Piece Type: Wallpaper

Stock Images:

Size: desktop wallpaper size... 1920x1080?

Text: 2 lines of text. The title of the piece would be Lucid. Font "Garamond" (for both the lines). 2nd line of text would be a set of lines:
"There is nothing
but The Dreams".

Details: Alright... I'll be as specific as possible. Essentially I wish to use the set of characters from the first picture and implant them into the background of the second picture. Keep the characters (sitting ones) from the second pics there unless it looks very unnatural to keep them, in which case just cover them or something. I love the color scheme of the 2nd pic (the setting sun and the beautiful and fantastical landscape really is nice) but the floating disk designs are a little too radical. Hence, if you can somehow implant the forest from the 3rd pic to cover up the floating disk parts, I think it'll be great, although keeping in the lakes would be awesome. Something that makes a little more "realistic" sense than the original 2nd pic but still has elements of fantasy I guess. As for the sky, the black pillar in the 2nd pic does bother me so if you can get rid of that in favor of a continuous sky, that would be good. And perhaps transplanting clouds over from the other 2 pics would be really nice, since the texture of the sky in the 2nd pic is a bit lacking.
The concept is that of a RPG party looking out into a beautiful scenery waiting for their next adventure.

To be quite honest, I'm not sure where the texts to go. It might ruin the image if implanted carelessly. But I think it'll be okay if you do the title on the left top side (not too big on size) and then the 2nd line on the bottom left side. Nothing too big obviously as the main focus is the scenery but just able to be read even when the picture is shrunk down to a smaller side.

Other: Good luck with your surgery! Going under the knife must be a bit... bleh. I think I went under the knife when I was around 12 and I don't remember any of it. So hopefully you won't remember it when you are older! (I'm not that old lol). Also I'm not sure what kind of compensations you prefer or what kind I can give to you so... yeah. Let me know if there is anything I can do for you though.

What do you mean by "former"?

I was toying with an idea about a nobleman's child who had been brought into the royal family to become a playmate for a young prince/princess (apparently this happened fairly often in history) but fell out of favor of the king as he/she grew up for some reason. Hence, the "former" noble. Of course, I'll flesh this idea out once you approve of the concept.
OP/Gm, would it be alright if I make a character who is a "former" child of noble/king?
Is it too late to sign up for this? I'd be interested. Reminds me of Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind.
I'm interested. Lucky 7~
I would be interested in the Pilgrims of the Void, if you'll have me ^^

Cool cool... sure, will be great to have you onboard, I'll put you down for the Void Walkers.

As you can see, I haven't translated everything over to NRP style rules so that might take be some time but I think it'll take some time to fill out all the spots. Once we generate enough interest, I'll post everything in the main thread.
Hello, I'm seeing if anyone is interested in a pre-written NRP based on sci-fi space warfare. Project Starlight was originally an attempt by me and several other people to create a miniature-tabletop warfare game similar to Battle Fleet Gothic (Warhammer 40k) or Firestorm Armada (I know, big dreams huh?). And I was wondering if it could make for an interesting NRP. This is my first time attempting NRP (also I'm new to the forum... haha, although I've done RP on other sites before) so please let me know if I'm doing anything to make myself look like a fool.

The background and nations are already written and established so players will be able to just pick a nation and role play with it on the spot without writing much up. Of course, where the players take their nations from the starting point is completely up to them, there is no set timeline or lore to comply with.
I have written down a BRIEF version of what we got so far, just so everyone can get a feel of the setting and if they want to join, which nation they wish to be. Obviously everything I have will have to be converted into a NRP style (stats, mechanics, rules, etc). I'll post the rest of the information if we have enough people interested.

I will be honest with this... since we are running with pre-set of untested stats and nations, balance of this might be very whack at first. However, I'm hoping this is a prototype trial run to figure out mistakes and fix them for the next edition of the game. I'm really hoping that you guys enjoy this enough to work with me on balancing the game to the point where it can be enjoyed with fairness for everyone eventually.

Without further delay... allow me to introduce to you, Starlight.

Starlight

The time is MMMXXXIII, also known as year 3033 AD. The human race has come far from its primitive origins and has made much progress, sailing the sea of stars as brave explorers and warriors. Discovering new worlds, meeting exotic aliens and making war upon those who disagree. However, they are not alone in this quest for dominance. Numerous opponents and challenges await, not just humanity but, any and all intelligent civilizations of the galaxy. Whether they will perish during the flames of war and conquest or rise to new glorious levels of prosperity and authority is completely up to you… commander.

Currently there are 6 factions competing for control:

This might be very unorthodox and unusual (I'm not sure if anyone else does this here) but... IF more than 6+ people show interest, I could implement a system in order to accompany everyone. For instance, in the current lore of the game, there are 3 branches of Drozelian "migrations" lead by 3 different leaders. On the other hand, if we have less than 6 people we could try cutting out a few factions or run them as NPCs (although I would not prefer that if I had the choice).
Hello, I'd be interested in joining. One quick question though, do you have a set time span for this? It sounds like you have a story line planned so will the RP eventually end when the players fulfill the original quest or is it meant to go on "as long as it can"?
Hoi. I'm NewMan. I'm supposed to be HueMan but since I just joined, feel free to call me NewMan for now.

Done some RP back in the days (I'm not that old actually).

Yeah.
