Blair - Eidolic Cairn

After much searching around and interrogating of Order members she finally managed to get general direction to search in. It was made even simpler with the sudden fluctuation that came like a storm. This power....it can't be.... Alarmed with what she felt, she took off at full speed towards the direction it was coming from. When she arrived at the Cairn, her eyes went wide at the sight of the seal being completely destroyed.

Though, the surprise was more-so directed at who broke the seal than the fact it was broke in the first place. By all appearances that thing was human, but it clearly reeked of demon. For the first time in over a millennia, Blair found herself trembling in fear. She wasn't sure who he was but he felt familar and was someone that was enough to send chills down her spine. The one causing the distortions... It must be him.....but... it's impossible! Lord Mundus must know immediately...

Once the figure vanished from sight, she decided it would be best to flee. With the seal now destroyed, target identified, she needed to get out of there and report back to Lord Mundus. She should probably meet back up with Gideon but she was sure he'd crop back up eventually. With that out of the way, she made her way out of the Cavern and report back what she found out.

The plan just wasn't meant to be. While simple, it was their best chance at stopping the infinite spawning but they failed to account the extent of the master shadow's ability as it simply snapped its fingers and one of the swordsman was instantly by it's side and stopped Kazuki's attack. This is never going to end, will it? They can easily beat down the shadows individually, but they just don't have the endurance to fight an endless shadow wave. If they were going to beat this thing, they needed an attack that would hit them all at once or this will never end.

Just when things were looking bad, Rui and Kotori showed up. With them here, it looks like they have already finished on their end. While thankful for their aid, Akane couldn't help but feel disappointed that they needed their help after all. With a sigh, she shrugged it off while giving a nod in confirmation of Rui's order. Summoning Setanta, she casted Rakukaja on Rui while having Setanta cast Matarukaja.

The humans are quite active today. She thought calmly as she cut down another soldier while in deep thought, with more looking on in horror. I need to hurry. Coming back to reality, she turned to the soldiers with a fierce glare as if telling them to stop wasting her time. Slightly intimidated, they charged at her. Readying her spear, she pierced the gut of the first attacker before kicking him into his comrades and breaking their charge. Not wasting anytime, she went after the first one to get up thrusted the spear into his back, going right through him, barbs and all, hoisted him into the air and hurled him hard into the wall of the ruins. 2 dead, 2 to go.

Despite being outmatched, the remaining 2 members of the human patrol unit didn't retreat. Honorable, but still wasting your time.... and mine. With them shifting to the defensive and hearing more voices in the distance, Blair knew that if she stayed here any longer, more of her time will be wasted. She had a mission to complete, after all. Using their defensive tactics to her advantage, she easily managed to get distance on them and used that chance to summon 2 more blood golems, this time with her own blood. Unlike the Scout Types from before, these were Defense Types. Not much in the way of offensive power, these ones will mostly defend and wear the opponent down before attacking/draining the exhausted opponent. That should keep them busy.

Turning towards the other direction, she quickly forgot the other 2 soldiers existed and left the scene and continued her search. Time to go find the target.

Just going to write a vague shit post and leave it open so Blair will be fair game to encounter/fight. Since I keeep forgetting to post and get her involved, I can't just have her show up near the gate/where all the action is, after all.

"Got It." She nodded as she charged in. As she moved closer, Matt and Noboru went on the attack against their respective foes allowing Akane to focus on the bodyguards. Now within range of the bodyguards, it was time for her part of the plan. Well, here it goes nothing. Tasked for distracting and holding them off enough for Kazuki to slip past, there was only one attack that could do the job.

Calling for Setanta once more, she called for a Kill Rush as she went in herself to provide support.

"There's no end to them." Akane growled with obvious irritation. Her defensive strategy backfired and it clearly showed. To defeat these enemies they needed to go on the offensive and fast. If they were going to make some headway in this battle, they needed to stop that shadow from handing out that money of his. "We need a distraction, someone to draw their fire, hold up the body guards long enough for one to get in and stop the money transfer."

If they manage to cut off the shadows hands, will it help? Or will the shadows regenerate them? Turning to Kazuki, "I'm more than willing to be the bait if need be." She offered. If Matt and Noboru deal with the other enemies while they deal with Bodyguards and main shadow....might help. Either way, they needed to come up with something until Megumi can get a proper scan on them.

Needing more firepower, she cast a Matarukaja to give everyone a much needed boost.

Blair could only sigh in disappointment as stood over the corpses of the humans she was tailing. "Worthless...." she muttered to herself upon finding out they knew nothing. Having grown tired of the tedious chore of searching manually, she did what she should've done from the start. Much time wasted... Having drained the corpses of blood, she put that blood to work by using her special magic. "With this blood, I give you life, now rise!" she chanted as the blood began to pool and four golems began to raise out of it and line up in front of her.

These golems were her 'scout type' golems, so suffice to say, they weren't exactly strong, enough for the average human, though. Given their numbers, they were on the small side for a golem, being slightly below the height of the average human and weren't entirely intelligent either, like soldier ants that are guided only by order of their 'queen'. Though, they didn't need to be. For these zombie-like golems were designed to relay information upon the golem's expiration or destruction, making them highly useful.

"Now go!" With the simple command, the golems in front of her dispersed in different directions. "Now then...." she looked into the distance as she went on about her way.

As she continued her search, Blair was brought to a stop. Apparently, a 'human' had engaged one of her golems. With a surge of new information, she turned towards the direction of the now-destroyed golem. With a grin, she picked up her pace and soon found herself at some Ancient Ruins. "So it's here...." She walked into the ruins. @Kafka Komedy
