:P We all started our posts with "Ah". Weird.
Ah, the timeframe's off. It'll be detailed in Misa's post. Logically, there's no way they would be sitting around the entire time that Adam and the Headmaster are discussing these things...

Just trust me, they're gone. And besides, Ren has been at the school for, like 9 years, and knows Miataea by name. They certainly would have interacted in the past. (I just realized that without the sheet, you had no way to know how old Ren is. My bad. She's 19, and has been at the school for a long time.)

EDIT: Assume that a few moments after Ren asked "option A or option B?", Aoife said "option A", and they both made their way immediately out of the building.
:P Miataea must have some powerful eyes, Hanged. Aoife and Ren were both long gone by the time the Headmaster showed up... Assuming she hadn't left, though, what is Miataea even doing? Snapping her fingers and staring?

Ren would probably just... Stare back. And she can stare for a really long time. Long enough to make most people uncomfortable. Anyway, moot point, there's no Ren in the building.

EDIT: The OC I had made was originally a fire elemental-esque pony. I don't know if that's an accepted concept in this version of Equestria. The origins of his (limited) skills would be connected to the circumstances of his birth. If you don't want characters too far from canon species I'll change it up

That sounds quite interesting, Ace! What would be those circumstances? Wild magic certainly abounds in the setting, with the various magical factions not being altogether "ethical" in its use... An elemental sounds like it could come from the Everfree Forest, to me. I assume there's some story, in which the fire elemental falls in love with a pony, and your character is the result of that?

I don't know how Kilt might feel, but I, at least, would like to hear the details.

I'll probably be making a Diamond Dog, which I hope is acceptable by the general group here.

:) Diamond Dogs have a unique skill set, which could be quite useful in such an adventure. I'm sure no one will mind, as long as the character at least occasionally bathes.

On a more serious note, I'm probably going to postpone my sheet a bit. I'm going through some heavy stuff, and I don't know if I should be adding more RPs to my list at the moment. If I end up not coming back, good luck taking down that bad old Empire, Rebels! Imperials... well, you know what to do.
Also, apparently George Lucas didn't see the Empire as sexist, either! He even said that there were definitely female Stormtroopers out there (it's a big galaxy, after all), and that there just weren't many/any that happened to be stationed on the Death Star. It was in the Expanded Universe that various authors started to call attention to it, with Admiral Dala and such.

Make of that what you will.

It was a great thing. I still remember the one I played Vetzu in, all those months ago.

You know, we didn't get that far in, when it comes to that one. But hell, it does feel like we invested a lot into it. Maybe it was just me. I hold that first ED RP in high regard.

:P Don't you mean years, Frettzo? I feel like my old ED game was a long time ago... But no, you're not alone. I had all kinds of plans for it, a whole storyline. In fact, once I had written it out, it really reminded me a lot of the original Final Fantasy, of all things...

Except for the fact that the crew got its airship at the very beginning, it was going to work a lot like that game: we were going to travel into the bowels of each House, battling setting-appropriate enemies as we went, removing the "fiends" (in the form of the Mane Six) from power. And then, at the end, the very core of all of Equestria's problems stretching back over a thousand years would be revealed, ala Chaos, and we'd participate in a final battle that would rock the world to its core. Time travel, alternate dimensions, army-building... In the end, a mix of Final Fantasy, Star Wars, Mass Effect and Warhammer.

And it still has the potential to live again!

You won't be the only ISB agent.

There is another.

Damn. Hopefully not Internal Affairs, those bastards...
Oh, definitely. She'll have already been on the planet, investigating the Imperials when the Alliance showed up. :) Icing on the cake, as it were.

And alright, Army it is.
Would a COMPNOR Agent be out of place here? Specifically, an agent working for the Imperial Security Bureau? She'd have a dual role, investigating both the strength and resolve of the Alliance forces in the sector, as well as the strange, possibly treasonous Imperial Intelligence-classified goings-on beneath the surface...

:) I was thinking this could lead to some interesting interactions, in that she is basically both an ally and an enemy to both sides. She could be working with the Rebels to uncover the hinted-at sinister plot, all the while preparing to strike said Rebels when they're at their weakest, simultaneously appearing to follow the orders of the Governor, but following her own agenda the entire time.

At the start, she will have infiltrated the Governor's staff as a junior officer (would it be Army ranks or Navy?), and will be searching for an "in".
