Honestly forgot about this website until I saw the "R" in my bookmarks bar. I'm looking to write more and am hoping to give this another try not that I've moved to a stable home.

Final Fantasy 14 has it's hands around my neck. No regrets.

Bio

Well I'm 21 years old and in college, I want to be an English/History teacher and I've been role playing for a long time now. I've ran several subreddits (most dedicated to role playing), written several stories, ran seven campaigns in table top games, and been a player in about ten table top games. I haven't even scratched the surface of role playing it seems, as I'm always learning how to be better at it!

I'm big on movies, games, and TV. I'm a pretty normal guy, love puns and jokes and just maxin, relaxin all cool (I might even shoot b-ball outside the school with you).

Hit me up if you want to chat! I'm always down for more friends! :D

I'm sorry, as much as I would love to continue this I'm actually moving in two days (unexpectedly) and won't be able to be near a computer for a while as it's out of state and I don't have a place to stay during the transition. Meaning wi-fi will be rare if at all available.
That actually sounds really cool and ripe for exploration. Maybe people tried to colonize that place but all that's left are just ruins of small towns and structures scattered about the region.

Love the new map, by the way!
I volunteer as tribute!!! I had to, I'm sorry.

I think everyone sort of volunteers, it's just up to us to vote. If there were a list of people, it'd make things easier. I can't do such list at the moment, otherwise I would.
Voxx

Voxx, with his legs now fully operational and his body growing stronger with each passing second, saw his fellow green skins turn towards the black skinned one that stood in the light. Some stepped forward closer, Voxx followed suit to get a better look at the new being. As he got closer, it was apparent shadows were at work on the creature as it began to have a more defined shape and grow a shade of green. The green skin was an old one, a female one, but she held herself with confidence. When she spoke, it was music to Voxx's ears as he heard full sentences and understood them.

A name. A hunt. Brothers and sisters. His mind was kicked into overdrive to process all this information like it was second nature to him.

"F..." He started, but shook his head a little, "V...Vo....Voxx! I ammm...Voxx." The new born goblin said, words feeling like mush in his mouth as he struggled to grab a hold of new ones. Looking at the Goblin woman in front of him, he thought for a moment, staring at the world behind her. It was so bright it nearly blinded him but Voxx wanted to see more. He eventually found the words that felt right in his mouth though, looking back at the woman with a nod and holding a hand to his chest.

"This one's name is Voxx."
I'm new to the forum so I don't know what truly comes with the title of GM in a thread, that's why I suggested it. I'm cool with keeping it here though if there isn't any major differences.

I think it best if the groups, whatever ones there are, meet outside the main gates with an attack of some Pokemon swarm. Like the plot suggests, they're becoming rather hostile and a great way to bond is through an attack on you and your comrades.

As for the other nation, I quite like the idea of them being attacked or missing on the way to the meeting. They could be setting up for an all out war with whatever nation they are closest to, not looking at map right now.

For Co-GMs, it should be up to a vote on who we all think should help in the process of telling the story. I think having one is a bit dictatorish, I think two-three is great for helping to run this campaign.
Jack of Aurious

____

He's not sticking around for dinner? You'd think a host would further entertain their guests... Jack thought to himself, sitting at the Aurios table with his Spearow, Garuda, and his Chimchar, Vulcan. The trio had been peckish in regards to the food, stomachs churning still from so many different people in one room, and willing to kill him and his table in a heartbeat. Jack assumed there would be teams, but it didn't hit him until now. He had always been a lone wolf type, it was how he grew up, and he had no idea how to form a group...let alone lead one if he became leader. Though, with the idea of heading north first he assumed a seasoned veteran of Aurios territory would be a great choice. Many were known to die in just the fall of Aurious alone from inexperience, he would be crucial to survive.

Or he could go it alone, following another group from a distance. That seemed like the best option thus far, seeing as people had already begun to group up. He could tail them all out of the city, assuming they took the Emperor's advice and headed north first to avoid the coming winter, and see which group stood the best chance and more open to him joining. Or, he could follow a group heading south, if one did so they would not fear the winter in the north and they would most likely be filled with people similar to himself. They would also be daring to go the road less traveled to complete their goal, something Jack assumed would need to be done in order to complete their task.

"Spearow!" Garuda said, nudging Jack with her head and directing him to the door. Either to the groups forming up there or ready to leave herself.

"Chimchar?" Vulcan titled his head, taking a bite of some bread on the table and looking from Jack to the door.

"We're going on a mission for the Emperor, Vulcan. What do you two think? Group up now or later?" Jack questioned, sipping his drink and scanning the crowd of grouping people. It'd be best to have someone in the group from each territory, would make traveling much easier. Jack decided it best to see the groups form up in the hall before making any more decisions, watching from the side to survey the scene and his available choices.
Sorry! I didn't know discussion was being had in terms of the plot and such in this tab! Also that we were continuing in this thread now that OP is gone.

I think we should really create a new thread for this, so that Crow has the banner for OP and has more control over such things as it seems they are going to be GM and can also appoint Co-GMs if needed.

I would also think it wise to mention everyone in any major plot posts, like the speech, so we are all aware plot is moving forward at GM speed.

In regards to the route to be taken. I think we should discuss that in character, as it seems ripe for our characters to get to know each other if they haven't previously interacted.
I think if he allows it, it'd be best to tell someone his initial plan in a PM. Then that person create a new thread and become the GM while also playing their character. It'd be difficult but I think this is the better solution besides everyone taking turns plus it'd help, if we do continue, to not mess up his world or just make up stuff and him have to live with it even though he made the world. If that makes a lick of sense.
Wake Up.

Voxx's eyes shot open as his lungs began gasping for that sweet cave air, his nose in the dirt on the ground. All he saw was a dark brown, was this the world now? Cold, wet air and dry, dark dirt? He heard something though, something stirring. His eyes darted back and forth, body weak from sleep, but could not catch a glimpse of anything. Was he making that sound? Didn't feel like it.

"H-Hello..."

Voxx stopped breathing as soon as he had begun, what was that sound? Was it this brown expanse in front of him? Voxx became aware of his body, he wasn't just a floating head but he had more to use! Curling his fingers slowly, fingers cracking in the process, he brought on next to his face. Green. Well, that's a new color! But he wanted to find out what that sound was, or where it came from. He felt his other arm, then his two legs, blood rushing through them like a dam being destroyed in a raging river. All at once he felt energy, the need to go. Though, all he had known was this brown color with this green body. He tensed his left arm and felt himself rise, ever so slightly.

His left arm, palm against the dry dirt, pushed forward and soon Voxx was on his back. More colors! There was more to life besides this green body and that brown dirt! There was gray walls that looked jagged, there were other green bodies too! Several were using their arms to be tall. But they looked different than his arms. He strained whilst lifting his head to see if he had strange hands under him and he did! Now to figure out how to be like them and use those other hands. Somehow, Voxx managed to pull himself sitting upright, looking more at the world around him and the other green bodies. Using the nearby wall, Voxx used his new ability of pushing and curling his hands to climb the wall and use it as support to use his other hands. A few seconds passed and he was standing, with the help of a wall! He pushed off the wall but fell over from now knowing his strength.

Ow. Sitting down on the dirt he once thought was vast and fascinating, he tried to stand once more. This time it was easier for him, his other hands had more blood rushing to them. He saw another Goblin waving and tried doing that motion with his right hand, it was fun! Now...to figure out how to make that sound.

He saw the thing the other Goblin used, something on their head. A mouth, he guessed. Voxx opened and closed his, a click coming from him flicking his tongue. This would be harder than expected. He opened his mouth once more and strained to make any sound, eventually a groan escaped. He did it! Voxx made a sound! As if it was second nature, Voxx began sounding out the word.

"H....he....helllllllll.....hello. Hello. Helloooooo!" He started repeating, having fun with this new ability of standing and using his mouth to make noise. He turned to the left and saw another body, though it looked a different color, darker, standing away from the other Goblins. Voxx tilted his head, muttering "hello" still.
Oh my god that's totally fine, you don't have to apologize at all! Maybe someone can take up the mantle of GM while you're away and if you ever come back and this is still going, you can have it back? It's a super awesome idea and it'd suck for it to be forgotten so quickly, ya know? But that's completely up to you. I sincerely hope everything gets better.
