Hoy, did someone say knight? Do tell. Good t'see ya again, Nobby.

I don't have all the specifics of the character finished yet. He's not actually a knight but is similar to one.

Want to finish up our current battle still?
I'm still alive guys! I must get back to posting!

Maybe have a new character named Nyte. He's...a knight.
My niece and nephew are finally leaving in two days so I shall be back to my normal schedule next week! I was afraid Evvie would grow old and die before I could get back to it.

On a side note, during break I've been trying to figure out starship lengths for my scifi setting. Do you know how hard it is to avoid the temptation to get into a ship measuring contest with star destroyers? If I just...add...a couple hundred meters to my battleships...no! Don't do it! I may need someone to prey for me, giving me strength. It does make me feel better that some of my capital ships exceed the imperial II class at least.
@Iuniper

Might be interested for said over the top magical girl action. Would it be magical girl versus magical girl or versus monsters?

I have to warn you, for the next month I can only post late at nights unless it's something simple like ooc posts.
@Doc Doctor

Umbard was completely blindsided by the “attack”, his face pounding into the dirt in a move that would cause minor abrasions and bruising to develop. His strongest emotion from this cowardly move was anger rather than fear. He shoved himself upwards in a huff, ready to cuss this newcomer out, when he spotted the horror that was wiggling around before him where his previous opponent had been standing. It was a horrible enough sight that it caused even him pause in both his body and tongue.

When he could find movement again after five seconds or so of staring, if the time allowed him he would scoop up his weapon and then charge the creature’s right flank to smash it downward into it’s torso.

Meanwhile, Evvie exhaled her held breath. No imminent threat came down upon her. This made her worried for her ally. Had he made it out of this horrible place in time or would he be caught by the villain while in his vulnerable position? Her eyes tried to focus through the darkness to spot a way back up so she could help.

I just want a '1' on my Arena record, and apparently I can't bribe Rilla for it. Which is horseshit. ><

I don't think anyone will give you a win that counts for the arena record out of the normal people here. That would go against spirit of the competition. I'm fine losing matches intentionally for normal battles but not for the record.
@Doc Doctor

The kids really aren't letting up still. O_o

On the bright side I've basically found all the shrine in Zelda breath of the wild (they enjoy watching) and mastering some guitar scales while he forces me to watch him play as well. I'm going to be a guitar master by the time they leave in a month.

Since I'm not going to get extra time off at some point like I thought, I'll just get a post out very late at night over the weekend and sleep in.
One Punch-y instagib five-post fights are not considered marks of skill or distinction for us; they're considered marks of scorn for a player considered beneath the attention and effort required of a proper fight.

I understand where you're coming from for most of the post but I have to disagree in this point. Someone could outclass a fellow fighter with a brilliant opening move, but this would be rare to happen for skilled characters to die instantly. At least for fiction. In real life it's way more likely someone would go down instantly unless it's unarmed combat and even then one good punch can instant ko someone.
@Doc Doctor
My niece and nephew are visiting for a lot of the summer and they enjoy playing with me a lot once I get off work, but I'll try to get a post tomorrow. My alone time is limited.
The centaur, however, sounds like using 2 PCs in one fight, naturally making things a 2v1. If it was a horse, it would feel more fair, but the fact it's a centaur, who has equipabble upper body with additional arms, makes that easily unbalanced from a fight standpoint.

The opponent would have to be more powerful or team up with someone else or it could be an event type thing, like characters fighting against small armies. It's not something arena battles typically are but possible.
