Bio

A writer, artist, animator, worldbuilder. In short, jack of all trades, master of some.

For the most part, I've retired from roleplaying. For quite a long time, what kept me tied to RPG was the Spam community—but even that I have distanced myself from. Now, my focus is on the writing contests.

I consistently try to write reviews for RPGC, and I consistently enter the Twelve Labours.

First labour; world of Archipelago, Jack.
Challenge: an unwelcome death.
For next entry: characterization.

Second labour; world of Uberpowered, Émile.
Challenge: an unfortunate fortune.
For next entry: pacing.

Third labour; world of Cinderlore, Caerys.
Challenge: an unforgiving ambition.
For next entry: proofreading.

Fourth labour; world of Supers, Joshua.
Challenge: an uncompromising betrayal.
For next entry: development.

Fifth labour; world of Mutamorphis, Olrich.
Challenge: an unrepressed motive.
For next entry: development, dammit.

Sixth labour; world of Mythos, Melas.
Challenge: an untenable alliance.
For next entry: dénouement.

Seventh labour; world of Hatemongers, Talahn.
Challenge: an unbearable sacrifice.
For next entry: cast utilization.

Eigth labour; world of Mythica, Céline.
Challenge: an unwinnable challenge.
For next entry: plot cohesion.

Ninth labour; world of Nardja, Albiorn.
Challenge: an unknowing accomplice.
For next entry: narrative set-up.

Tenth labour; world of Magestones, Ariana.
Challenge: an unwilling inspiration.
For next entry: narrative set-up, dammit.

If I was actually in this situation, I'd probably do a mixture of these three things.
  1. Flee and try to find some basic survival needs.

  2. Anyone I meet try to "ally" with in the sense that we don't kill each other or anyone. If they have the means, offer them the opportunity to kill me in as painless a way as possible.

  3. Find a nice tool or location with which to commit to painless suicide.

Mostly the first one, because I'd be too scared to trust people not to slit my throat or whatever. Please, just shoot me between the eyes or bash my head in with one clean blow. It's all I ask.

If y'all want some constructive criticism about your writing, just ask. I've noticed a few of you are making repeated mistakes that could be alleviated if it was simply pointed out, I think.

If you happen to have any already in mind for me, I'd be happy to receive it. However, if you'd have to go and do extensive analysis of my posts, no need to bother. I'm sure you'll be getting lots of requests.

I'd be up for it.

Or down for it.
Is that... A compliment?
I'm one hell-of-a dishwasher.

Y'all might be eating. But I have clean dishes.

I ended up leaving the RPG group. My iPad would lag every time I opened skype, and I never had anything to contribute...*wishes Spam used an IRC channel instead.*

I like to be able to read everything I miss.

Every little detail, every cover-up, every secret.

As for lagging, aye, the mobile apps are horrible for iPad and iPod Touch. Can't handle all that data. When I need to use them, I just keep opening and crashing them until they figure it out. Usually only takes four crashes before they're up to date.
My quick off-the-top-of-my-head ordering for development and research. I noticed most of these seem non-pilot oriented, though I guess that's why we have our own scrap.

Legionaire
Shield
Mechanical Warhorse
Alpha
Plushie

Nano
Fire Starter
Omega
Variable Structure
Ntap 2.0

Although I don't like killing terrorists for research purposes.

90 econ, 76 civil rights, 74 political freedoms, aw yea. Gonna get them all up even higher.

Volkshire: 30CR, 9Econ, 24PF
Top 5% for most Authoritarian. (world)
Volkshire was designed to be a conservative and extremely war-oriented culture. Unforgiving, isolationist, etc.

Holmishire: 54CR, 40Econ, 30PF
Holmishire is obviously the heart of the four, and was designed as mostly conservative while always trying to help people out. My most balanced nation, though some tough calls were made due to setting, such as intolerance towards homosexuality.

The Shire-Lords: 13CR, 77Econ, 1PF
Top 5% for most Authoritarian, top 10% for most Extreme. (world)
The Shire-Lords, self-titled capital of my nations, was designed to be very corrupt and [i]very[i] paranoid. No protection from the poor, abusing everyone, and banning whatever they can.

Rurmel: 72CR, 15Econ, 71PF
Rurmel was designed to be the trade centre, and is the most progressive of them all, while also trying to make good business. Unfortunately, by trying too hard to make everybody better off, their economy is largely failing.

All of my nations are based off of the most important cities/villages of a nation in a book I'm working, set in a medieval period. Not a one of them represents my personal ideals in their entirety; a mixture of Holmishire and Rurmel would be pretty close, though.

EDIT: I'm working on stomping out that one political freedom. ;]
