Current I have the sad, today is day 30 for some of my favorite RP's. They go into archived until life is breathed back into them. Some only have days left on the clock. :(

There has been a linguistic shift to far less formal speech over the years here recognizing regional and cultural diversity as well as the acceptance that overly formal manners can be classist

@ErosSense A lot of times You're welcome is used among older folks in the US but under 40 generally tell you no problem, or anytime or things like that because it is less formal.
