I'm back to Roleplayer Guild after a long hiatus and would like to get into a (or several) roleplay. My interests lie pretty heavily in Star Wars, so my current preference for 1x1 is pretty much exclusively that. I'm a fan of the franchise as a whole, so I'm open to a broad range of timelines, plots, character pairings, etc.

I am looking more for a Casual to Advanced level of roleplaying. I don't need paragraphs upon paragraphs in responses, but a line or two is not enough. I enjoy the more realistic take on Star Wars, which means a more mature type of roleplay. Violence, cursing, sex, all are fair game. I'm a male and mostly play male characters, but I have a few female characters written up that I wouldn't mind roleplaying, although I won't do a FxM romance where I'm playing the female, sorry haha.

Below are some ideas I have, but if you have your own, do not hesitate to suggest it:

1) Imperials (Galactic Civil War era): Our characters are two Imperial officers/officials (open to different options) who are sent to a backwater planet with a low-level local resistance (unaffiliated with the Alliance). Far away from the galactic core, we are sent to reorder things on the planet and get the resistance under control. How, and even whether, we do so is up to us.

2) Smugglers (Galactic Civil War era): Our characters are two low-level smugglers working for a crime syndicate in the Outer Rim. When Imperial customs ships arrive at a drop point that was supposed to be secret, it becomes clear that someone, perhaps even the syndicate leader himself, has sold us out. We have to strike out on our own to survive, make our fortune, and eventually get revenge.

3) Jedi/Sith (New Sith Wars, MxF only): My character is a Jedi during the New Sith Wars, serving in Lord Rohlan Hoth's Army of Light. Your character is a Sith Lady whom I end up capturing in our first battle against each other. Under orders, I have to transport you back to a Republic prison for incarceration. However, we must contend with Sith assassins come to either rescue or eliminate you to prevent you divulging any information to the Republic, as well as other unsavory characters and even Republic forces who wish to see you dead, all the while with our conflicting worldviews colliding. This plot should end up featuring some sort of romance, and as such I will only do MxF.

As I said earlier, I'm open to other suggestions as well, so just reply here or PM me if interested.

Star Wars: A Chance to Break

Silara Rudder leaned her left shoulder against the wall of the docking bay, her left leg crossed back over her right and resting on the toes of her foot, her arms crossed over her chest. She glanced down at her chronometer on her wrist, noting that there were still a few minutes until the person she was contracted to transport was supposed to be there, but she was already getting impatient. Silara made a habit of arriving early to wherever she was, normally because there was at least a moderate commission for getting goods in early, but she had to remind herself that not everyone ran on such a tight schedule.

Felen Laretik had told her to come to this city-covered planet, Jutrand, home to many large corporations, to meet another employee of the Laretik Syndicate, the Zabrak's crime ring. Where this person was going and what they were doing was kept a mystery from Silara, not that she really cared as long as the credits arrived; Felen had said she would be handsomely rewarded for this, which seemed odd given it was such a simple job, but then again she did not stress too much if the pay was good. While she waited, Silara let her mind begin to wander, thinking about what she would do with the "handsome" reward which had been promised to her. She had been saving up over the past months, and a nice apartment somewhere began to appear more and more possible with every passing job. Not that she would stop smuggling, of course, as she had not quite figured out the galactic stock market yet. However, somewhere to be able to truly call home and go back to when she wanted would be a welcome change from living out of her ship, as much as she loved it.

Hey there, Hotshot here. I'm an unabashed Star Wars buff, and almost all of my roleplays occur in that universe. I am currently only in 1 roleplay on this new site, and am looking to pick up at least one more. Below are some plots that I would like to roleplay, but feel free to add to them, or to come up with your own plots if you think I would be interested in it. First the rules, then the plots.

1) Please don't get into a roleplay with me unless you are committed to seeing it to the end.
2) On that note, if for some reason you cannot or do not want to continue, please do me the courtesy of letting me know, rather than just disappearing. Nothing is more classless than to just disappear without saying anything because someone is too cowardly to be honest.
3) I like to roleplay things realistically, so no uber-powerful abilities, no perfect characters, et cetera. Characters with flaws, who aren't perfect, are what interest me. One guy mowing down thirty enemies does not.
4) I only to MxF romances, and only when I am playing the male. I do occasionally have some female characters, for purposes of expanding my in-universe "family" of characters, and may be open to FxF when doing that. Romance is NOT necessary.
5) Cursing, violence, gore, and sex are not things I shy away from, but, like romance, these things are NOT necessary. I am ok with mature topics and nothing is off-limits.

So now some plots:

--Infiltrate and Destroy: This is a military-themed special forces roleplay. We would be New Republic Special Forces soldiers who are given a mission to infiltrate an Imperial fortress world and destroy a high-payoff target in order to set conditions for the Republic to invade and capture the planet. However, the planet's defenses are not all they seem to be, and we find ourselves far deeper into a situation than we initially ever expected.

--Search and Rescue: Another military-themed roleplay. Again, New Republic Special Forces, although you might play a pre-made character from my character's history; his love interest who is serving as an intelligence officer. The intelligence officer is captured on a mission and must be rescued by my character before she is interrogated and executed by the Empire.

--The Underworld: This is a roleplay where we would both play characters on the wrong side of the law. I have a smuggler character, but you could be a smuggler, a bounty hunter, or any other underworld-type character. We get betrayed by the crime boss we work for, and set out to make a fortune on our own while simultaneously getting revenge on the crime boss.
