Name:
Michael "Brick" Magnusson
Age:
20
Gender:
Male
Appearance:
A large man, although not especially tall. He stands at 5'10" and weighs 200 lbs. - the majority of which is muscle. There are a variety of very faint scars across his upper back and his arms, where he has taken one too many strikes during his time with a medieval reenactment group. By some miracle, his hands are completely unscathed.
At some point, he's lashed together a number of wooden panels carven from lumber and fallen trees using leather strips, to make a sort of rudimentary 'armor'. It doesn't work terribly well due to poor gap coverage, but it certainly does look good when he opts to put it on.
Usually he can be found wearing one of a number of colors of faded jeans, a black band tee, and a biker jacket.
Personality:
Brick is a kind yet firm man, serious when caring for either his own group or his enemies. He recognizes that the majority of members of each group don't have genuinely good reasons for making war. He is somewhat lethargic and moves at his own pace - and very little, save for genuine emergencies, can speed him up. His attention span is somewhat... Lacking. He is very, very patient when waiting, but not particularly patient with those he deems to be 'cruel' or 'ignorant'. He takes liberties with the truth where he sees it as being beneficial to himself or his friends.
In emergencies or combat, his slower mind is sped sufficiently by adrenaline that he's capable of, to a limited degree, taking charge and ensuring the safety of everyone but himself. He is the first man into and the last man out of a fight, and will not retreat until everybody else has escaped.
On some days, he stands between the camps, watching over the border for hours on end, slowly mulling over complex topics regarding invention, philosophy, metaphysics, experimental medicine, and the like, though he doesn't ever put those ideas to use. He may be a slow thinker, but he is very, very thorough, and likes to explore all of the options available.
Animal:
An above-average Silverback Mountain Gorilla, weighing in at roughly 500 lbs. He generally dislikes taking this form because it seriously irritates his lower back.
Weapon and Fighting style:
A fantasy-style greatsword made of solid oak. Originally part of a costume, it now serves him well in defending his camp. While he wields it as though it were a proper sword, it's more of a massive, fancy club.
Brick strongly prefers counterstrikes, and generally stands motionless with his sword held high until he sees a proper opening. He doesn't chase after his enemies unless they're actively attacking his friends, or they're headed towards the Rabin camp.
