In the Hokage Office
"Ah, this year's academy class looks good. Got me a Uchiha, a Nara, and a Hyuga. This will be interesting. I should just fuck around and put them in the same team, make a super team... Oh.. and there is my son. He managed to graduate too..." A figure sitting in the executive chair that has its back turned to the door sighs slightly.

A knock can be heard...

"Come in." The Hokage said, turning his chair so he would face the entrance to his office to greet his visitor. "Sir, the graduating class is ready for you. Should I have them come to you or will you go to meet them?" "Eh. Have them come in. I will be assigning teams and perhaps their first missions as well... That reminds me..." He turned his attention to a few dossiers on the table. "I also need to pick their team leaders as well. I might...." "Is there anything else you would like me to tell them?" "Nah. Don't freak them out too much. Just have them come through." "Very good, please excuse me" The Hokage offered the ninja a respectful nod as the ninja exited.

"So...how should I split the teams... Perhaps I'll just come up with it on the spot... after all, I've never even met these kids.. Gods be good they're competent. I don't want to write any letters to any families informing that one of theirs have died..." Taking a sip from the cup on his table, he leaned back into his chair and waited for the arrival of the freshly promoted Genins.

His Story, until now...

On a particularly warm day in May, a certain black-haired child was born to a busy, but always present father, and a loving but stern, mother.

This boy, having been born to a hero of the village, has always had a sense of destiny about him. People began talking about his potential even before he could walk, much less show any promise. Judging by the fact that his first word was "Hokage", one could say that it is in the boy's future to take the legendary title from his own father.

Growing up, the boy showed the same passion that resided in his father, and occasionally displayed the vast kindness that allow his mother to take the dark cloud from his father's past and wipe them away. Most importantly, he showed a rebellious side that his father simply laughed at but his mother worried about.

Entering the academy, he was either held in high regard by his peers because of his father's title or disdained by his peers for the same reason. Himself, he simply wanted to learn and play, and cause trouble. His grades were never the best, and his skills was not as astounding as some had hoped. Whispers can be heard that he was just another boy, born to legends but never destined for anything greater.

Currently, he is enlisted as one of the low ranked shinobis of the village, trying to step from under the vast shadow of his father while trying to keep his mother sane by staying away from harm...

History and the like

|| BIOGRAPHY ||

A descendant of the legendary Senju clan, Tesshin was born and raised in Konohagakure. Going through all the necessary training and hardships of becoming an official shinobi of the village. By age 20, he had achieved Jonin status through the Jonin exam because he received very few recommendations from village.

During his time as a Jonin, he was sent to undertake a A-ranked mission alone. Tasked with infiltrating a rival village and possibly destabilizing its structure. During the mission, he was caught, tortured and held captive as essentially a prisoner of war for an extended period of time. Konohagakure, after a period, classified him as one of their missing nin under the presumption that he was turned.

Approximately 5 years after the label of missing nin was placed on him, he was released by his captors, thinking that his 'former' village would have labeled him a missing nin and issued a Kill-On-Sight order on him anyways. The 5 years as a captive changed him, both physically and mentally. Physically, he lost an arm. Scars riddled his body, though his captors 'spared' his face so that his village can identify him without much effort. Upon his release, he immediately got back to work on his mission, having spent the past 5 years simply biding his time, learning the ways of his enemies, and plotting.

In the end, he was able to finish his original mission. He completely destabilized the village, caused a small scale civil war that led to the eradication of said village. Carrying the head and seal of his now former captors, he returned home.

Upon returning, he essentially had to fight his way back in. Showing a compassion not previously seen in his younger days, he simply disabled his 'opponents' and proceeded to fight his way to an audience with the then current Hokage. Presenting him with the head and seal of the eradicated village, he proudly announced that he had finished his mission, 5 years in the making.

Seeing this as a sign that the prodigal son has returned, the Hokage took the label of missing nin from his name and restored him to his former status. Gaining more and more recognition, he slowly won over the hearts of the village, and one woman in particular...

5 years after his return to the village, the previous Hokage retired. Unsurprisingly, he was appointed the next Hokage at the retirement ceremony. A mantle he has been carrying ever since.
