Decker stands at the standard android height of 6'2" (1.87m), 6'4" (1.93m) in armour, and has glowing blue optics. Despite his age, he still appears as a young man in his mid to late twenties due to synthetics lacking the biological ageing process in humans. On a side note, Decker is never seen without his armour, and he only removes it in extremely rare circumstances such as formal meetings. It is also due to the fact that he sees no need to remove it, due to not needing sleep and comfort.

Personality: Having lost most of his memory besides basic information on combat and how to operate technology, Decker is unable to remember most of his life before the crash, and as such, he is somewhat naïve and curious about things and tries to help out wherever he can. Despite this, he can still be a deadly adversary in combat due to possessing the strength of multiple humans and his enhanced reflexes. He can also be a lot more mature if need be. He will go to great lengths to get his memory back.

Weapons and Equipment:

• ACAR-38: The standard issue assault rifle for every Marine. It, like all other kinetic weapons of the UEGNC, uses a coil propulsion system to fire 8.41x63mm armour-piercing rounds at incredible speeds and range. It has a selective fire mode and can fire single shots, burst shots, and full auto. Comes with an undermounted grenade launcher and holds sixty rounds.
• G119: Standard issue sidearm for UEGNC Marines. Holds fifteen 10mm rounds in its magazine. Decker carries two of these.
• E31 Homing Grenade: Frag grenades that home in onto targets when thrown and detonate.
• 7-inch Durasteel Combat Knives: A pair of combat knives able to cut through armour.
• Gen 1 Android Sonic Cannon: Decker can transform his right arm into a powerful energy weapon that shoots blasts of extremely high-powered sound waves. Though not as powerful as later versions, this weapon is still able to inflict a massive amount of damage.
• Modified Combat Armour: A set of powered armour modified and worn by Decker with improvements to movement systems and sensors.

Skills and Abilities:

• Pinpoint Calculations: Due to having a supercomputer for a brain, Decker can perceive the world in slow-motion, and can perform complex calculations in microseconds.
• Marksmanship: Processing millions of calculations per second, Decker can predict the movement of targets and fire with extreme accuracy.
• Advanced Hydraulics: Military Combat Androids all have advanced hydraulic systems, allowing them to have the strength five humans.
• Heavy Mettle: Due to being programmed with multiple combat styles, Decker is a deadly combatant in close combat, which itself is supplemented with his superhuman strength.
• Android Durability: Thanks to Decker's nanocomposite duratanium endoskeleton and bulletproof synthetic skin layer, he is far more durable than normal humans, being able to shrug off most blows and impacts.
• Photographic Memory: Androids are able to process and store information such as faces, maps, and files.
• Reactor Overload: Decker overloads his microfusion reactor, which provides him a temporary boost of power, increasing his speed and strength. However, he overheats quickly, and needs to cool down every so often. Overloading too much has to potential to self-destruct with the power of a small nuke.

Personality: Somewhat hot-headed. Likes explosions and isn't afraid to get his hands dirty as long as it gets him a large paycheck at the end of the day. Despite his usual gruffness, he at least has enough morals not to shoot and kill random civilians, something even Marines aren't spared from. He is known to be rather positive at times, often delivering quips in the heat of battle. However, he is also quick to become stern and serious when the situation gets awry. Other than this, he is also painfully sarcastic at times.

History: Like most modern mercenaries, Lance was a former Marine who served for four years before leaving. He fought in several conflicts over the years, most notably the Colonial Uprising, a war fought between the United Earth Government and the Sovereign Colonies, human colony worlds that did not want to be part of the UEG. The war had been dragging on for almost two centuries as of 2841, and it didn't look like it was going to end any time soon.

With the war waging on, millions of Marines were deployed to battlefields each day, and Lance was one of those sent to fight. The heaviest fighting normally took place on the colonies further away from Earth, with the rebels controlling much of the territory. The UEG's military, the United Earth Government Naval Command, struggled to control the rebels. Lance saw some of the heaviest fighting and participated in numerous battles.

Eventually, he left the Marines and became a freelance mercenary, purchasing his own ship and armour with what money he had. There, he worked for whoever paid best. While he wasn't exactly very well-known, he was still prolific enough for weaker colonies constantly getting raided by pirates and rebels to hire him. He fulfilled contract after contract, earning himself a decent sum of money in the process.

He had just completed a contract and was heading to a nearby world for some R&R when his ship experienced a hyperdrive malfunction, forcing him to come back to realspace above an uncharted planet. With nowhere else to go, he decides to land on it to explore.

Weapons and Equipment:

• ACAR-38: The standard issue assault rifle for every Marine, available for civilian purchase. It, like all other kinetic weapons of the UEGNC, uses a coil propulsion system to fire 8.41x63mm armour-piercing rounds at incredible speeds and range. • G121: Pistol that fires 10mm rounds.
• E31 Homing Grenade: Frag grenades that home in onto targets when thrown and detonate. Can also be used as a conventional grenade and contact grenade.

Skills and Abilities: Lance is a trained soldier, being handy with his assault rifle and just about any other firearm. He is somewhat skilled in hand-to-hand combat, although he prefers to stay at range. He is a skilled technician and mechanic, quickly repairing any mechanical faults he finds, and be fairly personable and friendly enough.

Cutter: Cutter is Lance's A.I. assistant. He is a standard A.I. construct that takes the appearance of a man wearing a set of powered armour, minus the helmet. He is sarcastic and somewhat playful, and his holographic projection is grey.

Hard Reset (Sci-Fi/Fantasy crossover idea)

Here's an idea I've wanted to do for quite a long time.

In the distant future, humans have invented FTL travel and colonised hundreds of planets and blah blah blah, you know, standard Sci-Fi stuff. However, this is where the fun starts.

In this RP, my character is a decommissioned military android who now works as a freelance mercenary. He has been doing his job quite well for a fairly long time, and was heading towards the location of his latest job when his ship suddenly suffers a hyperdrive malfunction, forcing him out of hyperspace and depositing him in the skies of an uncharted planet. His ship, damaged from the sudden transition, loses control and crashes into a forest. The crash damages his systems and causes him to lose his memory.

Meanwhile, on the planet itself, which is your average fantasy world with dragons and elves and stuff, your character, a freelance knight or something, happens to witness the crash. Curious, she travels to the crash site, where she encounters my character, who is laying inactive on the ground close by and rebooting, having been thrown out/bailed out. The story unfolds from there.

The sound of the Range Rover's engine and the rushing of water were the only sounds in the surrounding area, if one were do ignore the commotion in the distance. "Well, yeah," Mountain replied as if it were the most obvious thing in the world with a hint of annoyance in his voice. "This is a Range Rover, man! It was built for this kind of thing." He stepped on the gas, the car accelerating at a rapid rate and creating Kelvin wake patterns as it pushed through the water. Mountain took one hand off the wheel to adopt a thinking position. "Hmm, artefact, huh?" He smirked. "And a reward? Heh, you have my attention."

Nearing the intersection, Mountain suddenly pulled on the handbrake and twisted the wheel to the left. Immediately, the car lurched to the side as Mountain performed an impressive powerslide; a perfect ninety-degree turn. Waves generated by the sudden turn crashed into sides of buildings lining the road as he stepped on the gas, the car speeding off without a hitch as its Maxxis Buckshot MT754 offroad tyres easily gripped the submerged road surface. Mountain pulled out his HTC and attached it to a convenient phone holder on the windscreen. He switched it on and opened up Google Maps. There was a location ping somewhere up ahead, a quest marker. Location plotted, he returned to the announcer.

"Alrighty! I got the location plotted up ahead. You mind telling me what the place and artefact look like, though?"

Abilities:

• Armour Lock: Calhoun's armour locks up and deploys an unbreakable shield for a few seconds. During this time, he is unable to move, and the shield produces an EMP effect once depleted.
• Shoulder-Mounted Homing Missiles: Two racks of six homing micromissiles each unfold from Calhoun's shoulders. Each one can penetrate armour and kill. It is most effective against soft targets, and is ineffective against tougher armour.
• Tactical Superiority: Calhoun has a great tactical mindset.
• Model Soldier: Jackson is what a model Marine should be, with steel in his eyes and grit in his teeth. As such he inspires his allies to fight, making them more effective in combat.
• Ibimus Primum: As one of the UEGNC's best commanders, Calhoun's loyalty and willpower are simply unfathomable. He is highly resistant to mental effects, and only feels a slight tingling sensation, although he can still fall victim to stronger ones.

Fighting Style: As a master of modern warfare, Calhoun is an expert marksman and tactician. He knows exactly what to do in the heat of battle, and he can normally be seen standing in the area with the heaviest fighting, barking out orders to his men. He is incredibly handy with his BXR-12 rifle, being able to shoot and kill someone from a far distance, even without his armour's aim assist function. Despite this, he is also a skilled hand-to-hand combatant, easily tussling and throwing enemies aside.

Personality: Blunt, cynical, and known for his rather brutal methods for dealing with prisoners, he is rightfully feared by numerous rebel groups in the Colonial Uprising. He maintains a no prisoners policy most of the time, and will not hesitate to shoot unarmed men and women. This earned him the nickname 'Carnage'.

Despite his constant brutality, he is also a model soldier, never backing down even in the face of danger. Not one to give up, he will do whatever it takes to acomplish his goals, even if it means dying. He radiates an aura of pure leadership wherever he goes, inspiring his men to fight by his side. It is unknown how he does this, but according to official records, his men are twice as effective in combat than any other unit.

Bio: Jackson was born on the UEG colony world of Cascade in 2789 to the legendary Calhoun family, a family that has been in the military for centuries. His father, a captain in the Marines, brought him up with military teachings like how to shoot a gun, how to hold a knife, and how to operate a drone. Growing up, he aspired to be like his father, and his grandfather, a major in the Marines.

Eventually, he was qualified for the prestigious Skanderbeg Academy of Military Science on planet Tempest, a world that was basically a giant fortress. Military installations dotted the planet and tanks and trucks were just as common as the cars there, and almost everyone who lived in the planet's cities was a soldier. Here, he spent several years as a cadet before graduating and joining the Marines.

He quickly rose up the ranks thanks to his brilliant tactical mindset, and fought in the Colonial Uprising. During a battle on the faraway colony of Reunion that was almost entirely controlled by the Coalition of Independent Colonies, he took a high-explosive armour-piercing missile directly to the chest. He was a captain during that time, and he was busy commanding his troops.

While his duratanium armour took most of the impact, the projectile still went through, and blew off most of the left side of his body. By some miracle, he was alive and rushed to a hospital ship orbiting the planet. He stayed there for a while, waiting for replacement body parts to be grown in the vats in the ship. During this time, he reflected on the battle.

When he recovered after getting replacement body parts and organs, he immediately requested to be sent back down, despite orders to go home. Not having any of it, he suited himself up and took an orbital drop pod down to the planet surface. Landing, he managed to reunite with his company and fought with a ferocity unlike any before.

Eventually, he managed to capture the city that was being used as a base for the CIC in the star system, signifying UEGNC victory. There were some rebels who attempted to surrender, but were immediately mown down by the angry Calhoun. While this act is completely legal, it is often frowned upon, but his act of disobeying orders was punishable by death.

However, instead of putting him on trial, the UEGNC gave him a Medal of Honour for his outstanding bravery, and gave him a field promotion all the way to Colonel. It was something that had not happened in decades. He still continues to fight to this day, taking command of the 41st Special Combat Unit.

When the alien empire known as the Vaskran Hierarchy attacked Cascade in 2843, he was part of the response force made up of more than a million Marines assembled to counterattack. As always, he lead his troops against the enemy, though the fight was much tougher due to fighting an enemy with unknown advanced weapons, not a rag-tag militia. While the Vaskrans would be pushed from the planet, it sparked a new war: humanity against alien. Seeing this as a chance to fight a real enemy, Calhoun fought in many battles over the next two years.
