"Nothing like having Air Strike Support," mused Akane after seeing Zeke come in and bomb the monkies sky high, clearly amused by the sight. It definitely makes things less irritating, that's for sure. And with the veil around the boss having faded, it meant that the other team has succeeded at the shrine and that they can finally finish things.

With the end in sight, Rui gave the command and began the final push. As everyone began unleashing a flurry of attacks, Akane called forth Setanta for one final attack. "Vile Assault!" she commanded as she went in herself, Katana in hand, for her own strike.

While they have managed to cut down a number of the swarm, this battle is going nowhere. While the onslaught of monkies doesn't even seem close to ending, the leader monkey just doesn't seem to want to go down. They keep attacking and attacking it but it keeps on fighting as if their attacks meant nothing. Though, Megumi would then shed light on this fact saying that strange veil around it is not only constantly healing its wounds but also is keeping it's weaknesses from taking effect.

Kind of like it's got an anti-most or whatever on, huh?

It also appears that this battle will never end unless the other group is able to destroy that shrine they ran into, somehow allowing the monkey to be taken down. This will be A battle of endurance, they just need to keep holding on for a little longer.

The cellar was dark and bloody as expected. Blair should probably be thankful that the place is littered with blood, like some sort of all-you-can-eat buffet but with all abominations walking about (weak and young as they are) and the fact that their blood tastes disgusting, she just wants to hurry it up and get this over with. Moving on, she continued advancing through the cellar slaying more and more of those things.

While it was indeed annoying, through their groaning, she was able to confirm the scout morph's suspicious. There was indeed a demon at work here and a powerful one. In their groaning the word 'Madama' slipped out and that was enough to confirm it. That specifically was a title given to especially powerful demon in Queen Sheba's domain. Sheba huh.... A lot of thoughts were running through her head but deemed them unimportant or a waste of time.

Picking up the pace, Blair began searching through the rooms, making sure to be thorough before eventually finding the way out of the cellar.

Their timing is as perfect as always, as the moment Rui said it, the enemy made it's move. Well, it wasn't the 'passive' women shadows, but a gang of monkies instead. Monkies and hot springs....are we stuck in some cliche ecchi anime or something? With a sigh, she lifted up her katana and assumed her battle stance.

Before making her move, she called forth Setanta and casted Matarukaja, raising the teams defense. Usually primates are usually depicted in games and what not for having a good deal of attack power, so until Megumi gets a better read on the monkey leader, Akane figured she'd remain cautious until they find out for sure. Never underestimate an enemy until you're sure of all they can do.

With that casted, katana in hand, charged towards the nearest monkey, taking advantage of Sato's as they were thrown into confusion.

Their joint attacks successful, the knight's breastplate shattered, with the rest crumbling away soon after and revealed a person underneath it. Luckily, the person was only unconscious and wasn't in any grave danger. Afterwords, they contacted Kazuki, who will come to pick up the unconscious man and get him out of there while they continued onwards.

Reaching the 2nd floor, they arrived at what seemed to be a bathhouse. The more they wandered about, the more it became clear that they probably happened upon the women's bath, if the 'naked' shadows taking a dip wasn't clear enough. Given the fact that this is supposedly a dungeon, she expected shadows but a bunch of shadows, who didn't really seem interested in them, 'naked' and lounging about in a hot spring? Yea.....this is definitely not what she expected.

It all seemed like something straight out of a porno or one of those cheap bathing scenes from a b-rated movie. If a dungeon is based off the mind of the owner of it, it really speaks of what kind of person they are. While the view itself wasn't bad, it was strange in the fact they haven't been attacked by the shadows yet. Laughing at the reactions of the others at the sight, she turned to Rui.

"So? Do we sit and stare or do we get on with it and attack? If these shadows are like the one before (the knight) then would that mean we'll need to fight them and render them unconscious as well?"

While it was indeed nimble, it was incredibly stupid and it showed when it failed to notice her blood golem. With her golem holding the monster in check, using bloodline, she crafted a spear-like chain and sent it after the monster. With it's spear-like head sinking into it's body, the 'chain' wrapped around and dug into it, preventing escape as it began siphoning away its blood. The taste of it's blood was quite disgusting but given where she was, she had no room to be picky and needed blood to resupply her reserves.

When she managed to absorb a decent amount, she tightened her grip and pulled it towards her, hurling the monster in her direction. Quickly dropping the chain, she now had both of her hands on Zalmonah and, using her Ragdoll Technique, struck the beast with her speak and threw it up into the air, tearing up its insides in the process. Without missing a beat, she finished off her combination with her Batter Up! technique, smashing her spear into its head and sent it crashing into the side of the church.

With the annoyances out of the way, she could now finally proceed uninterrupted. Going through the cellar door, she had her blood golem block the entrance, making sure no one came in or left, without her knowing at least.

With her successfully keeping the knight in check, Rui was able to destroy the pot easily. And with the pot destroyed, now they can turn their full attention towards destroying the knight. Now that she won't have to worry about the knight slipping away, they can go all out. Time for turn it up. To prepare for the offensive, she casted Rakukaja, giving everyone extra firepower to dispatch the knight.

In the end, it all worked out well for her. Akane got her fight with the knight, though, technically she's to get it away from the pot and 'hold it off' but a fight nonetheless. Then again, maybe 'distracting the knight' would be a better way to phrase it because if before was any indication this shadow may not exactly be allied with the other shadows. But in their position, it's better to be safe than sorry. From their recent exchange, this shadow has quite the physical strength, so it might be best for herself to avoid going in close. Which means...it's time to play bait again.

Drawing her katana, she charged towards the knight as if to attack before stopping and jumping to the side, calling forth Setanta, having him attack from behind the knight with 'Kill Rush'. She then moved in with a strike of her own but only a light strike, to draw the shadows attention and striking just within her attack range so she can drop back and lure it away from the pot, and the others. Once she's able to lure it away, she will then be able to fight 'till her hearts content without having to worry about the knight getting in their way.

Having made it through the garden, she arrived at her destination, the Backwoods Cathedral. However, the door was locked. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, given her strength and all, but the door was protected by a strong magical barrier that simply didn't budge. Though, upon further inspection, even without magic the door would cause her further irritation in attempts to open it. There's no telling the amount of time it might take to open the door.

Deciding to give up on that door, she started looking around for another way in when the sound of crashing wood caught her attention. Looking in the direction of the sound, she saw 3 blood-covered men coming out of what looks to be a cellar door. Well, looks like I've found my way in...but... Like before, Blair would have to go through another disgusting creature. Just my luck...another pointless battle.

However, unlike the last battle, it seems like she'll have to fight this one to the end, much to her annoyance. Just like the creature from the last time, these ones also held a maddening look. Hmm... One of monsters went through a strange metamorphosis that made him even more hideous. After careful inspection, it didn't look all that durable but she assumes what it lacks in durability, it might make up for in speed. In short, it's going to be a pain.

As that one finished, the other two seemed to be under-going the same process and from the looks of it, they didn't seem like they were able to do anything until finished. Which means, she's going to have to attack them now. Though, she'll need to keep the other one occupied enough for her to strike them and to do so, she'll need to hit a chain of successive hits if this is going to work. In her usual Blood Oath Style, she calls forth her Bloody Sunday spell to start things off.

Like in similar cases, the main focus of her use of this spell in this battle would be not only to cut off her opponents visibility with the debris and tear up the ground to impede their movement but also use the moment to cast another spell in the confusion to slow down the fully metamorphed monster. Her follow up spell would then be to cast her Blood Golem Creation to make one Tank Golem, choosing quality over quantity.

While that one holds him back, her next move would be to move in, cast Blood Blast on Zalmonah and detonate the two. Well, thats the plan anyways. Going forward with her plan, she casts Bloody Sunday followed by the creation of her blood golem, she readies her demonic spear and moves in to strike.

As she attacked, the shadow knight responded in-kind. Though, the shadow's blow was too slow to deliver a clean hit on her, possibly from being pushed back from Kill Rush, but it was enough to please Akane....Good, she grinned upon seeing that the shadow indeed had strength to'em.

While she attacked the knight, Rui went for the pot and from the looks of it, he was stopped as well. While the blow she received didn't cause her any serious damage, she was thankful when Kotori casted Diarama on her. As Akane's health was restored in the golden glow, she turned to Kotori and said her thanks.

From what they saw, the shadows concentrated their remaining numbers around the pot as if protecting it. They knight didn't seem to care, so she wondered if that one wasn't with the others. It wouldn't really surprise her if shadows, like humans, took different sides or went about things differently. Anyways, if they wanted to get at the pot, something needed to be done.

Regardless of whether or not the knight was with the others, I don't think he'd just let them simply waltz near the pot. She made her thoughts known to Rui, thinking that if they wanted to get near the pot, they'd have to deal with the knight first or at least distance him from it. Though, it doesn't need to be said that Akane would rather fight with the knight than deal with the pot.
