Bio

Hello! I'm Heap!
Welcome to my little corner of the guild.

My current life status and availability:

I live in the Western area of the US in an apartment I work 2 jobs and 50-65 hours (Not exaggerating) a week to pay for. I work primarily as a professional graphic designer and part time at a local family owned shop mainly as a favor to the owner who needed the help. Aside from that I'm relatively active in my social life and non-role-playing activities so while I'm still online everyday the hours are usually really early in the morning and really late at night. That being said, if you find me in chat and I randomly disappear, I'm not trying to be rude, someone probably just showed up at my door wanting to hang out or go out.

My Roleplaying style:

When it comes to joining a role-play I usually go for a more adult themed type. Not necessarily intimate just more of a mature context. The genre doesn't typically matter so long as the idea is somewhat original, that to say, I don't go for role-plays based on any specific media very often. The exception being if the role-play is based off an already well established story that it's not completely following the canon of it.

Who I am:

Curiosity is my blessing and curse. I must know as much about everything as I possibly can and often will never take a simple answer to a question without either inquiring further or doing extra research on the subject until I know it's origin, current political and monetary state, how it's used and if in any way it could influence my own life. So far as I know I'm a pretty easy going, fun loving, person, I'm not afraid to go against the grain or do something that seems a little odd. In the end I genuinely just want to be a happy person and in turn share that happiness with everyone around me.

Side note:

I've made a few friends since being here and truly cherish my friendships with each and every one of them (you know who you are). If you guys ever need anything, ever, I'm there, you never need to ask twice or feel like you are any less important to me then you really are.

The Ibrus Clan is also a thing consisting of myself, @Vashonn, @Caster and @Big Dread. We are a group of miscreants and are all really good friends. I would do almost anything for them.

I'll post for Lorenzo probably tomorrow morning. =]
@Zverda Somehow I don't know that Fiona would mind nearly as much if it was her son that took her seat.
Great Expectations
@Emo Boy Hey there, Welcome to the guild! What's your RP style?
Saida nodded in the with a quick smile at Rhindani, her deep blue eyes matching hers for a moment before she looked onward towards the bandit camp forming some many paces away. A small breeze tickled the edges of her cheeks whisking in a direction that seemed to be pointing to Rhindani as if helping them make their decision. ,"My friend, I believe your idea to be a favorable one, to know the layout of the camp of those lost souls would be preferable for a quick completion. Perhaps, while you are amongst their company, should you hear of any plans or of whom their leader it is, I believe it'll help us substantially. I would offer to accompany you but, I fear one of your grace on a pilgrimage with an elf would raise more suspicion then your sudden appearance already would."

Saida smiled gently, glancing about the crowd for a moment before speaking again. "If everyone else is on board with this plan or does not have an opinion either way, is there a chance a horn could be leant to our friend, in case of misfortune or discovery?"

Saida felt her hand move up and touch her pendant of the sun that lay against her chest marking the symbol of Deum Lucis. As her thumb traced the moulding and inlay she felt the three gems that had been place within it as focusing crystals for magic use, a Citrine was the largest of the three as it was needed the most, next were the Diamond and the Amethyst, both about the same size. She closed her eyes for a moment as if in a deep trance of concentration before walking over the the lizardfolk woman, placing a hand on her shoulder, or what she thought was her shoulder discovering it was what could be a wing instead. The sudden surprise only briefly detained Saida before she closed her eyes and whispered a small and simply incantation of illusion, a spell that would make you seem more welcoming and less dangerous to an enemy. Her hand glowed gold for a moment as the spell took hold of it then an orange gold shroud of light seemed to encompass Rhindani, hugging her in the warm light before disappearing, leaving the gentle kiss of warmth around her body.

Saida removed her hand and looked her in the eyes one final time, "As the warmth fades, so shall the spell, may it help you should the others agree in this course of action." Saida glanced up once again and looked around at the others both, waiting for a response and hoping for an agreement. She did not know her companions well enough yet but, their decision on this matter would set the final form of the base in the mould that was the impression of each of them in her mind. Whatever they decided to do, Saida was ready, she would heal, she could fight but her peaceful nature seemed to ever steer her towards the gentlest, and most subtle approach.
@Zverda Hah! I love the tension already being built up between Nalia and Fiona.

@Big Dread Just as soon as I know if I'm making Lorenzo's first post or if you are I'll write out another response for IC

Also, I'm down for discord! I can't promise how long I'll be on there but I'll join in!
Hey Big D, just curious- what age did Lorenzo arrive in House Delorano?

Because if he was old enough to get some poor girl pregnant, I'm going to have to go out on a limb and say he was at least in his early teens.

@Big Dread

Well, I would say about 14 (Don't look at me like that, you remember how you were at 14) when that happened since they moved into Delorano house shortly afterwards.
Tatiana Adelbert

Location: Paris, France, In front of Notre Dame Date: April 14th, 2012 Time: 10:30am

The gentle breeze continued to shift in the air, dancing with the leaves and petals that decorated the ground before the Notre Dame. Tatiana tucked her sketch pad into the depths of her carpet bag before standing up, taking in a breath and walking the short distance between the bench she once sat and the large doors of the illustrious cathedral. As she passed the hunchback performer she nodded sweetly and tossed a small handful of one euro bills into the hat that sat next to him on the pedestal. The gracious look in his eyes sent a shiver of good feeling down the older woman's spine, letting the slip of a smile grace her lips before ascending the large steps of the building.

Her shoes stepped firmly on each step as the doors opened as if waiting for her arrival and she entered the cathedral. Her heart fluttered and her throat swelled as the pillars and high arched ceilings came into view. The benches still displayed in rows leading up to the alter a few people scattered here and there sitting between benches and laughing with each other, all tourists from the looks of it. Tatiana walked down the center isle which was brilliantly illuminated by the hanging chandeliers that mirrored each other on either side of the hall marking a walkway towards the small steps that sat before the large windows decorating the end.

Tatiana knelt at the first step once she reached it, crossed her heart and muttered a small prayer that resonated deep within her soul, tugging every emotion, every impulse and every ambition that she'd ever known. Each instance of her life rising to the surface for a moment then slipping back to it's resting place as if whispering words of love, hate, generosity and envy in her ears. Each one bringing it's feeling, it's passion and desire along with it then receding into the depths that was the library of the woman's mind.

When she rose and soft smile settling on her lips, she felt a small tug against the fabric of her lavender jacket and when glancing down, noticed a little boy, perhaps no older then 10 looking up at her in eager anticipation. Speaking in an English so broken by his French accent that it could barely be understood the boy said with the embodiment of innocence, "Exascuse em me mademoiselle, vould you like a tour of sis cathedral?" The boys eyes were large and green, his hair was a dirty blonde almost brown and his hands were small and frail.

Tatiana, whose heart had melted nodded as eagerly as the boy outwardly seemed and proceeded to receive a tour of the great establishment from the energetic boy who was so happy to have a customer that he began talking so quickly and so sporadically, mixing between French and broken English that Tatiana began to simply nod at this explanations of rooms, halls and stair cases whether she understood what he had said or not. This boy, this child working his way into his next meal brought so much joy and so much sorrow to the woman that she couldn't help but love him with each excited burst and miscommunicated fact.

As the tour concluded and Tatianas legs began to waver from so much movement in so little time, she gave the little boy the largest tip he would ever see to which he burst onto her in a hug filled with tears, thank yous and laughter. The hugs were of course returned graciously and genuinely before she left the boy behind to find other tourists to give guides to. She began making her way down the stairs of the cathedral once again as the bells rang for the noon hour. Loud, powerful and emotional rings vibrated off the floor of the courtyard as each passer, whether foreign or otherwise, glanced up even if just for an instance at the origin location of the rings.

Tatiana headed towards the nearest cafΓ©, ordering herself a sandwich to which she would eat on her journey then flagged a taxi giving him the address given to her before sitting comfortably within it, eating her sandwich as the taxi made it's way from the location.
