Ambrose nods painfully. He fights the urge to look at his sister, knowing he'd probably break down if he did. 'I hope you're right sir.." He whispers, pulling his knees to his chest. Tears roll down his cheeks. "My sister is everything to me sir.."

The Boss sighs and pushes the laptop away from Ambrose. "I know. I know she is. I don't know why these people are doing this, either."

Brianna takes back the microphone. "Alright Hunter, what experiments do we have in store today for this little lot of sugar, spice and everything nice?"

The sound of her voice comes loudly from the laptop.

ambrose glares at the old man. "Unreasonable demands my ass." He scowls, then cross his arms. He shivers a bit, before looking away, before sighing heavily. "They probably found her near our foster home..." He describes the town where Dem was. "Outside the town there's a foster home with at least 10 kids. A couple lives there, the Vilks." He nods slowly. "That's where Ptelea and I ended up when our dad started drinking.." He looks back at the Boss sadly. "Please...find my sister."

The Boss nods a couple of times and then pulls out his phone. He types in the details and pretends to send it off to his 'experts'. What he actually sends is a message to a group of security guards who were waiting outside the warehouse which says Decrease rescue time by one hour. "I'm sure this will help them, Ambrose," he says as he tucks the phone back into his pocket. "Sharing information is a guaranteed way to assist with situations like this."

Ambrose looks at the Boss, pain in his eyes. "A...few hours??" He shakes his head, trembling. "You need to find her. NOW!" He shouts angrily. "My sister is the most important person in my life. I made the mistake of leaving her behind before, but not again. You will find her, or else you will lose whatever trust you have gained." He says fiercely.

"Ambrose!" The boss speaks strongly. "You make unreasonable demands! You think I can make the rain stop if you ask it of me?" He takes a breath to calm himself down. "You do not think I'm doing everything in my power to save her? You don't think I understand the importance of family." He taps his cane on the ground a few times. "It's a few hours tops. I told you, my best men are on it." The sound of tapping fills the room. "Information can help save her. Where did they find your sister? They can't have gone far from there."
Nadia continues walking, hands at her sides. The forest was awfully silent and she enjoyed it. It was a nice change from the usual fighting and arguing she would come across, given the two groups of kids.

Marik sighs, knowing that the borders around here were silent. Whatever disturbance had taken place in camp was clearly only centred there. It wouldn't hurt to take a stroll in unclaimed territory, now would it? He walked over the border to see if there was anything interesting around.
The Boss places the laptop on the floor of Ambrose's room and stands up. "Ambrose, it might take us a while to find these people." He hesitates, like he wants to keep Ambrose calm. "Ah, but I only mean... maybe a few hours tops?" He stares down at the laptop. "I know I haven't respected your wishes in the past but, well, I know how important your sister is to you. I'd take this laptop away from you otherwise but it should be your choice."

Brianna walks away, the sight of red blood filling the the clear syringe being less comforting than usual. She picks up a notepad and writes the reaction of Ambrose to his sister's experience. Perhaps shifting siblings were closer than normal ones? It was quite baseless conjecture, but one she'd like to explore.

Ptelea begins crying. "Rosey!" She sobs, struggling to get away. The knife at her face and the syringe were scary enough, but she had never seen Ambrose look so broken and so tired. She could see the injuries on his face and that frightened her. "Rosey!" She cries again. "Brother, please!"

"Just take the blood," Brianna sighs to Hunter, her unenthusiastic nature for the event showing for just a moment. "Show Ambrose that we mean business."
"Oh Hunter, I hardly believe him yet." Brianna's face is pitiful for just a moment at Ptelea's situation but her love for science takes over. "Hunter, take the blood."

"My son..." The Boss murmurs quietly to Ambrose. "I think you should look away now."
Hunter holds her tightly as she begins to struggle again, pressing the knife closer. "Careful, or she's going to match you pretty soon!" He warns Ambrose.

Brianna picks up a microphone and begins to talk into it. "Oh! Ambrose! What a surprise! I guess you're wondering why the four of us are in this situation, hmm? Well, you see, since you've gone and escaped our grasp we thought it only fitting to continue experimenting on somehow of your kin. Genetics and all that, you know?" She picks up a syringe from nearby. "Hunter, how do you feel about blood extraction?"

The Boss looks sadly at Ambrose. "My son, I have my best people on the job!" He scratches his head worriedly. "But these people, they need information to strike..."
Hunter steadies his grip on her and rolls his eyes, waiting for Brianna to start. At this point he wanted all this to be over with. He didn't understand why Ambrose was so special, and why they had to go through all of this just to get the girl... even if she IS a shifter.

Nadia was walking through the trees in the niether territory. She hadn't really stretched her legs in a good while, and decided a stroll would do her well. She remained silently and followed along one of the worn trails, steps light.

Marik was on the edge of the Rabin and unclaimed territory, staring boredly into the forest. He'd been out in the morning unable to sleep and when he'd tried to return back to camp there seemed to be some ruckus going on. If it had been an invasion it hadn't seemed like a large force and his involvement probably would have made things more confusing for the Rabins. So here he was, nowhere to go. He couldn't hear much else but the wind in the trees.

Ambrose frowns worriedly, still a little groggy from his lack of sleep. "Sir...what's going on?" He asks carefully, glancing at the laptop. His heart fell, wondering what sort of horrible things could have been found. "What's on that laptop sir?" He asks, watching the old man's expression.

Ptelea whines and kicks at Hunter. "Lemme go!" She cries out and tries to get away. She pushs at Hunter's chest, trying to get as far away from the knife as she can. She whimpers fearfully, wondering what was goin to happen to her. "Please." She begs, hiccuping.

"A transmission," The Boss states gravely and turns the laptop to Ambrose.

Hearing The Boss's voice, Brianna nods at Hunter to signal that the video had started. She also takes the laptop over to the cage so that Ptelea would be able to see Ambrose.

On the laptop's monitor was the video footage of a horrifying sight - Ptelea struggling bravely against Hunter's tight grip, knife held against her.
