Aight, I can do that. How does the son of Hekate, Goddess of Magic, sound? His name's Add, he's a hermit, and is pretty shy, and usually spends most of his time making trinkets and potions, but he'll be one of the aspects of magic, specifically witchcraft and hedge magic.

He'll also wear a really funny hat.

I'm interested, but I'd like to know more about the plot. Do we have to start on the island, or can our characters be else where, like Africa, at the beginning of the role play?

My character is Akheilos. According to his myth, Akheilos was a boy who boasted that he was more beautiful than Aphrodite, and outraged by this claim, the Goddess of Love transmogrified into a shark. For my version of Akheilos, his myth is the shark's creation myth and he is the progenitor of all sharks. He will be a very bloodthirsty character, always hungering for flesh, especially human and godflesh, and he'll be the very definition of "Apex Predator"; he'll also be able to change between his human and monster forms.

I was hoping for Akheilos to start in Africa, where he'd be hunting animals, but with the incursion of World War III, he takes advantage of chaos to satisfy his more "exotic" tastes.

Superhero-themed Roleplay

Sounds excellent. I'm game, but I have two questions: will the role play be casual, intermediate, or advanced? and can we play as villains?

Hello World

Hey-a, I'm Impulse and I love superheroes and sports anime and MOBAs. I've never actually committed myself to a full-length role play, so I'm sort of new to this type of stuff, but I'm really interested in it, especially for superhero role plays.

My favorite superhero is the name and avatar I'm using: Impulse! In fact, my goal in life is to get get a job at DC Comics and write Impulse stories. I love Yowamushi Pedal and Haikyuu!! and I play a variety of MOBA, like League of Legends, DOTA2, Infinite Crisis, Dawngate, and Smite (soon to be included in the list: Heroes of the Storm and Shards of War), so if you ever want to hit me up, just give me a call and I'm game. I also play Hearthstone and when Dragon Age: Inquisition is released, I'll most likely disappear entirely from social life.

Currently, I'm been playing Alien: Isolation and it's pretty great, especially at night time with all the lights turned off.
