Desktop profile login won't work. Coincidence that Windows 7 is no longer supported on same day? Consider me doubtful.

I'm having way too much fun with my Legend of Zelda Encylopedia. This is the game that got me into roleplaying so have a lot invested in it's lore and stories. Too bad can't have all the games too.

I think I just need to come up with a rule set and then I can make an actual OOC.
Gonna make a little backstory here

Alien Spacecraft

A strange feminine figure stood in front of the viewing screen, decked out it what appeared to be a light blue flight suit with silver plates on its chest, shoulders, and shins. Its eyes were slanted at a 45 degree angle and its irises were the color of blood. Her features were sharp and the body was thin and long by human standards, her height reaching a good 6'5". Her hair was feathery like a moth's antennae and the long 'stalks' reached down to her waist, which moved despite there being no air flow on the command deck.

"So this is the so called unconquerable planet. Such a delightful blue gem, if I am able to capture it for the patriarch I am sure I will generously rewarded and he will look at me with those strong eyes of his..."

The alien shivered in delight for a moment, before giving a small cough to gain hold of herself.

"Thankfully we have been preparing our forces for a long time despite the barrier it will only be a matter of time before we can crush any resistance!"

She put a hand out and made the motion of grabbing the visual of the planet in front of her, her fist clenched with great strength. There were two main reasons the planet was such a hard location to conquer: One, there were a lot of strange individuals with strange powers on that planet, ranging from the mundane to the fantastical who could put up a proper fight. Two, there was a strange dimensional barrier around the planet that was specifically designed to keep out alien forces, while not affecting the inhabitants in the least. Because of the barrier they would have to expend a great deal of power every time they sent something down, which limited the amount that could be sent.

As the barrier prevented any large invasion forces, that meant they would have to send down quality instead of quantity. To help facilitate her plans to capture the Earth and shut down the field protecting it, the alien had gone into the business of Monsternacy, a scientific and magical fusion technique to create powerful, and often very unique, fighting machines. Aside from that she had also placed a bounty on the barrier maker to try and entice some of the galaxy's most fearsome mercenaries. She could get the best of all worlds with her schemes.

Soon it would be time to start the conquest of the Earth. Buzzing a little tune she skipped along off the command deck to head down to the Monsternacy department to see what dastardly monster she would send down first.

Unfortunately Mia was still unresponsive but before Titanius could try another method two newcomers appeared. Of course he was prepared to fight if necessary but considering their location a fight would not be in their best interests. Darbin was obviously in a similar situation as he stated the plain facts of the situation, they had no real reason to trust them. While the shorter one identified himself as the Supreme Kai of the Multiverse, other than his appearance and vitals being a fit for one of that species they had no other data to go off of.

Once the taller individual revealed themselves to be Okora, and explained who they were, it appeared that Tabaga was 99 percent convinced of their identity. There was of course the possibility that they were from a different universe than hers, but the fact their stories matched raised the probability high enough for Titanius to take action.

"Needless to say our location will soon be located with all the activity around us. It is in our best interests to retreat for now and take the two leads we have at the moment." Those two leads of course being the Kai and Okora. "If worst comes to worse two opponents should be much more manageable than the legions milling around."

Deciding there was no more time for hesitation, Titanius quickly turned and lifted the dazed Mia up rather unceremoniously over his shoulder. "Please tell me if there is a better method of transport in the future." He stated before hurrying through the portal, back to the Conton City side and promptly deposited Mia onto the ground without much tact.
@Kenshi I had no idea that was an actual thing lol. I mostly just meant it in the general story sense of how the role play would be like.
Recently I haven't had much time to really make any stories I really liked so instead of trying hard to make something up, I thought maybe a whole different type of role play would be a lot easier.

My idea is I'll craft a monster of the week type of scenario that will be done in several stages and the a climax. As the monster or villain goes on a rampage anyone who has the time can quickly pop in to try and take it down, essentially a PVE role play where anyone can quickly hop in with a character for a little action. As such character profiles won't even be needed unless you feel you need one just to keep track of your character.

Pop in, fight for a few posts, then leave if you want. The 'main' characters will be the monsters themselves in a sense and I'll make profiles for them so you can see what you fought, be it a comical monster, or a horrifying creature. Anyone that participates in the battle will get a mention of being part of the clean up crew.

The only real limits on your characters will be to not make them all supermen capable of doing everything themselves. Give them cool powers and abilities but don't go too overboard, you want the fights to be cool and crazy, not over in a flash.

I'll leave this here and see if there is any interest in such a drop in, drop out type of role play. I'll probably have an elimination timer on any character that hops in, of say 3 days or so the monster can't be stopped by people not posting.
I'm not sure I have ever had such...unique replies to an interest check before. Ha ha...I'm not even sure what some of it means.
Your first though upon seeing the title would probably be, 'surely they can't actually mean a real assault helicopter?' Well you would be certainly right in that your daddy is not an actual mechanized flying vehicle! Your father is strong, super strong, basically a demon lord boss level or whatever. That sounds good right? Having a super strong parent to what over you? The problem is your dad is a 'helicopter' parent and he just won't leave you alone no matter how big and strong you grow up!

Your papa is a bit of a harem king too and has a lot of wives from a wide variety of species, meaning you, progeny, can be a whole host of different monsters, heck even human potentially. You live, grow, fight, etc but always the ever embracing shadow of your eternally loving papa looms behind you, never knowing when he is going to make a surprise visit or try to 'fix' a problem for you. Can you survive the suffocating embrace of your assault helicopter parent?

Alright so that's the general gist, the other thing I was thinking was maybe he decided to experiment a little and did a memory infusion on his children, stuffing in the memories of say, some person in another dimension such as 'earth' but maybe it would be better not to push in that kind of isekai element. Well in general think game-ish, type fantasy world setting with dungeons and kingdoms, etc and you should have the general gist of my idea. However, your greatest foe will be your never-letting-go-completely parent, will you ever be free from their crushing, fatherly love?

Well time to see if the title and basic idea gains any traction before I go any further. Have fun!

It was a very depressing sight that reached his machine mutant eyes on the other side of the portal. It was also quite the familiar one though with key differences. His brother and sister machine mutants had devastated quite a few worlds during his time on the run but the overall destruction had been much more 'clean' than whatever had happened on this planet. Unless Dr. Myu had a use for a particular corpse such as genetic samples, bodies were quickly disposed of to make way for the improved machine mutants to inhabit the planet. These foes seemed intent on using every scrap of organic material for some unknown purpose, considering the considerable amount of smoke filling the sky from the factories he doubted the planet had any other purpose than for processing materials.

His first movement was to take cover behind the same rock that Tabaga took cover behind as recon was the priority. Soon most of the others had come through as well, Ovaan asked the obvious question that needed answering and Darbin added his own bit of caution, to which Titanius had to agree to inside his head. The other saiyan, Maize however, took a decidedly different approach by standing completely in the open.

"There's only one way to find out what they're harvesting them for. We get harvested ourselves. If you can lower your ki level I suggest you do it." While there was some logic to her plan it was certainly a reckless one, besides there was a better way to get the information they needed.

"While that could work, I think the more optimal option would be to capture one of the drones so that I can access its data banks..." But before he could explain further she was already bounding away to join one of the piles of corpses. "...of course if we fail to capture one quietly we could give ourselves away but I feel it is the safer option than going into the belly of the beast, as some species like to say."

He couldn't resist finishing his thoughts, or the others still present, though it appeared that the girl with the reactive glowing horn operating system had crashed as she stood, pale faced in the presence of the carnage. That was a very dangerous state of being to be in, especially when facing unknown variables, at least someone who was facing things head on could react to a situation, but someone who froze would be unable to do anything.

She needed a reboot so he went out from the boulder to her side, then a certain phrase entered his mind. It was a certain phrase some species said when they wished to make sure they were awake and alert.

"Pinch me."

And so he did, figuring the most efficient spot for the pain to take effect would be her cheek, as the location was on the face it would be incredibly hard to not notice through both feeling and sight.

"Forgive me." Hopefully this strange ritual would be enough to bring her back to reality and he could get back to hiding.
@Chev at a time like this you might want to just push forward with the next scene so everyone has more to interact with. Everyone will go through the portal eventually anyway and as GM you can just assume everyone has gone through if you want.
