My name is Luke, I'm from Scotland and therefore operate in an irritating time zone if you're not from Europe. This is probably the biggest (and only) issue you'll encounter if you ever roleplay with me and you're from anywhere outside of Europe.
That aside, I'm an eighteen year old musician who just does a bit of roleplay on the side. I'm a busy person, but I always find the time to post whenever I want so it shouldn't be an issue. I'd describe myself as 'lazy literate' or 'casual but capable', and you'll undoubtedly find me in the 'casual' threads and not the more high caliber ones (but, I may have a look and see if I'm on level). I started on Gaiaonline, if any of you are interested in reading my work you'll find me there under "Idodrumstuff", but be warned that most of it is crap due to me trying to play to the Gaian audience. I'll list a few of my interests as far as roleplay goes:
Medieval Fantasy
Warfare (any era. Medieval, Modern, Futuristic)
Organised Crime
Apocalypse (with or without zombies, I don't mind)
Horror/Survival
Series based roleplays (Mostly based on games, however LotR and Star Wars are exceptions)
Super Powers
Realistic Roleplay
I am open to almost any idea, these are just the genres I generally found myself in on Gaia online's forums. I am not up to date on any Anime series, and I know nothing about them, therefore I will never join a roleplay based off of an anime. I also tend to steer clear or roleplays set in high schools and roleplays where the only key feature is romance, I feel out of place in these roleplays and as a result I tend to back off. Unless it's a particularly good one, in which case I'll consider it. The best way to find out if I like something is to ask, I'm a very sociable person and I'll talk to anybody, so feel free to talk yourself stupid.
I write roleplays as well, and I will undoubtedly add a few of my own works to this thread, to see if I can find further success here than I did on Gaia. More news will follow on that...
One more thing. Because of where I come from (Scotland), I will occasionally type ridiculous words that you may not understand... they are English, they are just in Scots dialect. If I do, poke me with a stick and I'll stop.
