I considered going into detail about the meaning of this gesture to Kagura, how she still wouldn't look Mari in the eye, etc., but I decided that it would be overplaying the whole thing, especially when Kagura is now trying to move past her screw up, establish that she isn't bipolar, and generally not blow everything out of proportion AGAIN.

Unfortunately I ended up with a oneliner.

"I see." she said awkwardly, wringing her hands and looking at the ground. "I'm...terribly sorry. I'm just high strung today, I assure you I'm not usually...like that." She shuffled her feet. "But yes, it would be best if we headed to our room now. Um, this way." Kagura said, unfolding the map.

This is why no matter how much shit people give me about how many tabs I have open, they will never convince me to close tabs of things that I need to remember the existence of.

Yeah, though that is the risk of having to work with another character. Did no one consider my suggestion of interacting with non-partner characters until their partner shows up?
