Vincent smiled, tilting his head "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you. My name is Vincent, also a Freelance Mage." He studied the person before him, smirking. So he was a Mage looking to join Phoenix Wing, eh? Although, it didn't seem like there was anything left to join. Vincent moved beside the other male, looking around the hall. The doors, collapsed, and the place a complete mess. He had been right when he had felt something off. "It's almost looks like they were attacked." He said, scratching his head. Who or what could have done this to an entire Guild? He wasn't sure if they had any enemies in other Guilds around, though squabbling between Guilds was not unheard of. Vincent went to one of the tables, and gently touched it. This whole situation was weird. He had come here to scout out his potential competition when he was on jobs, but it felt like now he was going to get sucked into something that had nothing to do with him. He should leave...before it was too late. Yet, oddly enough, Vincent found himself frozen in place. This was a real mystery, and it had been a while since he had much fun. And solving the mystery of an entire Guild vanishing sounded like a lot of fun.

East Forest - Phoenix Wing Guild Hall Phoenix Wing...a Mages guild. Vincent had never had any interest in joining a guild, in fact the sheer idea horrified him. He hated being around people, and enjoyed his solitary life as an assassin for hire. But the young man would be lying if he said he wasn't curious about them. It was always a good idea to check out the competition. As a freelance Mage, Vincent took many jobs, mostly involving assassinations. And of course, those who he would target would more often than not, have body guards. The really wealthy people he was sent to kill could afford to hire other Mages to protect them. And with how famous Phoenix Wing was becoming, he was sure he'd be running into at least a few of the Mages from the Guild sooner or later. So why not check them out? So as he made his way through the forest, hands in the pockets of his jeans, Vincent wondered what kind of people would be there. Guilds came in all shapes and sizes, he knew that much, and the people that filled them were usually as diverse as the guild names themselves. But as Vincent walked deeper into the forest, and closer to the Guild, he felt...uneasy. Almost as if something wasn't right in the area. His suspicions were almost all but confirmed as he found a single person standing in the doorway of the guild. He quickly hid behind a tree and observed the person for a moment. He couldn't see or hear anyone else in the general vicinity...where were all the Mages that filled up the Guild? "This isn't right..." Vincent whispered, finally coming from behind the tree. Hands in his pockets, he cautiously walked over to the lone person. "Hey, uh...you a member of Phoenix Wing?" He asked, keeping his voice casual.

Hope I am posting this in the right place >.> <.< Name: "White Lightning" Vincent BlackSabre Age: 19 Magic: "White Raijin" Magic. Essentially, Vincent uses a unique type of Lightning Magic. While he cannot generate electricity in his body directly, he is able to charge anything he touches with electricity, allowing him to do a variety of things. His favorite thing to do is charge the throwing knives he constantly carries around him. This increases the piercing power of the knives, allowing them to penetrate wood and even stone. However, Vincent is also able to travel through anything with an electrical current, whether it be something or someone he had charged with his touch, or even a light post, as an electrical current. If he has touched the spot over someones heart, he can pass through their heart as an electrical current, essentially causing cardiac arrest. The more things that Vincent passes through, the more charge his body can absorb, and as a last-resort, he can release the charge in his body, giving him unparalleled speed and strength for a short amount of time. But because this electricity was not generated from his body, but from an outside source, this does leave his muscles unable to function properly for a period of time, hence it being a last resort move. Magic Level: A History: Growing up in an orphanage, Vincent kept to himself most of the time. A loner by nature, he constantly watched as the children around him were adopted, while he remained left behind. As more and more children left, Vincent felt himself grow to resent everyone around him more and more, and finally, at the age to 10, he ran away from the Orphanage. Knowing that without money, he would eventually die, Vincent began to research magic, and developed his own kind of Magic, taking the principle of Lightning Magic he had read about, and creating his own twist. At first, he was horrible, and instead of taking jobs or joining a guild to gain money, he instead resorted to stealing food. But after five years of living like this, after five long years to trying to perfect his magic, he was finally able to use it. It was at the age of fifteen that Vincent realized that his magic was best suited for assassination. Fast, efficient, and most of all, quite. And so, he became a freelance Mage, taking on assassination jobs for a price. He was finally able to get off the streets and into a decent apartment, finally able to support himself. Finally, he was able to live properly. Personality: Vincent prefers to be alone, and dislikes large crowds. He is usually calm and collected, taking the time to study his targets and opponents carefully before making a move. He seems to have a certain liking for taking the lives of others, and can act quite sadistic at times, although this may be an act. He is believes in loyalty above all else, accepting payments only after his job is finished, and will allow any client to jip him. Team Members: None Three Strengths: 1. Good Marksmen: Due to the nature of his magic, Vincent relies on his throwing knives to get the job started. Because of this, he has trained for years to have a good eye, usually throwing 6 knives at a time with deadly accuracy. 2. Master of Magic: Due to training for years with his magic, and developing it himself, Vincent has almost complete mastery of his magic, able to completely understand how his magic works. 3. Strategist: Never rushing into a battle, Vincent always takes the time to study his opponents, carefully reading their movements, and can make counter-strategies. Three Weaknesses: 1. Loner: Vincent doesn't exactly work well with others, and prefers to be alone, which can get him into trouble. 2. Sadism: While not an actual Sadist, Vincent tents to act like one when he battles, due to the fact that he tries to cover up the loneliness he felt as a child. Because of this, it can be difficult to gain other's trust. 3. Over-Charge: If Vincent unleashes all the electricity his body gathers, he is left immobile for a while, due to his muscles being paralyzed. Not only is this very painful, but can spell trouble if facing multiple enemies. Greatest Love: Being an Assassin. Motivation: To be recognized by all. Appearance: Vincent stands tall at 5'9, with jet black straight hair, his bangs falling over his eyes slightly. His has a fair complexion, with Steel-Grey eyes. He is thin, but has a light layer of muscle built up from years of training. His attire consists of a white shirt underneath a full-length black leather trench-coat, green and purple fingerless gloves, blue jeans, and black army boots. Additional Details: With a little love and trust, he can easily become a great ally. It just takes time.

Devil's Insurgence: Interest Check and Sign-Up

Welcome to the land of Novum. It is a prosperous Continent, often called an Eden. Rolling hills, vast valleys, and treacherous mountains separate the many human settlements that dot the land. The largest of which is the Capital City... Residing within the Capital City lies the famous Academy, a place where people young and old come to train to become what many people call Hunters. You see, Humans do not live in Novum alone. No, they share it with a multitude of other species. There is of course the Elves, emotionless beings who keep to themselves, living far away from the Human settlements. But there is also the vast variety of wildlife that frequent wilds. Some are harmless to humans, keeping to themselves and living peacefully. But some are more ferocious, entering small villages and causing havoc. These are the creatures that certified Hunters are hired to take care of. There is something, however, that only the most skilled of Hunters will take on. For you see, everything that is beautiful casts a bright light. And every light has its shadow. For Novum, that shadow is what people call Demons. No one knows exactly where the Demons originated from, only that they have been plaguing humanity for as long as anyone can remember, killing and maiming for fun and pleasure. Only Hunters of great skill are capable of killing even the weakest of Demons, thus having the reward for those jobs incredibly high. The Academy not only teaches you how to fight, but how to survive. When you graduate, you will become a certified Hunter, able to take any jobs you see fit, and if you are skilled enough, perhaps even you can take on the vile Demon horde...At least, that is how it should be. Recently, students have been vanishing from the Academy, leaving no trace behind. Something is happening within the Academy walls, something that threatens the very existence of Novum, and the human race itself. Will you rise up and fight the oncoming darkness, or will you fall and just vanish like the rest? Character Sheet: Name: Age: (You can be pretty much any age within reason in this RP. The Academy accepts all but toddlers and the extremely frail. You have the skill, then you can enter) Gender: Race: (Human and Half-Elf are both acceptable races here. Since, in most cases, full Elves are emotionless, that would be pretty hard to portray, but Half-Elves are totally fine) Appearance: (Picture or Description is both totally fine here) Personality: Equipment: (If you are gonna fight, you are going to need the right gear. This is a fantasy setting, so of course swords, axes, lances, and all that stuff are a given. HOWEVER, guns are also allowed. Nothing too over the top like automatic weapons mind you, but hand guns and rifles are perfectly fine. They can also be modded if you so wish. Just nothing over powered. MagiTech is also a thing. Natural magic is rare in none-elves, but you can have MagiTech gear. If you aren't familiar with MagiTech, then it is pretty much man-made magic imbued in a weapon or armor. So for example: You can have a Revolver that can Substitute Ice or Fire for actual rounds. Just keep in mind that MagiTech is would take a toll on the user, so using over and over again would cause harm to your character. Again, just nothing over the top here. This would also include any armor your character wears). Skills: (This goes hand-in-hand with your equipment. How does your character use their weapons? Do they have any special skills or techniques? Hello there everyone! I'm HeartlessAngel, nice to meet you. I've been RPing since my early teens, so I have a lot of experience with it. I suppose I should say a few things about myself, so everyone can get a sense of who I am. Well... I have my own Youtube Channel where I upload a lot of Pokemon Content (WiFi battles and theories). I am sort of an Otaku, my favorite genres being Action and Romantic Comedy (Two of my most recently watched anime were ToraDora! and Akame Ga Kill!). I love reading and writing, and of course RPing! I'm typically a very friendly nonchalant kind of guy, and I look forward to RPing with you guys!
