History: Qiuyue was born at sea, but her mother didn't survive the process. With no known family, as her mother seemed to be running away from something and paid handsomely to avoid giving any information about herself, and noone awaiting at the ship's destination she was orphaned. The Ship's captain raised her for the first decade of her life. This hardened her and taught her much, but it was when she stopped a brigand from attacking a woman on the docks of a major port city that her life truly begun.
That woman was Wushu Master Lin Mei, and she was impressed by the young girl's courage and cleverness. After a small period of traveling with Qiuyue and her adoptive father, Captain Ing, the master decided to take here on as a student. Lin Mei taught her apprentice much about combat, but she also taught her discipline via the skills that the girl had already been learning like fishing, navigation and the lore of the ocean.
Mei and Qiuyue have grown close. And Qiuyue has been granted the honor of using her teacher's surname. And she does so with great pride and affection. With the outbreak of a new war however, new worries are on the horizon. The two have heard much of the destruction that has been unleashed. Despite Qiuyue's eagerness to use her martial skills against the Wanqiang's forces, her teacher insists upon patience and restraint.
And so they have set off for Ten No Ha where a true plan of action can be formed by several Masters of Wushu acting in concert. Wether they like it or not, this is the best hope to bring down the current tide of conquest that is being unleashed from Huangdi di difang.
