Taylor nodded simply to what Harry had to say about Riley. Seemed like a pretty vague response, but he seemed to be absolute in the answer, as well as sincere. Taylor already knew the facts. Her best friend having foreseen the girl alive and well, she didn't exactly need the reassurance of Mr. Kingsfield, but it was good to know he had positive thoughts on the case and the likelihood of finding her. Taylor could hear Mrs. Walker coming up from behind her, turning slightly to acknowledge her presence before turning back to Harry.
"I'll try to keep a level head about the whole thing. Thank you, sir. If I don't see you again, have a good rest of your day." She gave the detective a friendly smile before walking into the back to go take her break, giving Mrs. Walker an appreciative head nod before grabbing a cup of coffee and heading out the back door to sit outside to listen to the rain while she enjoyed her drink.

Declan sighed heavily as his face drooped, looking up at Finley through his eyebrows. It wasn't intentional, but he probably looked like a sad puppy who'd just been whipped for chewing up its owner's favorite pair of shoes. He listened to Finley fire back at him, and it made him feel all the more worse about it all. Yes, he should have known better. He should have known
Finley, better. He rubbed the back of his neck firmly and half-heartedly smiled at Finn.
"I hope you know that I trust you wholeheartedly. I'm practically the Sawyer to your Finn, right? I was just caught up in the bullshit, and I felt it would be safer for everyone if I was alone, ya know? Taylor actually went and got me a new phone after I smashed my other one. She told me she knew you'd be pissed off the worst out of everyone if I went MIA." He thought about adding in a joke somewhere about how he should have sent a post by owl, but he figured there was a time and place for Hogwarts jokes, and this wasn't one of them.
He looked over at their group of friends, then back at her as she explained her vision, and where she wanted to go. He simply replied with a slight tease to his tone,
"You want to head out now, in the rain?" Part of him felt she wouldn't care if it was raining or snowing or whatever. This was their friend they were talking about finding..
alive. It didn't matter what the circumstances were, chances were, they were gonna head out right then and there. Declan wouldn't mind either way.
