Aya gives her a thumbs up. "You're most welcome. Consider a courtesy from your cute healer." she laughs and starts to tidy up, putting the antiseptic away. "Just don't go messing up my neat work. You know the drill - come see me if your shoulder starts feeling hot or painful." Aya hands Sacha her shirt. "You may as well put this back on for the moment."
"Aww, come on." Aya puts up her fists for a moment in a pose mocking a boxer, grinning cheekily. "Can't you see me going for a KO?" she laughs, and continues her work. "Be a big girl, Sacha. Better for it to sting now than to burn in a few days." She glances out of the tent at the mention of rain, but sees only grey clouds. "Mhm, I'll remind you. As long as you remember to keep this cut as dry as possible." she pats down the bandage, an adhesive one that would hold itself in place. "How's that feel?"
"If they walk in, they'll have me to deal with." It was a fairly empty threat, but Aya spoke it with a smile and confidence. "Oh yes, now that you mention it I need a raincoat... We should go shopping sometime." Aya suggests as she carefully disinfects the wound, thinking that the request sounded quite absurd in its plainness given their situation. She then applies the bandage over the cut.
Nadia picks her knife up slowly, and holds it defensively. Who knows what was between the trees, and she wasn't just going to sit there. Her gaze flitted to each seperate tree. Eventually she saw a figure through the undergrowth and narrowed her eyes. "Shifter?" She asks, gripping her knife tightly. Nadia knew how to handle herself if it came to a fight. She waited for a reply.

At the sight of Nadia standing up with her knife, Marik shifts to a human by reflex and steps out into the light, one hand just touching the blade of his scythe. "Well now, is that how you should address a stranger?" He searches her face and bows his head slightly in greeting. "I suppose it at least confirms you're not just some common traveller."

Sacha chuckles a bit, shaking her head at the praise. "I do what any of you would do in my situation..." she then smiles at the girl, before finding a cot to sit on. "Yes, please fix my shoulder for me."

Aya slips into her element in the tent, starting by cleaning away the dried blood from Sacha's wound and gently looking at the damage. "Hmm... It's not too deep or wide. I think you'll be fine without stitches." She pulls back and heads to her supply cabinet, grabbing out out a bandage and some antiseptic. "Take your shirt off, please." she requests.
"Wow Sacha..." Aya already deeply respected Sacha, but she suddenly felt a new-found appreciation for her leader. "That was so brave of you to take up those words, and then to teach yourself how to use a new weapon." she grins with determination. "I promise you, I'll do everything for the Rabins! Just like you do." She takes Sacha over to the medicine tent. "And I'll start by fixing up that wound, okay?"
Aya nods, grateful that Sacha will at least rest but understanding the need to keep up a duty. As they entered camp she kept thinking about what Sacha had said about her past as they enter the camp. "Hey, why did you stop being a brawler anyway? Did it have something to do with becoming leader?"
Aya shrugs, remembering what she knew of Sacha's past. "Hey, you were a brawler right? There's nothing wrong with taking a little time to pick up a different weapon. Claws are miles from a bow and arrow." she sighs, "I'm just sorry that it was your poor shoulder! That's going to make it harder for you to use your weapon for a little while." she briefly remembers the conversation she and Destin had about telling people to rest and gives her a stern but friendly smile. "Remember to actually rest, okay? Maybe take a couple of days off."
Aya breathes out, calming down and feeling surprised at Sacha's praise. "Oh... Thank you, Sacha." she smiles back. Her eyes are drawn to Sacha's wound again and she feels relieved that they are nearing the camp. "Do you want to talk about how that happened?" she tries to hide her curiosity, not wanting Sacha to feel forced into talking about it.
Aya blushes suddenly and turns with a touch of anger to Sacha. "Crushing!? I just met this boy! Who do you think I am, Sacha?" She matches Sacha's gaze coldly to cover up her embarrassment. The word sounded to her like Sacha thought her a child. "I am fully able to keep myself from seeing someone, as I have promised. I only ask that you trust me a little. I thought you would know by now where my loyalties lie. Just because I question what we do doesn't mean I would ever turn away from you or any other Rabin." Her cheeks hot, she turns her gaze back to the front.
Aya pulls back, and gently tugs on Sacha's sleeve to suggest that they continue walking. "You'd really let me see him one more time?" She feels excited at the thought of seeing Destin again, but quickly reminds herself of what she just promised. "I mean, uh, that would be nice. If I didn't just have to disappear on him. Maybe I could ask him if he knows anything interesting about healing." She fades into a silence, just thinking about Destin in his ocelot form.
