Oh, just so you all know, I'm going to be at the SCARAB gaming convention all this weekend. I might not have enough time or internet access to be super-active. I should be able to manage a post or two, but I can't make any promises.
> Alright, so about that phantom thing I mentioned earlier, I may or may not have gone ahead and [drawn it](http://i.imgur.com/2exWUeZ.png) XD > > Not exactly flashy, and he came out more childlike than I would have liked, but here it is, complete with some random objects to demonstrate transparency. h e h > > What do you guys think? > > **EDIT** now with eyebrows! XD ^-^ It looks good, Obscene. And shit's going down! Our first disappearance...
The Truth or Dare game wasn't going as well as Mimi had hoped. She usually considered herself a queen of ToD, but this was a very different crowd from the people she usually hung out with. Most of the time, at her kinds of parties, Truth or Dare would almost immediately devolve into a series of ridiculous sex acts... Mitch's friends were positively boring, in comparison. Well, okay, maybe that wasn't fair. The dares had been hardcore enough to get most of the group to chicken out, and that had to count for something. _Wow_, that Mercy chick was made of some pretty stern stuff. Mimi had filled that damn glass to the brim! Now it was just her and the young one left, though. What was her name? Abigail, that was it. She wanted a dare, and Mimi had one for her instantly. She had noticed throughout the night how Abigail and Mercy seemed very close; maybe, just _maybe_ they were close enough for something fun to happen, if she pushed it along. For a "party" where everyone was drinking, there hadn't been much in the way of _raunch_ that night... "Well, I think it's time to change that," she thought to herself, with a small, mischievous grin. Stretching out her arm to pull Abigail close, she half-whispered in the girl's ear: _"I dare you to go over there and give Mercy a big, sexy kiss, right on the lips!"_ She couldn't help but giggle. It was childish, but she'd be damned if the whole night went by without _somebody_ doing something sexy to somebody else!
Oh, oh, Kiri! I have a great idea for Mimi's costume/Maire persona: a doll, complete with [arm and leg joints](http://i.imgur.com/j5IYkgx.png), full face makeup, and maybe some cracks/holes? [Example from the web.](http://i.imgur.com/JyaNwPL.jpg) Something like that. Could be cool, right? (Ah! I have to post! I'm holding up the game...) EDIT: There we go, finally. Not my most, um, dignified intro, but I think it gives you a pretty good idea of how she thinks about things. She just can't imagine a friend group in which everyone isn't fucking everyone else... It doesn't help that most of her friends are at least bisexual, and she kind of forgets that some girls might be uncomfortable doing things like kissing their female friends. x.x I wonder how Abigail will react.
Ah, I'm such a busy bee all of a sudden... I'll see what I can do about getting a post up today. :P I have to come up with a reason why everyone would be so keen on getting out of the Truth or Dare game. I think the players have dwindled to just Mimi and Abigail, at this point. By the way, there's an inconsistency regarding _where_ the game is taking place. Myles could eye us from Savrina's bed, earlier, but now Mercy has to stagger down to a different room in order to talk to him. Aren't they already all in Savrina's room?
:) I can't wait, either. She's going to have an interesting relationship with the dangers of the Maire, to be sure.
Oh, um, I guess it isn't obvious, but she's in town (whatever town this is; the Garmens are Canadian, but I assume Sav lives in the States?) visiting Mitchell, and if it's alright with Obscene, I'm just going to say that he "invited" her along to the party. It should be a bit fuzzy whether he actually did so or if she simply decided that she was coming...
^-^ And, voila. Mimi has arrived. Not a supremely-developed sheet, but it seems this game is much more about what is going to happen in the Maire than what their lives have been like so far, so hopefully that's fine.
**Name:** Miriam "Mimi" Garmen **Age:** 25 **Sex:** Female [**Appearance**](http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-dIEKqW0IpG8/Tzxw9PlDdQI/AAAAAAAAEeI/MPJ63imzqdE/s1600/bb_tanyatagaq.jpg) ###### (Seen here in the middle of a song...) Much more averagely-sized than her little brother, Mimi has a similar olive complexion and straight black hair cut very short. She has large, dark brown eyes, an obviously wide mouth and a couple of patches of missing pigment similar to Mitchell's (one near the small of her back and the other encircling her left ankle). **Personality:** Do you know the kind of person who fills up a room just by standing in it? Her directors love it, they say she has fantastic stage presence, but in other situations it's obvious that she's a little overwhelming. Mimi is _very_ loud, and _very_... big. She's always dreaming out loud, so to speak, telling people about plans and half-baked schemes, as well as discussing the finer points of performance (often breaking out into song in the middle of a conversation just because she can). A few people are able to shut her up, though, including her brother. He doesn't always have much to say, but when she's around him, she tries her best to calm herself. After most of a childhood having only each other to talk to, she knows well that when Mitch _does_ say something, it's usually something she wants (or needs) to hear. Between shows, she usually works as a bartender, but (as she often says) the stage is where she was born to be, darling, and she's always performing somewhere, for someone. **Flame color:** Purple; Mairim ("mare-um", but Mimi calls her Maiflower) has a similar personality to her bearer: big ideas, big emotions, big voice and big ego. She'll egg Mimi on constantly, always confident that her magic will keep them both around no matter what happens. After all, why be careful when you can always be healed?
:( Sadly, yes, it seems it is a universal problem. I didn't realize Spades had sent me a PM about the Purple phobia until this morning, which was something like 17 hours after I got it. The fact that it DOES count messages, but they're only your own sent ones, is almost like adding insult to injury...
