Brianna switches the feed of the computer from the laptop's own camera to the set up in front of the cage and waits for the go ahead from The Boss. "I'll tell you when!" she calls to Hunter.

The Boss acts flustered. "Oh, my son, it's terrible! When the IT experts came to me saying they received a strange transmission I thought it was simply a prank of some kind but it's much, much worse! Then I thought they must be lying but the resemblance is uncanny..." he rambles on.
Brianna watches Hunter deal with Ptelea, having little success. "Get ready to show her on the camera!" she shouts crossly to him, annoyed that he couldn't control a child. She then replies to The Boss. "Yes, boss. We'll have her up for the world to see the moment you command.

The Boss nods, "I expect no less. Let me go ensure that the intended viewer is ready." He pushes down the cover of the laptop and knocks on the door of Ambrose's room. "Ambrose? Are you awake? Please, it's very important." His voice is fraught with concern.
Brianna's activated the web chat app on the computer and made the call as explained in the text sent to her. It was a little disconcerting to see the face of The Boss show up in response. Old men and technology were a pairing that was unusual to see at best.

The Boss meanwhile was holding a laptop and was close to Ambrose's room. "Brianna," he greeted her quietly as not to have the boy hear him. "I assume preparations are complete?"
Whilst Hunter kept Ptelea busy, Brianna's brought the video camera up to the cage. There was a small gap in the bars where the lens could peek through. The camera itself was set up on a tripod. She took a cable from the camera and connected it to the laptop. Small microphones had been set up in the cage when Ptelea was asleep so every little cry she made would be crystal clear.
Brianna's phone buzzes in her pocket. She pulls it out to find a new text from The Boss. She turns to Hunter. "We're supposed to start the live feed soon." she takes a breath and forces the words to leave her mouth. "You should rough her up a bit. Not too much, we'll do most of it when the boy's watching but you want him to know the stakes."
Brianna scoffs momentarily, "Not when he sees what we're going to do to you," she mutters beneath her breath. She looks over the equipment when Ptelea points to it. "Given the scattered state of your family I do wonder if you've ever had the pleasure of a web chat. Let's say this is a more high quality version of that."

Ptelea gasps, putting her hands over her mouth. "Rosey!" She sobs, whimpering fearfully. "No!" She cries out, shaking. She moves further from the side of the cell, trembling. "I want my brother!" she cries, tears rolling down her cheeks. She looks at Brianna in fear. "Rosey would never tell you where I was! You're...you're lying!" She says firmly, balling her tiny hands into fists. "I want my brother!"

"Well, don't you worry." Brianna retreats from the cell, back to one of the desks she and Hunter had set up and continues to check that the camera equipment is ready. "You'll see him very soon. Trust me though, he's hardly going to be delighted to see you." Scaring the girl had been harder than she thought. It certainly wouldn't get easier when it came to experimentation, no matter how less dangerous the experiments might be.

Ptelea begins crying. "Please stop it!" She begs, sniffling. "I want Ambrose!" She orders the best she can, voice trembling. "My brother is not pathetic!" She says firmly.

"Say that to his tooth." Brianna retreats for a moment and then returns with one of Ambrose's wisdom teeth. She'd only brought it along to continue her studies, but this use seemed apt as well. The sight of the girl's tears hurt her heart but she pretended that Ptelea was only having a tantrum. "I hope you didn't like that precious face of his too much. It's got a nice new mark on it now. The sad part is..." She drew out the cartoon she'd drawn off the chubby parrot. There were faint bloodstains on it. "... He was thinking of you the whole time. He even let us know where you were. Kind, yes?"

Pterea whimpers. "No, but...Reina was fine!" She insists, crossing her arms. She then gasps. "You...you don't know anything!" she rushes to the cell door and pulls on it. "I want out!" She shouts, kicking at the door, tears in her eyes. "P..please let me go!" She pleads, looking at Brianna.

"Ambrose, Ambrose!" Brianna cries in mock pain, taunting Pterea's voice. "Oh, Ambrose! Please come save me." She sneers at the girl. "I saw him cry in pathetic pain for his little baby parrot." She holds up her hands. "His fingers bled for you."
"What do you know about what I did? Did you see the body?" Brianna begins to stalk the cage back and forth. "I think you'll find I am the one in full understanding of the situation. You think your name is all I know? Hardly... I know about your mother. I know about your father who drowned in his own alcoholic obsession. Oh, and I particularly know about your brother." she watches closely for Ptelea's reaction.
