Okay peeps, I think I should have a post up tomorrow. Depending on Bliss and BreakingMe, my post will either be just reactionary or reactionary and slight plot moving - either way, I'm gonna give our characters a chance to interact a bit so you'll a couple scenes to do that.
Posted! Can we say Boss Battle? It'll be interesting to see how you guys go about taking replying to this. Considering this is psuedo-boss creature, don't expect it to be felled as easy as the others.

Sorry for the delay again, I'll be more prompt going forward.
Unknown Location - Test of the Faceless / Marcus Roman - 500HP - 6/6

Amid the competing sounds of clanging metal and chaotic garbles, a more subtle, almost articulate, gurgle bubbled from the faceless minion standing before Marcus. This particular creature stood apart from its brothers in stature and intimidation, slender limbs awkwardly grown from a disproportionate torso and an inquisitive sea of emptiness cocked to one side where a face would have been. It clutched a long, straight blade in one hand while the other hung lifelessly and it stood perfectly still as its would be opponent attempted to make sense of his foe. Having witnessed the previous offense, Marcus had a relatively good idea of how to dispatch the monstrosities, but a chill in his bones whispered that this one was different from the others; this one exuded a sort of intensely calm wrath wrapped within an inexplicable need to understand the situation - to comprehend the purpose combative action served. In spite of his awe, the weight of Marcus' own blade reminded him that this was no time to lose himself to thought. It was just as well because he had run out of time in any case.

Snapping forward with unnatural speed, the unique faceless launched itself towards Marcus. Instinct enveloped the former knight and muscle memory shuffled his feet to the side while his body followed on the turn and his attacking arm sent the waiting blade into a preemptive stabbing thrust. Momentum betrayed the beast as it barreled forward against the air and impaled itself through the abdomen though it completely ignored the circumstance and seized the opportunity to swipe diagonally upwards towards its briefly bewildered opponent's face. An involuntary grunt burst forth as Marcus forced his head back and ripped his blade free from an organ-less body while propelling his own a few feet back with a stumbling hop and pivot. Blood dripped from the cut on his cheek and stinging heat gnashed at the skin around the wound while a cold stare dug into the visage of an inhuman being once again standing perfectly in place. Marcus slowly stood from his semi-crouch and let a small grin arrogantly take its place under newly brightened eyes. This was going to be a hell of a fight indeed.

Fiona's club-wielding foe simply gazed at the downward falling blade as the disciple cleaved its neck and sliced its head from the body. The now headless creature fell to its knees and slumped over, immediately melting into a black ooze that bubbled and steamed before the Order's most fiery Aspirant. Nicholas, now more aware of the danger that faced him, approached his own personal enemy with a more refined, yet savage, technique that also resulted in a severing of nape and skull that again melted into a black ooze though the two pools seemed to gravitate towards one another. Annalynne's acrobatic assault was met with an apparent suicidal sacrifice as the faceless monster plunged its neck into her thrusting dagger and viciously spun to allow the separation of its head and a newly formed puddle of black ooze to join the growing puddle created by the mercenary and the disciple. Ytone took a more cruel tactic with her combination of death dealers and literally squeezed and butchered the head clean off her opponent a flowing display of unforgiving mercilessness. Her trophy of ooze quickly slithered over to the now large body of steaming black substance that was beginning to rise and form something. Erickson and Senua ended up attacking the same creature, but their efforts were rewarded with a creature that was not only cut in half, but also headless with the skull melting in two parts.

The combined matter left over from the defeated faceless fizzled and rose until it molded itself into a large humanoid shape. It stood a foot taller than Erickson and thick in torso and limbs. Though solid black had engulfed it, the being resembled a much larger faceless that now stood in front of the party with absolutely no weapons except fear and intimidation. It cocked its head to one side, but a bassy sound cut the air as its words became intelligible for the first time. "Your souls are tainted. You shall not live," It growled and decreed. Much like the individual creatures before it, the black faceless stood completely motionless after the utterance of its threat though an empty stare gazed at each and every one of the party members. Marcus shuddered when the thing spoke, but his attention had quickly returned to his own still waiting opponent. What the hell were these things and why did they always refuse to attack first was his immediate thought.

Hey guys, sorry for the delay. Work has been pretty busy, but I'be nailed down the problems my business has had and am thus free to write once more. Again, I apologize.
Finally got a stupid post up.

I was pretty much laughing the entire time. Good damn job man lol.
That was a good post, Culluket. I'm liking all of the new characters thus far. I never knew that we needed someone who was not used to the life until I read started reading Devi lol. I like how she's kind of out of the loop - it suits her for some reason.
Posted! Sorry for the wait.
Planet Luynus - Snoria Bazaar [Southeastern Apartment Building Rooftop] - Early Evening

Varrina's head throbbed at the sheer volume of mental communications pinging one after the other. This kind of situation was precisely the reason why she had never supported the admittedly secure line of communication when it was made mandatory to use among units. Words echoed against the intangible walls of her mind and the incessant pings seemed to last an eternity. Despite the annoyance, the most important message was transmitted loud and clear and the grid coordinates appeared within the scope atop Cyclops. This special optical sight contained a built-in network chip that allowed the rifle to send and receive limited forms of data. This mostly resulted in short messages and coordinates being relayed when necessary; Varrina quickly scanned over the coordinates and immediately pulled her focus over to the digital flare that marked the location. Instinct forced thoroughly trained hands to adjust multiple dials as the sniper prepared to survey the situation.

<Target Female, human. Average height and above average weight due to increased muscle and bone mass. Several bio implants detected as well as cyber augmentations. Purposes are unknown unless active scan initiated. Target wearing light armour and holstering a medium class weapon. Armour and weapon properties unknown until active scan initiated. I am following Bruce 25 yards, ready to engage when ready.>

"Well well," Varrina cooed to herself, an involuntary smirk forming. "A fellow cyberized female..." Bringing a flexible leg up towards her upper torso, she pulled her pants leg up and unholstered a modest .40 caliber handgun. The ebony weapon was full-size and simply designed, lacking both a safety and any technical modifications. It was a relic from the days of Earth when guns were simply loaded with ammunition and fired relying solely on the skill and accuracy of the user - definitely not a favorite of the 7-5 sniper, but it could still handle medium to close range situations like a champ. She laid the weapon next to the standing rifle without taking her greenish-blue eye away from the scope. This was a simple cautionary step now that action was being taken - she was not one for uninvited guests on her perch.

Cyclops followed the flare easy enough, but another problem soon arose. Taking a moment of concentration, Varrina sent out a message. <This is Wraith, I've got eyes on the target, but she just moved into a pretty heavily crowded area. She's a bit faster than I anticipated and also appears to be trained in at least basic sniper awareness and evasion. I have to admit, I'm tingling a bit.> She followed the unknown target in the scope hoping for even a tiny bit of open space. Throngs of hurried shoppers that once stood out on the ground level now appeared to be simple copies of one another all dressed in similarly disheveled clothing and scurrying around so much that it was simply impossible to land a clean shot - a clean shot being one that pierced the target without going through three other people first. Varrina cursed under breath, but continued to follow. Even if she could not land a solid shot, she could at least relay some pertinent information.

<She's blending in with the crowds, there's no way I'm getting a shot like this. It looks like she's headed towards a... A large building of some kind. Scratch that, she's about to pass by a large building. Maybe a warehouse? Cyclops is going to stay with the target, but someone else is going to need to follow up here.>

With a sigh, Varrina continued to follow the chip and its speedy owner. She welcomed the challenge of such a fast moving target, but the realization that she would not be the one to take her down was a disappointment what some would call the trigger happy sniper. She knew the rest of the team would have the situation under contol however, even if her baby would not get to feel a little heat on this one.
@icmasticc Are we waiting for more posts before moving to the next round? Forgive my impatience, haha, I'm just excited.

I was waiting for at least @Aristo, but I do want to reply today. I actually have two roleplays to write for so expect a post from me later today.
@IcePezz Thank you! It actually occurred to me that she looks a lot like Annalynne might, though I'm using the image for another character of mine. And yes. Weekend is almost here.

I concur with the sentiments on your avatar as well Lumin. I almost want to steal that character image lol (of course I won't... >> << >>). TRIPLE POST BECAUSE WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT??
