A smile found its way back to her lips as she heard the words that came from Rachel. Max was happy whenever she could help a friend by finding solutions. Even through she had not the knowledge of a real relationship it was as if something always would come up to her mind. When it would be time for her to think of something for her own relationship she knew as hell that the ideas from now would never cross her mind. Well, when there even would be a time where someone would be by her side in this way. Warren crossed her mind for a split second but Max was fast in shaking that thought away. Aside from that her eyes oberserved Rachel for a bit as she brushed her hair behind her ear. It was obvious that Rachel knew that she was good looking and Max would never deny that, too. Sometimes it wondered her that someone like Rachel was into someone like Frank. But love always find its way and therefore it shouldn't wonder her that much.
Before she could overthink it too much as always, Rachel spoke up again and it took her by surprise all over again. That question was something that was often on her mind since all the events happened and it was hard for her to find an absolute anwser. You never know what the future can bring up but somehow Max knew what her anwser should be and always will be. Even when her parents would be upset. "I will see that I can get a job nearby so that I can still hang out with you guys. It was hard for me to leave everything and everyone behind six years ago and I do not think that I can do it all oer again. I do not even want to leave again." Maybe a job was there waiting for her nearby when she was done with school and if not she would find another way. She would never leave again as far as she can tell by now and she even would promise it.
It was clear that Rachel was concerned and Max understood it very well. She wasn't mad at Rachel for asking it. Slowly she noded to the further one and raised up from her seat right after Rachel. Maybe it was for the best to go and see how Chloe was doing and Max also could need some fresh air now. To Rachel's question she looked a bit thoughtful as she was going through the options. "I would like to go to the junkyard." Somehow it was a nice place to chill even when Max liked the old tracks the most since it looked somehow nice. Maybe she could take some shots there because some of them she could still use for the project with Kate. And she couldn't wait to work on that with her tomorrow.
Slowly Max followed Rachel to the door and never missed that some of the people here looked up to her as she passed by. It would be a wonder when Rachel wouldn't become a model, because she was beautiful and a nice person. Through it was hard to get such a job here in Arcadia Bay. "You can count on us. Bye Joyce." She slightly held up a hand to wave goodbye to Joyce before Max followed Rachel outside.
The fresh air was something nice and Max took in a deep breath while she still followed Rachel over to Chloe. Max didn't like the smell of cigarettes still but it was something she could life with. As well as with the two of them trying to get her into beer what also was a thing that Max didn't like. She did take a sip but it tasted awful and that is a reason for her to never touch that again. Chloe and Rachel could try anything but Max woul always refuse to trink that evil stuff. "I thought we can go to the junkyard and hang out there a little." Max was fast to anwser that. Her eyes overlooked Chloe for a small moment to make sure that she was feeling better and Max was relieved to see that Rachel was right.
