Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

I wasn't sure if the old man your character sees was going to be the one to save your character, or was just a hallucination so I set it up so that you can figure out what happens next. If the old man saves you then Erika will just be searching for a while until she reaches Ginger Town, or you can have her find him, administer first aid, and bring him to Ginger Town for treatment. Either way is fine so I'll just leave it up to you.
Name: Erika Beryl
Race: Bio-engineered Human
Location: Between West Capitol and Ginger Town
Power Level: 910
Tag: Open @Double

"Thch, that monster lit up Parsley City like it was a barbecue, West Capitol was lucky it decided to skip town." Erika Beryl cursed as she zipped across the landscape on her police cycle. It hadn't been that long since she had seen the destruction on the television, that alien was way worse and stronger than any terrorist she had dealt with. As soon as the information had spread, West Capitol had been put on high alert and Erika had been scanning the skies religiously in order to intercept the enemy before it could make it to the city.

Sure enough she had spotted the monster traveling through the air but instead of bee-lining for West Capitol the creature instead had decided to travel North toward Ginger Town. Fearing for the safety of Ginger Town Erika had hopped onto her air cycle and engaged in hot pursuit. The mountains between the city and the town had slowed her down a bit so she had lost sight of the monster for a bit. Erika started using a pair of electronic binoculars to try and find him again, then she saw something in the distance, something yellow, and it was coming closer fast!

"Blast it! I don't like terrorists with surprises waiting for me!" Erika quickly veered to the side as the Ki blast ripped into the spot she would have been if she had kept going straight. Zigzagging she avoided the shots and quickly hid the bike behind some rocks and rushed out to meet her opponent. The strange alien gracefully descended down on the ground and stared at the police officer.

"I had noticed a fly earlier but it appears it has some sense of combat, I'll just dispose of you quickly as your power level appears to be non-existent. I'm sure this will be less interesting than my previous encounter." The green alien looked bored as it readied to fight, taking up some sort of fighting stance she didn't recognize.

"Meh, I thought little green men were supposed to be charming but you're just some kind of ugly toad ain't ya?" Erika glared at the alien, cocked her shotgun and fired for center mass. The monster blocked the shot with a hand and stepped forward while Erika retreated while firing.

"Such a pitiful weapon, with such resistance it will be easy to take over this planet." Dyce continued forward while swatting the shots out of the air without the slightest bit of harm coming to him.
"Sure, sure, but I'd watch your foot if I were you!" Before the alien could respond the ground underneath him erupted from the ki mine Erika had placed while she had been retreating. Dirt and smoke covered the spot of the explosion completely covering the alien in it. "Did that work? Why do I have the feeling it did-urgh!" Erika found herself being lifted off the ground by the alien who had rushed out of the explosion zone with only the slightest of dirt smudges on him, his hand was gripped around her throat. Erika dropped her shotgun and tried to pry his hand off with her own.

He glared at her as she struggled to kick him off and keep him from suffocating her but his grip was strong. "I actually felt that worm, let's see what you've got." Pressing a button an orange visor appeared and took note of her strength. "Nothing much but I am surprised I missed it as I was passing by, I guess that martial artist just made much more of a racket so I noticed him first."

Her vision was starting to go, the monster was too strong to pry off with normal means, which meant she only had one chance to get away. As he observed and talked, she reached into a vest pocket, gripped her special knife, boosted it with cycling Ki and lashed out at the alien. The knife slashed through the wrist of her attacker, causing him to release her and grip his bleeding wrist reflexively. The cut hadn't been at the right angle to cut it off so the cut was shallow but the damage was done and had surprised the alien, but now was not the time to be proud of herself, she quickly retrieved her shotgun and bolted for cover.

"Crap, crap! I was hoping I could stop him on my own but I was too naive. Got to shake him off for now until I can find a strategy that can actually kill this guy! I just hope he doesn't blow up more cities cause I couldn't stop him!"

"Not too bad for an insect, but an insect none-the-less." It only took a moment for the bleeding to stop and then he pointed a palm toward Erika's fleeing figure. "Begone!" A ki blast erupted from his palm and slammed into her. The alien watched as the figure flew up into the air and then crumpled onto the ground motionless. Seeing no reaction after looking for a few moments the alien scoffed and flew away.

Sure that he was gone, Erika groaned as she got up from playing possum. "Good thing that thing's too cocky in its own abilities, if it had decided to make sure I was dead I'd be an angel right now." Partially her body armor, but mostly she had managed to set up a weak energy barrier with her hands just in time to soften the blow. She wished she could have used it at full power but in order to make sure the enemy was fooled she had to let at least half of the blast actually reach her. Dang did that hurt though!

Erika managed to stand up, her clothes torn and dirty from the one-sided battle, thankfully it seemed she was the only thing he had been interest in as she was able to find her police cycle and start it up. "It's probably no good, but that monster did mention something about a martial artist, I should see if they managed to survive. They should be closer to Ginger Town if my hunch is correct." Taking out the binoculars Erika started scanning the plains as she rode out.

If they were still alive, she would do her best to get them the help they needed as quickly as possible, which would mean quick emergency care and a fast trip to the nearest doctor, which would mean ginger town. "If I can still save a life today then at least I'll have been able to do some good rather than just getting my ass kicked and letting the bad guy get away."
So is this dead? Feeling bad cause I was really getting into this one, had future arcs planned out and everything. Might still be able to breathe life into it maybe if you had a co-gm to pick up the slack.@HenryJonesJr

Visual Appearance

Written Appearance
Standing at 5’6” she is neither tall nor short but there is where her averageness ends. One look at her physic and one can tell she is very athletic, with a toned body and noticeable muscles but not so much that it crosses over into unfeminine territory. With her shoulder length blonde hair, sharp cyan eyes, and light peach-colored skin she is quite pleasing to the eye; however, she tends to not bother with her hair too much, letting the ends grow wild and the way her eyebrows are angled upward at such a degree gives her a bit of a cruel and unwelcoming look.

On the job usually she is decked in full combat gear, combat vest, plenty of pouches and straps for ammunition and knives, and of course a sidearm holster. Very rarely will she wear a helmet however as at her level it more gets in the way than actually helps out in combat. When not on the job you can usually find her in jeans or cargo pants, and a simple white hoodie or T-shirt. Even off-duty though she never leaves home without her sidearm and a few other pieces of equipment.

Personality
While a person who takes her jobs seriously you probably wouldn’t know it by now she acts. Erika is the type who will crack jokes and make snide remarks even at inappropriate times. She is not very lady like and has more of a rough edge to her. She can be nice but her brand of nice is probably not what other people would consider as nice. A bit of hard love and mocking is more her style than cuddles and reassurance.

While possessing a semi-rotten personality one cannot deny her brutal honesty and fierce will to protect others while mercilessly beating down the bad guys. While she tends to enjoy bringing the beatdown on her opponents if the decision comes to between taking down a baddie and saving a life, she will save the innocent life 10/10 times. Her purpose in life is to save life but she doesn’t have to be exactly kind when doing it.

Background
Erika Beryl was essentially what you could call a designer baby. Her cellular-structure was modified at birth to make her stronger and smarter than normal. This process was bought for by her parents on the black market. When it was discovered by the government they were none too pleased at the revelation and forcibly adopted the young girl at 5 years old.

As she had already been genetically engineered this made her DNA easier to manipulate and so more extensive testing began. A Doctor Tread was soon put in charge of her development and so Erika grew up under intense observation. After a few years she was able to return back to her parents but under the watchful eye of Dr Tread who continued to treat her. Finding herself much stronger than those around her she naturally started getting involved in more physical activities and became the ‘honey badger’ of sports and combat do to her unnatural toughness.

Deciding she wanted to use her talents to good use, she decided to go to police academy so that she could protect people. On the side the government made sure to give her extra training in more lethal combat styles and to continue their gene-manipulation so she could became a government weapon when needed. Graduating at the top of her class, especially in the physical department, she soon became a member of the police force that would often be sent straight into combat to quickly subdue any situation.

Her current assignment is in West Capitol

Weapon & Techniques

Weapon
Pump-action Shotgun – Her main weapon of choice when on the job, this dark grey and brown bad boy has been modified to be a lot more powerful than normal and makes for a decent melee weapon as well if needed. It can hold 4 rounds at a time plus 1 in the chamber. She usually has 20 extra shells on hand. It has a Total length of 2’4” and weighs 8 lb.

Taurus 9mm – Her trusty side-arm which she carries around at all times, only really useful against normal thugs but holds sentimental value as her first gun. It sports a fairly traditional black and metallic look. It holds 7 bullets per clip and usually she has two extra clips. It's stats are a 3.2” barrel length, weighing at 22 oz.

Combat Knives (3 + 1 Ki Blade) – Usually found in her vest pockets she can use them in hand-to-hand combat or as throwing knives. She always keeps one special knife on hand which has an orange handle, which allows her to pump Ki into the weapon to make it stronger and sharper. They weigh 11 oz, have a 1’ overall length, and a 6.5” Blade length.

Techniques
Landmine – She infuses the ground under her feet with Ki, creating a trap that will activate as soon as the next person or animal comes within range. She can also trigger it prematurely to cause a distraction or set off another trap.

Razor Edge – She cycles her Ki through her hands or her special Ki Blade. This cycling creates a sharpness that can easily cut through flesh; however, it works best when being used through her Ki Blade as it gets condensed much more, increasing its sharpness and effectiveness, allowing it to carve through many metals. As the technique uses a lot of Ki she has to use it fairly conservatively, especially without her Ki Blade.

Vital Strike – Trained in the art of killing, Erika specifically targets spots on that body that can cause fatal injuries. To cause said injury she concentrates into a single contact point on her body such as a toe, knuckle, or finger. On contact the concentrated point unleashes its deadly ki into a pin-pointed strike. The attack has to be positioned just right however for it to be effective so mostly just used as a finishing blow.

Energy Barrier – By concentrating she can create an energy barrier where she puts her hands. The barrier is best at stopping Ki and energy attacks while physical attacks can more easily break the barrier. The barrier only appears in front of her hands, covering the area equivalent of a large shield around 5 feet diameter.

Energy Grenade – Collecting her Ki into her hand she lobs the energy ball into the air or at an opponent. The ball then either explodes shortly afterward or on contact with an object or person, showering the area with Ki shard, like the shrapnel from a normal grenade.

The problem is, everyone currently is just writing their own stories for the most part. With Master Bruce gone there isn't as much drive behind the collaborative events which are needed to bring people together, otherwise people just need to start collaborating with each other. I for one, have gotten through the story I wanted to tell, the origin story, and while I have ideas down the road frankly I don't want to write Ms. Marvel anymore for now.

While I would be interested in writing I am basically dead in the water at this point in time, at least with this character.

Also I am certainly not going to be writing in 1st person anymore, that makes everything much more complicated even if I did like the results for the most part.
Should I be concerned?
Am I in danger?

All good, logical questions to ask yourself, but I don't think you need to worry.

Nope, not at all.
Poor Laddie.

I almost feel sorry for him. Ol Megs here will be completely fine and safe, hah.

Haha, I hope.

Wasn't going to have the girls do anything else that night so just went ahead with their story for now. After you guys wrap up that bit then we can start thinking about ways to bring some of the characters together, could be a threat but doesn't have to be.

Heads up @Lmpkio. When Blossom first meets Hayata she just might develop a little bit of a crush on him, he looks like the ideal sempai after all. Of course feel free to ignore her, she's just at that age. :)

School Day - Their New High School

It certainly was hard to get used to their new high school. At least Professor Utonium had been able to afford sending the girls to a fairly high-end and non-urban school. They had pretty much everything there you could ever need for a complete education: science labs, swimming pools, ball courts, football fields, huge auditorium and gymnasium, professional track and field areas, and even it's own garden. This place was certainly a step up from their rather modest school back in Townsville, everything was bigger, especially the student population.

The school was gigantic compared to what they had before and between classes there seemed to be a literal flood of students scrambling around. Thankfully the girls had managed to stay together for the most part so at least they had each other most of the time. Of course high school was quite different from middle school, for one thing each girl had to choose their own electives and of course since they were interested in different things they didn't see each other during those periods.

It was strange just being a kid in the crowd, back in Townsville pretty much everyone knew who they were, but here they were just the new kids. Professor Utonium had given them strict orders to try and keep their powers on the down-low. Unfortunately this did mean that a few of the activities were off limits for the Utonium children, such as sports teams. During PE they had to try and seem as normal as possible which was tougher than one might think especially once the adrenaline started to kick in. Since playing to their full ability would just be an unfair advantage to whichever team had them, sports electives were off limits.

So far their favorite teacher had to be their science teacher Ms. Keene. Sure she was no Professor Utonium but as a high school teacher, Ms. Keene knew how to explain things in ways that made it easier to understand. At the moment the three girls were in the school lab being taught by Ms. Keene about Acidic levels, and what makes a liquid an acid or a base. The student groups had been given litmus paper to test the various liquids ranging from tap water to soda and more.

"Alright class first I want you all to test your various liquids using the litmus paper and write down their pH levels, also labeling each liquid as an acid, base, or neutral. Afterward we'll try some experimenting and see how we can change the pH levels of some of our samples."

Lab partners went to work and mostly because the girls had transferred during the school year, they were stuck together. As they went to work the three couldn't help but talk a little.

"Man, I really wish I could play more sports but I suppose it is true competing without doing my best would be pretty lame anyway." Buttercup grumbled as she starting passing out the litmus paper.

"I know how you feel Buttercup but at least we have a lot of other options! What electives did you guys choose?" Blossom asked as she started to test the paper while Bubbles got the paper ready to take notes.

"Well that was easy! As soon as I saw it I instantly signed up for the home economics class! They teach all kinds of useful stuff like cooking and sewing. Once I get the sewing down I can start on my fashion ideas and have all sorts of fun!"

"Man I really had to think about that one, didn't want to take anything useless so I signed up for those guitar lessons and also mechanics! Dad's always tinkering around with stuff and figured it could be pretty cool to try for myself too. So how about you Blossom?"

"Well, after thinking about it I decided to go with the drama classes! Hopefully I'll be able to score a great part and then everyone will know who I am and I'll meet my other half during a romantic scene." Blossom giggled as she started to imagine just a scenario, such as her playing Juliet and and handsome upperclassman talking to her from below, their eyes telling each other how much they were in love.

Buttercup groaned a little while Bubbles just smiled at Blossoms retreat into fantasy land. But Blossom soon came back as they were moving on to the next part of the lab. "I should also look and see if any of the sports teams need a manager, I'll be sure to meet some cute guys that way!"

Buttercup ignored Blossom and looked over at another table, there was a very dolled up red-head who was literally doing nothing in the lab. All she seemed to be doing was giving orders to the other students. Buttercup couldn't help but feel a little ticked that someone was having all the work completely done for them. Before she could say anything though a voice came from beside her.

"Oh her, that's Pricilla Morbucks, but everyone just calls her Princess for obvious reasons." Buttercup turned to see a freckled brunette kid, Mitch Michelson who was also in their group. It had been quite the surprise to meet him again as he had actually gone to the same kindergarten and some of elementary school together with the Powerpuffs back in Townsville. It was actually quite a welcome sight to see someone who knew who and what they were. Unfortunately for him the acne really had hit him quite hard. "By the way I think I think you got some of that acid stuff on your shirt."

"Wait what!?" Buttercup looked down in alarm, and Mitch Michelson's finger went up and flicked her nose.

Mitch laughed as Buttercup rubbed her nose after taking a reflexive step back. "I see you're still the little snot you always were Mitch."

"Heh, and if I'm not mistaken you guys aren't allowed to use your powers whenever you want which means I don't have to worry about payback."

"Also I guess you're still an idiot too since you obviously didn't think that one through." Buttercup grabbed him by the cheek and pulled.

"Ow ow ow ow! Stop it!"

"I don't need to use my powers to get back at you." Buttercup smirked and let go while Mitch quickly nursed his now red cheek.

"Blast it! I was only teasing you ya know, sheesh!"

"Now now you two, let's finish this up before your horsing around gets us in trouble. Let's make sure we work together to make this a great year!" Bubbles interjected while Blossom nodded in agreement.

"Yep, we need to make sure we all get good grades so we don't have to drop any of our electives! 100% here we come!"
