The first episode might confuse a new watcher but its a fabulous anime, especially if you love scifi and such.

"My, My. Is the fun over already?" Alastair came back into view with smile on his face while carrying a cloth in one hand. He was going to ask the one they came to save but alas he stopped himself when he looked at the woman's face. In all his experience, in all the books and comics he read, when humans had that expression on their faces, they'd rather be left alone. Things obviously went wrong. Instead, he handed Anatasia the towel and left her to her devices.
Anyways, it looks like they brought someone back with them. A Furlyne, hmm? What a treat, don't see too many of them too often. With a smile ever present, he walked over to the cat and handed him a cup of royal milk tea. "Here you go, something to help you relax. Granted, it's re-heated but still good nonetheless. Name is Alastair," he said with a bow. "I'd made something to eat but I doubt there's anything edible left. After all, it has been 100 years. Maybe a raid is in order?" he chuckled thinking he made some kind of joke. Looking around, maybe he was mistaken.

After School
It was another horrendously boring day but she managed to get through it. The only saving grace was that golden week was nearing and boy could she use a nice break from everything. Her writing as been suffering as of late and all she has got going for her is kendo now. Well, Alexei extended an invite to his club, one that Inoue has extended before, so I guess there's that. With a heavy sigh, she made her way to the gym for Kendo practice.
Last time she had to make do with what the club had but this time around, she has her own gear. When she called up Akito, her older brother, with the request, she didn't expect him to get it here so quickly. That's Akito for you... Always coming through and then some... she smiled as she opened the door to the gym. Though a little early, she went to work cleaning up the place and getting it ready before the others arrived. She wanted to get in as much practice as possible today.
