The sun is shining, the birds are singing, there's a few white fluffy clouds in the sky. I am closing the curtains and going back to bed.

Bio

I live somewhere in the wilds of East London with a couple of friends, a pet rat and a collection of RPG books that is slowly consuming our house. I've suggested possibly getting rid of some of them, but it's pretty much got to the point where the books are the only thing keeping the building upright and if I move any of them the whole thing could come crashing down.

In terms of games - well, I'll consider anything, except that. As can probably be gathered from my posts, I find myself generally playing characters that let me bit a little bit light-hearted. I am reasonably certain that I can play serious characters, but I know that getting to post things which makes me chuckle as I write them keeps me far more engaged. I like fandom-y things (because I can't, apparently, still get enough Undertale, Adventure Time and various Nintendo stuff, good job brain), and non-fandom-y things, and will one day get around to rebooting a RP I'd made on here seven years ago.

The RP also runs on the idea that all Myths, Legends, and Fairy Tales are true to some extent.

So, um, hey, would it be okay to play something from the Fables series..? Seeing as I finally got around to reading the last dozen or so comics in the main series, I'm feeling all inspired and what-not.
Glad to hear/read/see that this has got the interest it deserves! Looking forward to seeing what comes next (all the while wondering what sort of world I'd make or, more accurately I suppose, trying to narrow my options down a little!).
Hello! Kind of sad that this hasn't had more people going "oooh, this is a nice idea!" - so, oooh, this is a nice idea! The broad focus of establishing the world before going down to a narrower focus on the characters that represent them sounds like a lot of fun, and the amount of freedom available by establishing your world first should allow for some very fun and creative concepts to come out.

Please add me to the hopefully soon-to-grow pile of Interested Players!
I'm just not sure how many people actually want to join .

Hopefully plenty, it's a neat idea, and there's room for so many character concepts, and the light-hearted tone of the show should translate well into a game, and yeah. Bumpity-bumpity-bump-bump-bump.

This sounds interesting, though unlike @Natsucooldude I haven't really got much of a character concept, though the idea of some kind of "food scientist" chef Rainicorn would be fun, out to find new flavours ("Can happiness be a flavour?"), applying scientific rigour to help answer the burning culinary questions that plague the land ("Can ice cream be enjoyed by Flame People?") and so on.

Looking forward to seeing the mechanics you're coming up with for the game!
Hello. I'm new! I'm a bit unsure about all of this, but hoping to dive into the deep end and see what happens - I've done some roleplaying before, though it's mostly been sitting-around-a-table-with-friends-rolling dice sort of thing, and with folks moving away, it's got harder and harder to scratch that roleplaying itch. Kind of up for trying anything - as there's quite a lot of stuff on offer, I don't want to limit myself too much and miss out on something special.
