As for how many characters we have now, there are 3 Keys and 1 human. If Van's and Fire's characters are human as well, they would be even. If you ask me, simply do what you feel comfortable =3

I have to say this caught my attention with the title and made think it was some time traveling plot that would probably have a cliche ending, but not what I was expecting at all. I read all the posts and the introduction was rather confusing at first, but after a few minutes I got the main idea. I am a rather intrigued about how the keys idea plays out. I was interested in the 'the soul will leave your body' thing if I can be honest. I never would have imagined someone could come up with something this promising, I am quite jealous. But all in all, I would like to join and make a character, maybe two depending if I really want to play someone's key. Either way, I'm rather interested. I can send you my character sheet directly to you whenever I have it done?

And I am doing fine =3 My phone is being a bit of a challenge to handle, but all is good. I am at school right now and will finish in about....2 hours. And another hour for getting home and eating. So 3 hours until I can actually work on anything X3. When does Kimchi usually come online? I haven't seen her on Skype at all. =<

It's good that we got that cleared up. I'm not forcing anyone to play Keys and players. You can pick whichever you like =3

I myself have my Key sheet halfway done and will start work on my human's sheet. Seeing as we'll have a little vacation starting from this Wednesday, I'll have time then and finish those two characters up.

Oh, and I would like to remark once more. Remember, this is a murder role-play. You should be prepared to play more than one character in the future. Some people aren't comfortable with playing more than one at a time, but do take note that, at some point, you might find yourself having/ having had more than one.

The only thing I don't understand is the whole Key deal. Like, are we going to have to play two characters? Do we choose our key or is this Key a seperate character from our character? I know you said you can't be a Key and a Human on the site, but if nobody wants to be the Key then who will? Only thing I'm really confused about. Keys are separate characters, which originate from the world that is Cell City. They can have any shape and form in that dimension, yet take the form of keys in our world.

Keys are partners of the human players. They are the ones who serve the guide function if they have ever been in the game before, but if they are new, there are a bit clueless, despite knowing the basics, since the system automatically gives them the information upon their creation. Their main role is, very narrowly speaking, the partner/companion/support/attack one. It's very dangerous to walk around the streets when you're alone in Cell City, so they're supposed to be the ones who watch your back (in theory, of course).

If you are playing a human character, the said character's Key can NOT be played by you. It MUST be played by someone else.

How your human character picks the Key is explained on the site.
How it is decided which Key will be picked by which human, prior to the role-play's start or during the story, is rather simple. You go to "Key Store" and pick whichever you like. I liked El's idea to not reveal the character sheets of the Keys to anyone except me and their owners, in order for the choise to truly be realistic.

However, I must note that the "Key Store" is currently closed. Once I'm sure we have enough humans and Keys, I'll announce that the users, who are playing human characters, can post in the OOC (which will be made once I am sure there are enough people on this boat) which Key they want for their character. First comes, first serves. I'll give a warning some time, maybe a day, before the announcement for the opening of the store, in order for you to be ready.

There was this big paper that needed to be completed and I just wanted to fall down and go to dreamland the moment I finished it. XD
I'll do my best to post every day from now on. =3

Alrighty! If you've all gotten a good idea of what's going on and have no questions regarding the plot and setting, I'm all open for character sheets through PM. El already sent me theirs and we're discussing on what should and shouldn't be there. I would like to remind you all to write a fair amount in both the "Personality" and "History" section. For Keys, I don't personally mind a short History, but compensate with Personality.

Also, I will have to clear something up.
Since El suggested to make the Keys page into the shop the way it would look like in the app, in order for there to be some fun with picking randomly, I'm going to request that you all put in descriptions of your key (object) and keychain in addition to the images, if you have any to begin with. The said writing will be put on the "Key Shop" page, where owners of human characters will be picking their Key partners.
Remember, if you own a human character, you can not pick a Key that is played by you. =3

Well...I don't know what to say. We were talking so casually just yesterday. Everything seemed fine...I was seriously in shock. It was as if it wasn't reality plain in front of me. I thought it was a prank, but then got worried. So I jumped out of my seat, turned on the laptop for a quick one and saw that he had left the group chat on Skype...This wasn't a joke at all...Pach...Thank you. Thank you very much for all you've done. You were of great help. I loved Vince's character. It would have been great to have a one-on-one confrontation and a run around between him and Haku. You'll be greatly missed...It's a good thing that a few hours passed, otherwise I would be bawling all over this post.

Awesome posts, guys :DDI might post something up in between my studying (gods i hate exams why ugh ugh), but for now I just wanna say for everyone to be mindful of how your attacks and energy depleted matches up. For instance Lesley's two gloriously rainbow attacks had depleted it down to about a quarter, while Haku somehow managed to make two ice pillars and a whole bunch of enormous icicles fall from the sky only using barely half the energy. Personally I think Anon's amount is more accurate, but we'll see what Michi says when she gets on ^ u ^

Truth be told, I was having some trouble deciding how much would be depleted ^ ^". First I told myself it would be half. Then I wondered if it should be more than a half. But then I wouldn't have enough. Then I thought it should be less than a half. After that, I started thinking hard and, since my brain was begging me to just go to sleep, I wrote something random and went to bed XD I'll change it to a half.

Also, Haku made one ice pillar/tower for Leon and Vince, since they were pretty much in the same spot. As for the icicles, it wasn't a shower, more like a couple here and there, since his power is not advanced enough to make it rain icy needles of death X3

Alright, Lesley is officially the most adorable, random, colourful homosexual I have ever seen. If those attacks were animated, I would be laughing so hard, I'd fall off my chair. XD Great job with your collab! Did Jasper find her glasses by the end? I did notice that you mentioned she had lost them and I can think of a certain someone, who would love to 'return' them~
