Dura chuckled internally at the cat's conflict. Clearly it wasn't sure whether to stay or flee, wasn't quite sure if it's attempt to pass off what it had done worked or not. Dura gave no sign of whether it did or not show on her face, though she wasn't fooled. However the cat interested because the magic, and she liked things that caught her interest. When the cat got close, she offered and outstretched palm and lowered arm to it, so it could climb up her if it wanted to. After all, lots of warm furs on her armor, and warm, even in a room warmed by a fire, was nice when a blizzard like that was going on outside.
Dura didn't make a sign that she saw the cat cast the rune, though it mildly amused her. Magic cats, what's next in store for her. Rather, the woman took another drink of her flagon and the bent down to tap the floor in the way one does to attract a cat's attention to try to get them over to you. She was curious about the cat, it again being the most interesting thing in the room. Besides, she wanted to see how the cat would react to her act. one of her thoughts showed on her face, her expression unchanged from before. After all, the predator does not give itself away to prey.
In the corner of the inn's main room, seated with her back to the wall and draped in a heavy mix of armors and furs, was Dura gra-Shurk. The orc woman passively watched the crowd as they came and went, ate and partied. Her mask was off, lying on the table next to her, as she nursed a flagon of mead slowly. She always found it enjoyable to take her time, for time is a luxury that she has been able to enjoy plenty. She yawned and swept her vision across the room again. The cat was probably the most interesting thing there. In the times she's traveled in Skyrim, cats have always been a rare sight. Minor as it was, it was the most unusual thing here and that was about the only reason why she watched it as it moved between patrons. And besides, even with sensation of cold diminished by her vampiric nature, it was warm in the inn and the mead was good. She could afford to wait a bit longer before starting the climb to Hrothgar.
Actually, I looked it up before putting it down. Dragonlings are a separate species of creature than dragons.
Man, I've been out of the Text RP game for a while. Still in progress

Name: Dura gra-Shurk
Age: 174
Race: Orc Vampire
Class: Wandering Spellsword
(2H, HA, Arc, Des, Ench, Alc)
Appearance: Clicky!
Personality: Dura is....quiet. Laconic, even. During the day, it's because she's tired. Dura sleeps little enough that she comes across less as a vampire and more as a severe insomniac, eventually just collapsing into a deep slumber every few days. During the night, it's because she's quiet in general. Dura may not talk much, but when she does, she makes sure her voice is heard clearly, even through the mask. Great pains are taken by her to not reveal her vampiric nature, as to avoid being hunted by the Dawnguard and other vampire hunters. As such, personal questions are deflected through silence and care is maintained to not show fangs.
Bio: ((Doesn't have to be super in depth, just state why your character joined, basic backstory, aspirations, etc.))
Equipment: As visible in the picture, the armor is a big mix-match of bits and bobs due to Dura needing to carry lots of things as she travels. And just about all of it is covered in protective enchantments, especially towards fire. The skull is from a dragonling that she slew over a decade ago. Pouches carry everything from Soul Gems of varying sizes to alchemic regents. The small troll skull is from the body of a young troll that she struck down before it had a chance to grow into a menace. Bones are from various skeletons dismembered in the processing of helping to clear crypts.
Dura's weapons are Blackhollow, an ebony battleaxe that is enchanted with an unnaturally sharp edge, and Gravefinger, a crossbow enchanted so that bolts fired from it chill their targets, slowing them down. If she's caught up close while using the crossbow, she'll start pelting things with ice and fire, her preferred elements since the Vampiric Drain is a bit of a giveaway.
Other: She does remove the mask to eat, but that's about the only time.
Apologies for the wait, folks. Vor's been kinda blindsided by a sudden surge of irl busy-busy. He apologizes for the delay and is trying to find a chance to post the OOC.
We've got readily available muskets and single-shots. Rifled guns and revolvers are present, but are a bit less common currently, being relatively newer. Nothing close to full auto yet.
Manabolt weapons are guns that use bottled mana (your mana potion, basically) to allow the enhancing of rounds with fire/ice/air/energy. The standard Manabolt guns will simply add a basic effect to bullets depending on the element. Fire makes the bullet burn the contact area, ice will freeze the area around contact, air increases penetration, energy simply makes a small explosion on contact. The bottled mana isn't necessary to fire the gun, only for the effects. Standard Manabolt pistols and rifles are usable by anyone trained in how to use normal pistols and rifles and can generally found in most weapon stores, commanding a higher price tag compared to usual pistols and rifles due to a more expensive construction and being Mekhanism products, which denotes a quality build. Now, if you want a custom Manabolt weapon, these have to be custom requested at an Institution campus directly and command a much higher price tag. Mira Ackov, for example, has a pair of pistols which can combine the Ice and Energy settings to create bursts of ice on impact, to give you an idea.
It's drawn some influence from it, yes.

We did attempt a Forgotten Realms RP a while back that sorta crash and burned due to lack of interest.
We've got humans, dwarves, various elf types, Vampyres, dragonkin (don't quite remember the special of those), and well, anything submitted to us that we feel is good.

Niverin is just one land in its world. There could be other races out there.
