"I don't think she does." Kianna shakes her head. "It is what it is. But I can't stand Fabine. I want him to suffer." Her fur raises slightly out of anger, as she gazes back at Amelia. "I might... have went a little over board, but I don't care at this point."

Amelia nods slowly. "If I had a sibling and Fabine killed them...I'd want him to suffer too. But Kianna...that boy...he wasn't Fabine. And hurting him, that doesn't do anything to help bring your sister back, or get closure for you." She then frowns, thinking. "Do you want my help in getting revenge on Fabine? I'm sure I dislike him just as much as you."

Sacha sighs. "Broms, what else?" She shakes her head a bit and chuckles. "Almost half a day I believe." She tilts her head. "Surprised to see you this far from camp. Aren't most of your herbs closer to the town?" Her eyes darken. "You didn't see any other Broms crossing the river or trying to start anything did you?? I sure wouldn't put it past them, especially if Fabine was just keeping us busy..." She frowns and glances around, half expecting an ambush of some kind.

Aya examines Sacha's shoulder closely, half-listening to what her leader was saying. "Broms... Of course..." In the back of her mind the image of Destin's face appeared along with the questions she'd been planning to ask but she pushed them aside for the issue at hand. "I was, uh, collecting river herbs." She murmurs, checking to see how the wound looked. To her relief it wasn't deep. "I didn't see anyone." It was a white lie but she didn't think it was relevant quite yet. "Knife, was it? I think you can get back to camp before I treat it. The bleeding's basically stopped."

Sacha blinks. "Wait you have seen Broms? How far away from camp?" she asks curiously, glancing back over their shoulders warily. She then looks back to Aya. "Ah. Were you able to find the ones you needed?" She asks, then nods. "Yeah, Paisley stabbed me pretty bad with her knife." She huffs. "Okay that's fine."

Nadia eyes the rabbit as she works, careful not to get blood all over herself. She soon has the skin and body separate. She rises to her feet and wipes her hands off on her pants, before turning to look around her. She should start a fire. I'll need to find firewood and kindle... She thinks to herself. Nadia focuses her attention to her surroundings once more before setting off to gather supplies. Something seemed off, it was too quiet. She narrows her eyes slightly.

Marik had been watching the entire time as she worked and then saw as her body tensed up in a way which implied she had sensed something. It wasn't unusual per say. Plenty of people could notice the sensation that they were being watched. However, he still felt that there was something to this stranger. He remains in his bear form and waits to see if she spots him, interested in how she would react.

"Umm..." With her examination finished, Aya listens more closely to Sacha's queries. For a second she hesitates about telling her leader the truth but then wonders what she has to fear. Besides, silence wouldn't answer her questions. "Yes, I found the herbs I needed. The Brom healer was gathering them too." She looks directly at Sacha, confused. "I'd never spoken to a Brom before, Sacha. He was really nice!" She glances at Sacha's wound. "I mean, I couldn't even see him doing something like this."

Sacha raises an eyebrow. "You spoke to Destin?" She asks curiously, before nodding a bit. "Destin's one of the good ones, but don't be fooled Aya. The others wouldn't hesitate to kill you." she sighs quietly. "Please tell me that this was a one time thing so I don't have to worry about your safety." She gives Aya a small smile. "You're a good healer Aya. So is Destin, but he's not someone you want to make friends of per se."

Aya feels... she wasn't quite sure what, but she feels something at Sacha's insistence that she and Destin should not be friends. She'd been happy with him even though she didn't know why. Perhaps it was because they were both healers? Sometimes she felt out of place alongside all the strength the Rabins had. Destin had easily understood the life of being a healer. And then there was what he'd told her... She refuses to answer her question quite yet. "He... he said somethings. About the Broms and the Rabins."

Sacha frowns as Aya doesn't answer the question. "Seriously Aya...you need to think about yourself and your safety as our healer." she then sighs heavily. "Yeah, well, Broms lie. So why don't you tell me what he said so I can confirm or deny what he said." she stops walking and turns to face Aya. "I'm not going to lie to you, so please, get whatever this is, out of the way now."

Aya stops with a sigh and nods, believing that Sacha wouldn't lie to her. "Well, Destin said a lot of things. Mostly about how the Rabins might be in the wrong..." she watches carefully for Sacha's reaction on the next line, feeling slightly guilty for her suspicion. "... and that you killed the previous leader of the Broms."

Sacha looks away sadly. "I.." she swallows thickly, her eyes welling up with unshed tears. "I'm not sure why Destin would tell you that, or why he would try to make you hate me...but yes...I was the cause of the last leader of the Broms." she turns away from Aya, not wanting to see the expression of her healer. "But no Aya. The Rabins are not in the wrong. I won't tell you why the Brom leader had to die, just trust me when I say it was for the best of our group. I look out for my own..."

Aya feels shame overwhelm her at seeing her leader, who she knew was so strong, have tears in her eyes due to her accusation. She was conflicted. The thought of Sacha taking someone's life was horrific, but at the very least she felt remorse for it. "Sacha..." Aya sighs, eyes turned to the ground. "I know you look out for us. You always have. I just... I just want to know that what we're doing is right. I mean, those are still kids on the other side of the river. Just like us." she walks a little closer. "How do you know - how should I know - that we haven't done the wrong thing?"

Sacha exhales before turning back to Aya, her gaze clear again. "Aya. I take care of our group first and foremost. I don't kill or take a life or order the life of someone to be taken, unless I am absolutely certain that there is no other way." She shakes her head. "It's impossible to know if we do the right thing or not. But I know for a fact that I do everything I can to make our group the best I can. And if that means taking a life on occasion, so be it. But don't ever accuse me of doing so in vain. I lead this group the only way I know how. I don't do anything that I wouldn't expect anyone else to do."

Aya bows her head to Sacha's words and thinks on them for a moment. Then she quickly steps forward and wraps her in a hug, be careful to avoid the injured shoulder. "Thank you." she mumbles, her words muffled as she hides her face in Sacha's shirt, trying not to cry. "You're very brave and I know that you keep everyone safe. I... I won't seek Destin out..."

Sacha blinks before smiling a bit at the hug. "Thanks Aya." She hugs the girl gently. "I'm glad you understand." She then sighs. "I'll let you see him once more, if just to say goodbye. He's a good person Aya, don't get me wrong. I just would hate for another Brom to catch onto what you two are going and plan an ambush or something that would potentially end up with you being dead.."

Aya pulls back, and gently tugs on Sacha's sleeve to suggest that they continue walking. "You'd really let me see him one more time?" She feels excited at the thought of seeing Destin again, but quickly reminds herself of what she just promised. "I mean, uh, that would be nice. If I didn't just have to disappear on him. Maybe I could ask him if he knows anything interesting about healing." She fades into a silence, just thinking about Destin in his ocelot form.

Sacha sighs heavily as they start walking again. "Aya...Are you crushing on a Brom?" she asks gently. "I know that Destin's a nice, sweet, caring boy, but you have to remember where your loyalties lie." she looks sternly at the healer. "I want your word that you will see him one more time, say goodbye, then never see him again, got it?"

Aya blushes suddenly and turns with a touch of anger to Sacha. "Crushing!? I just met this boy! Who do you think I am, Sacha?" She matches Sacha's gaze coldly to cover up her embarrassment. The word sounded to her like Sacha thought her a child. "I am fully able to keep myself from seeing someone, as I have promised. I only ask that you trust me a little. I thought you would know by now where my loyalties lie. Just because I question what we do doesn't mean I would ever turn away from you or any other Rabin." Her cheeks hot, she turns her gaze back to the front.

Sacha chuckles in amusement. "You're right. I apologize. I didn't mean to...accuse you of anything Aya." She sighs and looks up at the sky momentarily. "I do trust you Aya. More than most people in our group. You've always been such a loyal and great healer." she looks at the younger girl with a small smile.

Aya breathes out, calming down and feeling surprised at Sacha's praise. "Oh... Thank you, Sacha." she smiles back. Her eyes are drawn to Sacha's wound again and she feels relieved that they are nearing the camp. "Do you want to talk about how that happened?" she tries to hide her curiosity, not wanting Sacha to feel forced into talking about it.
