jeans in varying shades of black, black t-shirts which often feature monochromatic designs or imagery, and an incredibly thin, loose-fitting black jacket.
Personality
Lucius is a stern, stoic young man, who's gaze often gives others the impression that their worth is being weighed, like he was placing them on a scale. In sincerity, he is. Lucius has always been a keen judge of character, although he isn't foolish enough to put his faith entirely on instinctual whims. Despite his permanent scowl and the tense air around him, he is surprisingly altruistic towards those who reach his standards, but those who do not are met with apathy at best, and cruelty at worst, however it is rare he will express open hostility.
In addition to his disposition towards others, he seems to carry an air of responsibility, as if he thought the weight of the world rested atop his shoulders. He does little in the way of social activity outside of school, and as such may often come off as unapproachable. He refuses to step out of his comfort zone, which covers most activities that occur outside of the classroom. He does however tend to have top marks in the majority of his classes, which has lead more patient, or forgiving, individuals to ask for his tutoring, which is something he will gladly provide.
There is no denying that Lucius may be rough around the edges, but while cold, his heart is a good one.

Backstory
Lucius was a single child, born to a family of extremely old money, and an abundance of it. His family's vast wealth came from his mother's side of the family, however despite the enormous allowance gifted by her father, Lucius's grandfather, she is entirely disconnected from her family. Prior to Lucius's birth, his mother, Rebecca, fell in love with a musician; her father, Nicodemus, absolutely refused to allow this relationship.
Despite his protests, Rebecca ran off with her newfound lover, Zachary, to start a life together. Naturally outraged, Nicodemus cut her off from the family's money entirely, until he discovered he was to become a grandfather. He wouldn't allow his grandson to starve on a musician's budget, (a ridiculous claim, as Zachary was a concert pianist while they lived in Scarsdale New York) and continued the family allowance.
For a time, things went well. Lucius grew up spoiled, Rebecca and her father's relationship healed, and Nicodemus began to accept Zachary as her daughters husband. However, as all good things do, this ended shortly after Lucius's eighth birthday, when his mother was diagnosed with PNET. It began with nausea, accompanied by occasional vommiting, headaches, and insomnia, but quickly developed into seizures, massive personality changes and a drastic loss in weight. By his tenth birthday she was unable to work, by his tenth she was entirely bed ridden, by his twelfth she spent more time in the hospital than at home, and a mere month after he had become a teenager, his mother passed away.
By the time his father followed three years after, Lucius had become a somber, stern teenager. His father had struggled greatly with his depression for his entire life, and although no one said so aloud, they were all proud of him for holding out those three years. However, his father's suicide left Lucius an orphan, and he was adopted by his Grandfather Nicodemus, who had retired in the small town of Rose Beach Delaware. After half a year of at home education, which Nicodemus hired a (completely unnecessary) private tutor for, Lucius is to begin his senior year at RBHS.
While Lucius had always been a sullen, quiet young man, following the death of his father he began to isolate himself from the world even further, an act Nicodemus believes to be part of the grieving process. The truth is however, that Lucius had began to feel something rise from within him, something old and powerful. Something that brought about great changes to Lucius's understanding of reality. Visions and dreams of ancient myths, voices and specters that haunt him endlessly, powers and abilities that shouldn't be possible.
In this small town, in the home of an estranged grandfather and his grandson, a god is awakening.
