Current I am bad, and that is good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There is no-one I'd rather be, but me.

Well as for my reason as to making it both a civi spec, and a Combat Spec, is because there is literally a field difference between Civi Medical training, and Combat Medical Training. Someone who hasn't had specific Combat Medical training isn't actually qualified or certified to work as combat medical, or even preform medical procedures on the move or in the field. Plus, the emphasis on being a medic is a key trait to several situation undisclosed within his biography.

Ach... My phrasing has let me down... Disregard what i said. Its not that important anyway. I was addressing Incubis really.
Just noticed u had medical written down as a combat specialisation too. O.O my bad. as that was an element of his civilian job that would be part of his civilian specialisation freeing you up to take more combat focussed combat specialisations.

Not gunna press you to change the medical specialisation as I understand with 8 other characters it is hard to find an unused specialisation (and I did approve the character). Traditionally two medics is good practice anyway as if there is only one medic and he/she is injured then the team is screwed. Up to u. Feel free to post IC regardless as hopefully it shouldn't be needed straight away anyhow. If u do decide to change specialisation and are having a hard time figuring it out I am sure everyone here would be happy to provide ideas and act as a sounding board.

Both of you have my apologies.
Character accepted! Feel free to post him in the OOC and introduce him IC.
It amuses me we were within like 200meters of one another then.

Posted! How fast do you guys wanna move? I figure the journey and the church might be a good time for a little character interaction so I haven't detailed the journey yet or the arrival. If prefered i can do that though.
(When I counted characters IC I have counted two players who have yet to post IC)

Roughly fifteen minutes late the church priest took to the podium after having engaged in what appeared to be somewhat important discussions with a small procession of folk, mostly elderly people. He opened with the obligatory blessing and prayer before immediately launching into the community announcements and advice that comprised all of the session bar the last fifteen minutes.

"...Audrey and Thomas have kindly made a bed at their home open although they will not be offering food... The burning of property in public areas is a hazard and must desist immediately... The vestry remains open open for those who need a place to sleep overnight however due to the number of violent dissidents outside the doors must be closed by nightfall."

Much of the advice provided was inaccurate but good natured in its delivery. Predictably the service was scattered with bible references and he finished with two hymns, several prayers and the blessing of the flock. When the service did end the hall emptied with surprising speed, presumably due to the rations of food that were being distributed at the door. A couple of people loitered a little longer to talk to the priest or to drop a couple of donations on the massively diminished rations pile but soon the room was empty aside from the priest and the agents. The priest promptly fell asleep in one of the back pews. The groups AR systems jumped into life simultaneously as Alan addressed the group.

"I'm glad the nine of you have managed to find one another. Take a look around and get familiar. These are the faces you will be working with for the foreseeable future, discounting the priest in the back of course." Alan paused for a moment for people to comply before continuing. "Your first objective is 5 miles north of here and as per last time, you will be provided directions at the end of this call. As I am sure you are aware electronics have been mostly disabled. I can confirm this seems to be the case on a global scale. The running theory in term of cause is some kind of EMP as this cause conforms to the symptoms we are experiencing and explains why some tech is still working. Unfortunately the incident has damaged generators and thus, eliminated the national power grid. This is where your first mission comes into play." Another pause to allow the information to sink in.

"Five miles north of you is a solar tower responsible for powering several of the areas most crucial assets including hospitals and airbases, the former of which could be crucial to our defence should someone try to take advantage of the situation. British authorities want to send in a team of engineers to analyse the damage and fix the generator. Trouble is the tower is occupied and its occupants aren't budging. We need you to get a man inside and to keep him there. Streaming you directions and some details now. From now on I will be closely monitoring your progress and available instantly should you require additional information."

As promised the AR systems start to fill with information once more and the thread appears once more in the air.
There is a plot planned... *fades into the mist waving hands mysteriously*

I am genuinely writing up the post, honest! I am also looking at the very church this is set in as I type. If i don't get the post done this breaktime I will take a tour around in the church for accuracy then post from the town centre. I am very disappointed in myself for being one of slowest posters in my own setting... Usually i am much faster than this to reply. Not gunna make any excuses.
I like the concept aside from the sub dermal thing. A pair of gloves perhaps or some kind of handheld device?
If desired you could take that as normal gear. When i had been thinking gadget I had been thinking more techy. Hardwired gear would still work.
Looks good. your character is approved.

I can see you've put a lot of thought into his background. If there is anything more to it you've thought of please tell me by pm cause i see opportunities to integrate it into the plot.

Just thought I'd mention and ask some things about the gadgets. Firstly. What is a seagrave axe? Secondly i think someone already took a lockpick as their main gadget. Might be an idea to change that one so theres no clashing.
Hmmm... Oliver didn't notive ashers wolf whistle right next to him...
Ah well i guess.
