Rejected on the basis that the word section of the application is incomplete. Jacen would be able to manipulate anything, not just others (although he cannot create anything to manipulate). So yes, he would be able to create complex machines out of random parts--just keep in mind that he'll need the components he requires to already be within the parts. He'd also be able to handle anything with skill, such as picking up a sword and using it proficiently. Lastly, Jacen would be good at treating wounds with his hands. Other than that, your application is fine.

Name: Ashley Sultri
Appearance: Slender, fair-haired, and quite attractive, with smooth and tanned skin. Ashley enjoys the attention she’s found tight clothing and exposed skin will bring her.
Personality: Argumentative, quick-witted, and the first to point out something new and interesting. Ashley hates being ignored and will do anything for recognition. She gnaws on her fingernails whenever stressed or unsure of something. Likes to tease people and gets excited easily.
Word: Heat

Ethan Murray (Only for Mattie_ to use)

Name: Ethan Murray
Appearance: Short and skinny, standing at 5’3, with round glasses and messy brown hair. Appears perpetually worried and frightened. Spirit animal is a mouse.
Personality: As perpetually worried and frightened as he looks, Ethan had no idea what he had gotten himself into when he entered Skyline and would have died the first day had Gideon or someone else not protected him. He just wishes the year would end so he can go back home and forget the nightmare that has become his life.
Word: Rejuvenate
Can:

• Bring the user back to life after being killed, provided the body is able to repair itself.
• Repair damage to objects and heal wounds.
• Cure diseases, illnesses, and ailments.
• Restore stamina, vigor, appearance, vitality, strength.
• Freshen, renew, and return to new.

Word Location: Top of right foot
Other: Basically an NPC. Too timid to think about breaking free and prefers having someone capable leading and taking care of him.

Jacob Hansen (Only for Mattie_ to use)

Name: Jacob Hansen
Appearance: 6’4, tall, solidly built, looks old for his age. Has a buzz-cut of blonde hair and a fair face.
Personality: Very shy, partially because of his high-pitched voice that is at complete odds with his height and stature. Blushes and gets flustered easily. He is otherwise mild-mannered and amiable.
Word: Armor
Can create:

• Any sort of protective covering, including metal, leather, and kevlar armor.
• The armor found in nature, such as a porcupine’s spines, or a beetle’s shell.
• Qualities, characteristics, things, and situations that serve as protection.
• Metal plating and protective coverings found on vehicles such as aircraft, sea craft, and spacecraft.
• “Mechanized units of military forces”, so armored vehicles and weaponry.

Word Location: Left collarbone
Other: Basically an NPC. Serves Gideon unwillingly, but doesn’t really mind too much, as long as he isn’t asked to do anything unreasonable.

Skyline Institute

So, I have an idea for an RP that's based on the Aphorism universe with some changes (reading Aphorism is unnecessary for the RP). Basically your character is accepted to this prestigious boarding school called Skyline Institute. But throughout the school year, students must undergo many trials called ‘eclipses’ or ‘blights’. Many characters and NPCs will die, and there is a chance that no one will survive (in which case, we would all make new characters and start a new school year). Characters must try their best to persevere using their word, something that each person picks in the beginning of the year to help them fight or survive. Words have all the abilities of their definition, so a word like 'light' would allow someone to manipulate light but also make their mass light.

Eclipses happen randomly and are similar to random dungeon encounters. Can range from things like monsters spawning or a giant table of food appears.

(I didn't know interest checks were a thing, so I posted this after the RP was made. Sorry about that.)

So what do you guys think? Thoughts/comments? :D

Rejected. Dragon doesn't just mean the mythical beast dragon. It's my fault for not making it clear that I want all of the word's abilities to be stated (so that other RPers know what they are capable of doing, to help those that have characters that control others, and to make sure the RPer him/herself understands the full extent of the character's ability). But add those other usages, clean up some of the capitalizations (or lack thereof), and be careful with your comma usage (in the Word section) and your application should be good.
