@PartisanExcept the whole trained-in-Kirigakure-before-it-got-fucked deal. If ya can't fight in the jutsu, you don't bother with it, and being trained to fight in it is probably bog-standard for shinobi from there (hopefully including Mikoto). Still worse for us against you specifically, but probably not as big of a deal as initially thought.

@PartisanDon't mean to double-post, but it still wouldn't explain the Kakashi vs Zabuza thing, because Kakashi would have done it against Zabuza. I'm willing to operate under the principle that it can be moved, just not as easily since it's still a jutsu; like giving yourself a larger range of vision, but not pushing the entire mist away.

@PartisanYeah, the whole "seeing chakra as colors" thing basically just makes the mist show up as a big wall of chakra. The Byakugan's field of vision probably just lets them see around/through the mist particles. So @Partisan will be able to see what's going on, and my character hasn't 100% noticed the Byakugan. And I'm assuming that @Tex will be able to find anyone if they're on his silver pool.

My memory on the details are a little fuzzy, but is -hiding in the mist technique- vulnerable to strong breezes/gusts?

I'm not sure; Kakashi never did anything like that in his fight against Zabuza, and I don't recall Madara doing it in his fight against the Kage after the Mizukage did it. And he had a big ol' fan. So either it can't be moved or they didn't bother for varying reasons.

Or I just don't remember the fights very well. It doesn't state one way or the other on the wiki.

Then, a strange mist caught Kaori's attention. With her sharingan, she could see chakra inside it, meaning that there were some shinobi inside it.

any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra — which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.

I don't know if you read the Hiding in Mist Technique but it says it blocks the Sharingan/Rinnegan, but not the Byakugan. You shouldn't be able to see inside with your Sharingan.

It's so strange to be RPing on a forum again. And with all of the long introductory posts combined with the multiple characters, my post feels so short in comparison. I just didn't want to add fluff, and it's difficult to make a long fighting post lest the sacred rule of "no autohitting" be challenged.
