Iluvatar, I'm genuinely surprised you didn't take the opportunity of a much larger Greece to Byzantine-theme it. You could claim to be the direct successor to the Second Roman Empire XD

Alas, I would have done, but I knew an Islamic Caliphate thing had already been reserved. But I can promise you, the recovery of Constantinople and the restoration of the Byzantine Empire is one of Greece's main long-term goals >:)

Would Australia and New Zealand agree to this? Then again, the True Asians did invade Australia - perhaps in exchange for British support you gain de facto sovereignty over them?

Well, it's almost impossible to successfully invade Russia. So, yes, I would certainly be in favour of a powerful and militarily invulnerable power backing little tiny Greece up :D

@IluvatarI don't think many nations can currently influence on the global scale.
What with previous relations breaking down and everything still being a mess.
In the modern world it's easier to be a "great power" than in a setting like this.

Besides, with great power comes great responsibility.

Although Britain and China appear to wield significant power. Perhaps they're only at 'great power' status, but compared to the rest of the world, they are the equivalent of 'superpowers' perhaps.

I can see a really weird Cold War brewing here...

Do you think the Hellenic Kingdom has achieved 'great power' status?

Wikipedia's definition is as follows:

A great power is a sovereign state that is recognized as having the ability to exert its influence on a global scale.

Just asking so I can be as realistic as possible in the RP.
