And I've posted a bit of lore in the first post. It's still pretty bare-bones, but we'll be discovering more about Anjou's areas of influence as the RP goes along. I hope you guys like it.

@RyuShura Vague mysticism and "find your own way" is fine. Just make sure you put that in the profile. Also, it would help to write why Juri is personally invested in this? What happens to her if she fails? Why doesn't she just run off and say "seeya grandpa?" You don't have to flesh out everything about the character, but I would at least like her motivations against Anjou to be clear since that's the main idea of this whole thing.

@Zero Hex I'll allow a Mongolian inspired character, but keep in mind, this is not literal history. I would say that the Mongolians would be from a very distant land, and this would be more of a scouting mission to see if their ambitions of invasion are feasible. You know how when the Mongols invaded Japan, they were annihilated by a typhoon... twice. That's kinda what would happen if they sent their hoards after Anjou right now. Naturally, the scouting mission would turn into a quest to overthrow the fox once they realize just how solid his power is.

@RyuShura Looks good. Just a couple of things. I'll need you to clarify, "her body does not react to the physical world normally like a mortal." Is that simply the things you listed thereafter? If so, that's OK. If it's some kind of intangibility, I'll need you to specify what it is, and it will have to be very limited. Also, I want you to elaborate a bit on the backstory. Why was Juri out of all the spirits chosen to take down Anjou? The elders would have to know she would fail on her own. Just give me a paragraph explaining this decision.

@Lemons Looks good. I just have one suggestion that'll tie into the story I'm working on. In folk lore, kitsune generally have a hoshi no tama (or star ball) as their source of power. I would recommend having the lieutenant steal Yukiko's hoshi no tama as the means of stealing her powers.

@Blight Bug I like him, but I'd like to see an impetus for him to leave the city. Perhaps he's fleeing the city temporarily to avoid capture because Yu Ru is on to him?

What cultures are considered Eastern and which ones aren't? What's off limits?

I'd say most of Asia. China, Japan, India, Korea, and the like. I'd probably exclude Russia because they're kinda different, but if you have something from that culture in mind, it could be from a "faraway land" or something.

Prometheus's final hiss was lost in the buzz of chattering nobles. But, perhaps it was best that Seldo didn't hear it; the white-haired prince was already getting under his skin, and his intentions were not to make trouble today. In all honesty, Seldo would be happy if they simply never crossed paths again. Skyhaven was quite literally on the other side of the world, so it mattered little what the relationship between their kingdoms was like. What, would they march their armies across the entire continent? No, he was free to hate that prince as much as he liked. It seemed, though, that their little spat wasn't all bad...

Apparently, he had attracted the attention of one of the ladies nearby, and attention was always a good thing as far as Seldo was concerned. He did not know the young lady who was approaching him, but he had to admit he found her very pretty. He could find not a strand of her long, golden hair out of place and her bright eyes were full of life. It was no wonder that a woman so perfectly exuding her social class would understand why he had acted so disrespectfully to that other prince. Seldo put on a charming smile and looked back at Lyriel with gentle eyes. "Do not worry yourself about him, milady," he said, giving a dismissive gesture. "If our grim prince wishes to sulk in the corner, then let him. He is nothing to us." Seldo gave a gentle laugh, trying to enjoy his chat with this new lady, but still, he wanted to address one other thing that she had said.

"He is no peer of ours. He carries himself like a lowborn, so in my eyes he is a lowborn. There is no need to entangle ourselves in the affairs of a lowborn, don't you agree milady? Besides, with white hair like that..." Seldo lowered his voice to a whisper so that only Lyriel could hear. "I wouldn't be surprised if he was some half-elf bastard whose father claimed he was legitimate simply to save his own reputation." Seldo chuckled and then returned to his normal jovial voice. "Ah, but we haven't been properly acquainted, have we?" He gave the lady a graceful bow. "Prince Seldo Forletus, heir to the throne of Forlonia. It is a pleasure, milady."

So, here's the CS. This is all the information you'll need to include, but feel free to pretty it up any way you like. If you have any questions, feel free to ask. I know I didn't give you guys much of a setting to work off of, but I'll be considering your characters as I make the world.

Name: Should be self-explanatory. Keep in mind this is eastern fantasy. The name "Kyle" probably wouldn't come up. Also include any aliases/nicknames.

Age: Even for non-human races, keep it under 100.

Race: You may be human, or any race based off of Eastern folklore/mythology. You may not be a god or godlike being.

Appearance: Any non-humanoid races should have a humanoid form for the sake of the RP. Include an image or description of all forms.

Personality: What makes your character tick? Write at least a paragraph describing the way your character acts.

History: Write a few paragraphs describing the backstory of your character. All characters should have a personal grudge against Anjou. I haven't told you much about him yet, but be creative. It'll help me shape the story. The only restriction is that the characters should not have met Anjou personally, but meeting a high-ranking minion is fine.

Skills: What is your character particularly good at? Here is where you will also describe your character's martial arts style if they know any. Try to really flesh out the skills.

Powers: Magic, Ki, Chakra, whatever. Describe your character's supernatural powers (if any) here. As a rule of thumb, if you can make a crater, you're too powerful. If you're not sure, just put the power down and I'll ask you to nerf it if necessary. The following powers are banned right off the bat: Regeneration, Teleportation, FTE speeds, Flight Without Wings, Mind Control, and anything else I deem game breaking should it come up.

Equipment: Describe what your character generally carries on them. This includes weapons AND armor. Images and descriptions of individual piece of equipment are nice. No technology beyond steel age materials. That means no guns.
