When you become an adult, people stop asking which dinosaur is your favourite. It's like they don't even care anymore.

Yes, that is entirely accurate, I will play in the game just like any other player. The rule about having the next poster decide was born from a wish to play a game like this, but not have to answer for the whole world. Instead everyone is a little bit of a GM and to be fair, if the whole group chips in and offers up their creativity it should be a far sight better than if just one guy was in charge of it all.
I guess you could say that it is the story, the adventure, that is the main part of the game, which is a bit uncommon as many PbP-rps focus heavily on the characters. So I know it's something of a challenge for people, but that's what roleplaying is all about. For me at least.
@Shoryu Magami Welcome!
It is nice to see an advanced writer writer around here. I believe that you could really bring something to the game.
The light hearted vibe of the game is kind of the basis of it all, which is why I've chosen to have the characters portrayed as stereotypes instead of actual, developed characters with goals, backstories and stuff like that. If things goes out of control it shouldn't happen to characters that we actually care about. This is Trine, not Skyrim after all.

I see what you're saying about the trolling, and unfortunately there is very little to actually, practically do about that. We should all be familiar with the character that we're writing results for. We'll use a posting order, so it'll always be the same one. Both failure and success is supposed to bring the story forward, sometimes success isn't the most interesting thing that can happen. Sure, sometimes we'll fail for no reason at all, but sometimes we succeed with that one-in-a-million thing. If someone really goes into this and only writes failures all the time it won't just hurt that character or player, but the whole game, so that kind of behaviour will get both boring and obvious really fast and can be dealt with if there is a need. We're supposed to have fun here after all.
I'll just get the ball rolling then...

I added sex to the list, might be useful.
I am also still alive.

I know you've said no CS's but just to keep track of people/NPCs I put this little thing together:

I think that covers the important parts, and it will help us remember characters without going through the whole IC.
Still looking for players. Link to OOC: roleplayerguild.com/topics/152113-hero..
Inspired by games like Trine, Magica and several “choose your adventure”-books I suggest a premise for a game.
I’m looking for a few players who will take up arms with me as one of the “archetypes” of the fantasy genre. As such, please leave the realism at the door. The characters should be based on stereotypes or “tropes” that are easily recognised and played with.
Together we will go on an adventure through a fantasy world where nothing is decided beforehand. We will develop the world around us as we explore and experience it and all of its dangerous inhabitants.

This will not be as easy as it sounds though, to play you must:
Accept that your character can and will fail, and use this as a tool to create a more interesting story.
Be able to produce around two paragraphs of text per post (This means both “no one-liners” and “no wall of text”).
Be able to push the story forward with every post.
Accept what is happening to the world, situation and your character.

Important info for everyone!

I've had a thought about posting length and arrived at the conclusion that it is suboptimal. The rules states two paragraphs of text per post, I believe that three paragraphs will be better suited for this game, and it will make things a lot clearer.
In each post we will not only have to react to whatever has happened since our last post and write out what we want to do next, we also have to resolve whatever actions the guy before us wants to do, in two paragraphs it will get messy.
With three paragraphs to work with a post may look like this:

§1: Results of previous poster's actions. This way the player won't have to read the entire post to figure out what happened or if it is irrelevant to their own character.
§2: Reaction to what has happened, new info, actions, thoughts, feelings... You get the drill.
§3: Declaration of next course of action. This is what the next poster will need to resolve.
(At the end of your last paragraph, please use the mention function to let the next guy know it is time to post.)

And it just hit me that most people might not be familiar with the concept of choose-your-own-adventure books. The idea is quite simple. After a brief introduction the reader (player, adventurer) is given a few choices as to how the adventure will continue, the choice will take the reader to a new page of the book and a short text about what happens next, followed by a few new choices. For you convenience I have tracked down a somewhat known duo known on youtube as Simon and Lewis from Yogscast, as they play one of these adventures: House of hell

Alright. That’s about it. Any thoughts?

@JolentaI'm always up for a good Naruto-game and this seems pretty interesting. Oh yeah, questions:

I get the setting, the time and all that. But what is you take on abilities, if we start off at 14-16, that would be roughly chuunin-level in the series, but for us, where do we stand?

What is your take on the clans that we all know and love (and hate)? I mean, we know that they were around (at least some of them), any thoughts about playing an early clan member? Which ones would you either like to see or not like at all?

Other than playing a female, do you have any thoughts on your character? I'm asking because I would like to complement you as much as is reasonable, thus making us a good team.
That sounds like a good idea. A basic rundown about what technology looks like for us, what the aliens are and such things.
I'm thinking about creating a religious person as my first, basic pantheistic stuff, should be fun to explore.
